There are many things I love in this world; namely cheddar, yelling profanities at the arsehole man who lives above me, oversleeping, bourbon biscuits, a good brew and laughing at my own jokes. But another raging passion of mine burns brightly for Technic Cosmetics, a brand I've featured on the blog a few times previously [here and here] whose low price tags and high quality products sit extremely well with me. As well as they fact that they're cruelty free. As a poor person with a shopping addiction and an obsession with small fluffy pets, these three pieces of criteria are extremely important.

Technic are one of those brands destined to be absolutely huge. Their products are gradually being stocked in more & more outlets, I'm starting to see them mentioned more & more frequently on my social media feeds and with every new piece that I try from their huge collection, I fall more & more in loveTheir highlighters are next level pigmented, I wear one of their pink lipsticks most days and their colour correction palettes are a life hack no blogger should have to face life without.

They've recently released some new products which I was lucky enough to be able to try out recently- and obv absolutely have to share with you guys.

Technic Metalix Eyeshadow Creams*

Well, I couldn't not kick off with these absolute babes could I?! These metallic eyeshadow creams are incredible, and something LOADS of you got proper heart-eyed over when I swatched them on my Instagram stories not too long ago. They're easy to apply with a little doefoot applicator, blend easily and are beyond pigmented. No need to remortgage the family home and shell out on high-end metallics [from the likes of Stila] when you can grab such gorgeous and affordable alternatives.

These are just 3 shades from the 6 available options - and one of the stand-out products for me from Technic's new releases. Make sure you've got something firm to grip onto, or you're sat down for this next flurry of images. These swatches are 'bout to blow your mind[s.]

I still can't cope with them, tbh. My personal favourite from the three Metalix creams above is definitely the palest one - I love using it on the inner corners of my eyes [by the ol' tearduct] to add brightness and to mask the fact that I'm a wrinkly old fossil deficient in sleep recently. They're so easy to use and so damn on-point - view the full collection below #MakeupPorn

I was really pleasantly surprised by this foundation stick and how blendable / easy to apply it is. I've never really tried anything quite like it before - instead, just having spent hours engrossed in other people's makeup tutorials using them. So I didn't know what to expect!

Another one of Technic's new releases, these nifty cream foundation sticks come in a variety of shades; stored within compact, sleek packaging. Their coverage is pretty good - not too heavy, so perfect for sticky Summer evenings. They remind me a little of the Clinique Chubby Sticks - you could potentially use a couple of their different shades to achieve similar contouring dreams - without the extortionate price tag.

I slightly misjudged my current level of paleness when picking out my shade of foundation; turns out I'm not quite as translucent as I thought. Café Au Lait is a little too light for me to use as an all over foundation at the moment, but I've been using it as a concealer and to highlight areas of my face in my feeble attempts at contouring - and loving it. You can see the full range of these Stix below. They come in 8 different shades; from light - dark.

This super fine translucent powder is ideal for all skin tones and helps achieve my second favourite form of baking - the non-edible one. It's very finely ground and when applied, minimises the appearance of fine lines, pores and imperfections; setting makeup in place with a natural finish. It reminds me of the Vichy translucent powder I've tried in the past; and I'm all for a good dupe.

I go in pretty heavy with my powder, as I have oily-AF skin which needs serious taming. But if you're into more of a dewy look or don't suffer with the oiliest fod in the North West [like me] a light dusting of this soft powder will set your face in place without feeling heavy on the skin. It won't cake either.

Technic Colour Fix Correcting Primer* - Green

Yes, you read that right - green primer! It makes sense though, in the grand scheme of colour correction theory, doesn't it? I might have despised science in school, but I'm all about it now - especially when it comes to camoflaguing and enhancing my debatable skin tone! If only Mr Booth had taught us about this, I might have actually been a bit more interested. And maybe less kids would have tried to set the lab alight with bunsen burners and gas taps.

This primer is oil free and smoothing; with Vitamin E and Aloe Vera, which give it a really fresh scent as you rub it in. It makes my skin feel softer and less oily, with the green colouring doing its science magic and combatting redness. Which is super useful, as my whole face is like a massive red spot at the moment. I leave it to settle into my skin for a few minutes before applying my foundation and makeup as normal; and it makes a great base.

This is legit my new favourite mascara. The difference it makes to my sad excuse for eyelashes [ever since the tragic loss of many of my eyelashes and shreds of dignity on school photo day 2004] is pretty miraculous. This is Technic's water resistant version of their bestselling Mega Lash Mascara; revamped for Summer, dips in the pool and the standard rainy British summertime. I personally wouldn't say it's 100% waterproof, but what I would say is that it definitely helps build volume and give lashes a level of lift that you don't get with many other mascaras.

I love the formula of this mascara and the brush really grabs and coats each lash; building volume with every stroke - without the dreaded 'spider's legs' look. Yeah Younique FibreLash - I'm talking about YOU. Worst damn mascara of my life. Mega Lash Water Resistant Mascara is another item from Technic which has not only won my seal of approval, but also won itself a place in my daily go-to products box.

Technic Water Resistant Black Liquid Eyeliner*

Technic's new Waterproof Liquid Liner is bae. I really love this stuff - whereas some of my other liquid eyeliners can smudge or fade during the day [and if I get caught in the rain, a rogue Jagerbomb ends up in / around my eye or I do a cry it's game over] this bad boy does not smudge. I can sit there and rub my eyes and wipe over my [sh*tty excuses for a eyeliner] wing with my finger and it does not flinch. From the very first time I used this eyeliner, I was super impressed.

Technic's Liquid Liner has a fine, precision tip; designed to give you heightened control over your wing. It's delicate and the colour builds up with small strokes; which is great, as it helps avoid disasters of the overlined-eye variety. I find it quite easy to apply this eyeliner - though if you're new to the liquid liner game, you may need to practice a little with it in order to best master your craft; to gauge how much pressure etc you need to apply.

I absolutely love every single one of these new releases that I was lucky enough to be gifted by Technic. They're well designed, effective, affordable and cruelty free; suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Many of them have high-end counterparts; which I would boycott a million times over in favour of cheaper, pet friendly dupes like these. Make sure you check out Technic's website & their Twitter | Instagram | Facebook profiles to get more information on stockists, new products and the season's latest beauty trends. I predict HUGE things for these guys and I can't wait to put in a massive haul order with them soon.
