New month, new Dollibox*. Yay! This means a whole host of pink, magical goodness turning up [albeit via a slightly sinister Yodel delivery man] on my doorstep - that I can unwrap, squeal  at and weep in excitement about; much to Clive's annoyance.

Dollibox has fast become one of my faaaaaavourite subscription services, thanks to how cute and sparkly every month's curation is; and the fact that every box I've received has always been packed to the brim with a really wide variety of products. For example; we've seen makeup, skincare, hair care, hair accessories, jewellery, beauty tools and wax melts / candles in recent months - which is a mash up of products you don't get in other popular monthly boxes [yes, I'm totes having a dig at you Birchbox and Glossybox - and wot?]

Here's what June 2017 had in store for us Dollibox Devotees.

Dollibox June 2017 Edition Review

I'm pretty house-bound at the moment [as well as extremely poor] and let's not lie: I'm bitter as hell about it. I've been watching my friends' Snapchat and Instagram stories of them at Glastonbury with a fiery, jealous, rage burning deep in my stomach.

But putting my own beef aside, I do actually absolutely love Summer and Festival Season more than anything: the fashion, the tan, the hair, the makeup ... the boho style and carefree vibes. So I've put together a little post with some beauty / fashion inspo for you guys to embrace this Summer - perfect picks for Festival Season, holiday, days out in the park and just general ways to save time - & feel fantastic over the warmer months. #FestivalMistHaves, if you will.

So...? and Jewellery Box very kindly sent me some key items to style for Summer 2017 - all things I'd class as essential when staying somewhere unfamiliar and experiencing new places, cultures and people. In style. I'm talking feeling fresh, smelling good and showing off a wicked boho sense of style; through minimal, yet statement pieces of jewellery. Cos we all know one of the best highlights of Festival season is seeing who wore what and this season's biggest fashion trends come to life. Coachella is one of my favourite searches when I'm looking for boho, Summer inspo; for example.

An absolute life essential [as well as a definite #FestivalMistHave] for me is dry shampoo. The number of times this invention has saved me after oversleeping like a beast is unreal. Dry shampoo is so useful when travelling or at a Festival. It's quick [literally takes seconds] doesn't require any water or electric to blowdry your hair and leaves your locks smelling lush. So regardless of whether you're camping at a Festival, having a lazy day by the pool on vacay or just [like me] can't really be arsed to wash your hair tonight; these fab dry shampoos* from So...? have got your back.

I never even realised So...? made dry shampoo; but they do and it's really good. Like, really good. It smells gorgeous, doesn't leave pure loads of grey in your hair like you've suddenly aged about 40 years and leaves your hair looking clean - it's a life hack every girl should have access to. Packing a can of dry shampoo in your Festival bag is so much more compact and lightweight than lugging around towels and hair products; too. And just in case you're still not convinced - So...? also make cute mini cans - tiny enough to fit into your bejewelled festival bum bag and as light as air.

This beautiful, dainty necklace is from Jewellery Box* [shop it here] and I couldn't have imagined a more perfect Festival necklace if I tried. With its delicate dream catcher design and bright blue gemstone, this jewellery will look unreal teamed with a tan, messy hair and denim. It's so boho, so Summer and so pretty against the skin - plus it's such a reasonable price, too! An Instagram dream; in equally Instagrammable packaging.

And last but not least, I think my ultimate #SoFestivalMistHave HAS to be a So...? body mist [or 12.] They're just perfect for the Summer - they're fresh, fruity and lightweight to stick in your handbag; plus spritzing them on when you're on the hot 'n' sticky side of life brings RELIEF LIKE NO OTHER. And when you're in the sun all day at a Festival - where there's mud, sweat, spilt drinks and not many opportunities for washing, a So...? Body Mist* would be the first thing I'd reach for. My personal favourites in these body mists are White Petals, Wild Berries, Pink Grapefruit and Fresh Floral. I love having a signature scent on holiday or at special occasions with friends; as my mind associates that smell with those memories forever after. Which is a lovely nostalgic moment to have. Check out So...?'s very reasonably priced collection at Boots and Superdrug.

Blogger bbz rejoice - you know our obsession with all things rose gold [and marble] - the candles, ornaments, makeup brushes, home fixtures, storage baskets, nails, jewellery...? Well Skinny Tan have only gone and taken the possibilities for our love one step further and released an ACTUAL Rose Gold 7-Day Tanner* in the prettiest of packaging!

I KNOW, RIGHT?! The best news since... well, since I found that penny on the floor. But also, news with an expiry date... The Skinny Tan Rose Gold experience won't be around forever - once it's gone, this limited edition tan will be very much GONE. Make sure you get your hands on a bottle today, before it's too late. And here's a little blog post to show you exactly why this needs to happen.

Rose gold isn't just a preference; it's a lifestyle.

Skinny Tan Limited Edition Rose Gold 7-Day Tanner Review

Skinny Tan Limited Edition Rose Gold 7-Day Tanner Review

Exclusive to Superdrug, Skinny Tan's Rose Gold 7-Day Tanner takes everything we already love about the brand - the fact it's cruelty free, vegan friendly and reduces the visibility of cellulite - and adds a sprinkling of sparkly rose gold glory.

It's an industry first - and it's for a fantastic cause too [as well as giving bloggers the chance to full on embrace the rose gold life.] Skinny Tan are supporting Marie Curie for the second consecutive year to help raise money and awareness for the charity's vital work; which is a cause very close to my heart. For every product sold, £2 will be donated to Marie Curie.

Skinny Tan Limited Edition Rose Gold 7-Day Tanner Review

The formula is a lovely, rose gold, thick shimmery cream - a little like some of the instant tans I've used before. It leaves a shimmery. rose gold stain on your skin; whilst your natural looking tan develops under it. Before I applied mine, I exfoliated thoroughly using my Skinny Tan Exfoliating Mitt and Skinny Tan Pre Tan Primer; to prep my skin.

The tan applies nicely and you can instantly see a difference. Don't worry if you notice any areas of skin where the rose gold shimmer may look darker, patchy or gathered - once you wash it off, the tan you're left with is unbelievably even and natural looking. I actually find this variant of Skinny Tan one of the easiest ones I've tried so far in terms of application.

Skinny Tan Limited Edition Rose Gold 7-Day Tanner Review

I always apply my fake tan before bed, so it gives it maximum time to develop. This way, you're also less likely to accidentally get it wet; causing tell tale streaks where you've accidentally spilt that glass of water / coffee / wine all over yourself. After washing it off in the morning, I was really happy with the finish of this tan - it's glowy, natural looking and flawlessly even. And it still is, days later.

Skinny Tan Limited Edition Rose Gold 7-Day Tanner Review

As I'm one of those people who prides themselves on being honest [to the extent where I should probably just shut the f up sometimes] I am going to share a slightly unfortunate tanning moment I had whilst using this tan this week.

I happened to apply it on one of the HOTTEST NIGHTS OF THE YEAR, so I decided to wear a very lightweight long top that I throw over bikinis; which is striped with see through panels. I thought this would preserve my modesty a bit in case Paul the Postman came round unexpectedly the following morning etc and I didn't want my tan to smudge on the duvet; as I spoon it ferociously, like a feral beast.

Long story short - I woke up in the morning to discover that I must have fell asleep on my back at some point, for quite some time. Lying pretty heavily on the general arse department. The end result? I have accidentally tanned stripes across my cheeks, like I'm part zebra. It's probably the funniest thing ever, I have an actual striped bum which funnily enough co-ordinates really well with Skinny Tan's packaging. All thanks to being a bit sweaty in a textured, striped top.

Skinny Tan Limited Edition Rose Gold 7-Day Tanner Review

The rest of my tan developed perfectly and I was SO IMPRESSED. Just my luck though that I tanned thick, distinct stripes across my entire arse department when I had an appointment with the consultant and two students on the same day, who DEFINITELY saw it when they examined me. Lololol. Damn those open back gowns!

Skinny Tan Limited Edition Rose Gold 7-Day Tanner Review

ANYWAY. Getting the awful vision of my stripey arse out of your mind, you should totally pick a bottle of this gorgeous Rose Gold Tanner up. It's easy to apply, bloody ROSE GOLD, lasts for 7 days and gives you a really natural glow. Even on the hands and feet. And especially on the arse!

Support a fantastic cause and a fantastic brand by shopping Skinny Tan's Limited Edition Rose Gold 7-Day Tanner exclusively at Superdrug; whilst stocks last. Marie Curie are incredible and a charity I will try and support for the rest of my life - it's amazing that buying tan can make this even easier to do and a lovely cause for Skinny Tan to be involved with.

Have you tried Skinny Tan before? Had any funny tanning stories of your own you'd like to share?

*This post contains PR samples I was gifted for the purpose of review. As always though, all opinions and arse related disaster stories are very much my own!!

Dollibox* day is one of my favourite days of the month - pretty much on par with payday <3 Every month a pretty parcel of pink goodness and sparkles [always sparkles] lands on my doorstep and it makes my day to unwrap it all. It's always such a cute and varied mix of products - served with a dash of magic. As I'm already a little late to the party posting this review, I'm just going to dive straight in.

May 2017 Dollibox Review

My skin is a bit like a horror movie. Like a slasher, one to shock and scare you unexpectedly; with elements of gore too, when it's having a breakout. I mean I'm so sexy, can we just? Hahahahaha. But no, anyway; when I was a teenager, my skin [bar the one massive chin spot that I named Boris and who STILL visits me from time to time - f*cking 15 years later] was always pretty alright... but now I'm like, an 'adult' it's all started to go a bit west.

Although I think a lot of my skin woes are down to stress [and probably my very caffeine fuelled diet], for the past 5-6 years or so, I've developed a really oily t-zone. I'm sure you'll have heard me moan about it in the past, comparing my gleamingly greasy complexion with that shiny, oiled up photo of Kimmy K that broke the internet or whatever. It isn't fun, it has been difficult to contain sometimes and it's cost me a small fortune in matte face powders and setting sprays - just to keep me looking semi-acceptable socially.

MONU Skin Natural Skincare [who are a brand I've featured before here and here] offered to send me some products tailored for my skin type, to see if they could help - and I jumped all over this opportunity to tame my oily fiasco-face. It also helps that this brand are against animal testing and use natural active ingredients in their products - two things I'm big on.

MONU Skin Natural Professional Skincare for Oily Skin Review

It's Summer; it's hot, we want our hair out of our [collectively too hot] faces but damn, we wanna look hot doing so! Whether you're simply looking to get your locks outta your face to avoid getting a raaaaaging sweat-on - or perhaps wanting to channel Perrie from Little Mix's festival hair goals for Summer, I've stumbled across a fab little brand that'll sort you right out. Scunci.

Scunci's motto is that life is too short to have boring hair - amen to that! Their collection of innovative and down-right essential hair tools can help you achieve the look you're after and keep your locks under control. Some of their products [such as their pack of Get The Look Poly Bands] are a legit must-have in terms of creating on-point, braided festival looks this season - and others [like their Super Soft Bobby Pins and Soft, No-Damage Elastics] are daily essentials when it comes to taming your tresses.

I love Scunci's no damage elastics - they're super soft, thick / strong enough to hold my hair in place [it's got a bit wild recently] and as you can see; they don't have any metal on them, so they don't snag your hair. I'm dead headsore; so with other bobbles I wear from time to time, it's like some sick kind of barbaric torture removing them - and strands of my hair getting caught and yanked all over the show. Definitely worth investing in some of these if you have long, thick hair like mine.

Scunci hair styling products review

This generous pack of 75 see-through polybands is beyond useful - they're the perfect tool to use to secure plaits, braids and other intricate hair styles in place - without being obvious to the human eye.

Braids, twists and other wavy, boho hairstyles are big news once again this Summer - especially when it comes to Festival season. I'm a bit behind the times when it comes to the amazing multi-braids and twists I've seen all you fashionistas pulling out of the bag on Instagram YouTube - I've only just learnt how to fishtail plait. But I've seen just how useful these little bands are in securing multi-plait braided creations together - and the end results are just wow.

I was stalking Scunci's website for some more inspo actually; on styles I can incorporate these polybands into - when I stumbled across their Instatwist contraption. This clever little hand-held device styles hair in braid-like styles & twists - and omg some of the end-looks you guys have created are gorgeous! If you're looking for Festival / Boho hair looks you should totes check that out. It's like a new toy that I know I don't need, but I've now convinced myself that I want; haha.

Scunci hair styling products review

My ultimate fave from Scunci though has to be these no-slip, super soft finish, extra hold bobby pins. Never in my like, twenty years of using these clips, have I experienced any quite like these. They're so soft; they're almost cushioned. Not just the end bit; the whole clip has this lovely coating on it that ensures they stay in place all day - and don't pure start slipping out after a long night and a few wines.

These grips don't twist at the ends, don't scratch your scalp and don't fight back when you push them into place - they just glide straight in there and ease back out. They're amazing; and something I'd recommend to everyone.

Scunci hair styling products review

You can shop Scunci's range online here, or at selected Claire's, Boots, Superdrug or Urban Outfitters stores. I know I really need to make more of an effort with my hair this Summer, and browsing their hair-styling collection and Instagram account has definitely given me some inspiration!

Have you tried anything from Scunci before? What's your go-to hairstyle for Summer? Got any top tips for HOT Festival hair you can share with us?

*This post contains items I was gifted, but as always, every mad rambling opinion you'll read in here is my own.

The sun's FINALLY pulled his finger out and put his hat on - hooray! Summer is here - and now, cue the people who were moaning about it being too cold starting to moan that it's too hot, haha! Not me though, I love Summer and the sunbathing opportunities, beach days, longer nights and blue skies more than anything. Even cheese

You may also know that I love a good tan too - my idea of heaven is lying on a beach in the Mediterranean, baking away for a couple of weeks. Safely, mind - don't forget your SPF. But up until this recent, sunny burst of weather, I've had to fake it with various mousses, creams and sprays; which is pretty time consuming and admittedly, does need quite a lot of maintenance. But then along came Zhuzh! - helping me get the most of the UK rays for a deeper, natural tan - quicker.

Zhuzh! Tan Accelerator Collection from Ideal World Review

These Zhuzh! products are from Ideal World and are a fantastic way to achieve your maximum tan potential, but safely; as they can be used with SPF [though the products themselves don't contain it.]

I was more than excited when these fab products arrived on my doorstep, as aside from seeing those old wrinkly people with leather skin legit smother themselves in carrot oil; I never knew that there were products that could be used safely to accelerate your tan. And not end up looking like a walking leather handbag.

No matter what you're doing or where you are, working a little Zhuzh! into your daily skincare regime helps your skin to make the most of the daylight it's exposed to; rapidly accelerating your natural tanning rate. You might have festivals and exotic holidays planned - or you might be working to a tighter budget [like me] and just making the most of the British Summertime in the local park or in your garden - regardless, these products are Summer LIFESAVERS that'll leave you bronzed and glowing!

Zhuzh! Tan Accelerator, 200ml* £15.99 - or grab a twin pack of this miracle spray for just £22.99

This little beauty RIGHT HERE is totally different to any other tanning product I've heard of or tried before. Spritz this quickly absorbed, non-greasy dreamboat of a product on and it'll work with the melanin in your skin to boost the speed of your tanning process - meaning you can spend less time in the sun and more time enjoying your surroundings.

It's such a high performance product that it's not just meant for when you're sunbathing or on holiday abroad; you can also use it in natural UK daylight and still see results! Pop it on if you're in the garden, off shopping with the girls or nipping to Tesco for some wine - it's literally a product that'll save you more time than you could ever imagine and works even harder than you do to get you that glowing complexion of dreams!

Once you've worked it into your daily skincare regime, you'll never look back. It's truly a gamechanger. I've barely even been outside recently, but yet I've still managed to develop a bit of colour on my arms using this!

Zhuzh! Cool Zhuzh! Spritz 100ml*, £9.99

To all of you who get a bit hot and bothered in the sun - this spray is for you! Cool down and hydrate dry, hot skin with this super refreshing mist. Containing cooling Aloe Vera and Menthol for ultimate refreshment; this handy little bottle of Spritz also boasts Shea Butter and Vitamin E to moisturise and anti-oxidise skin.

Zhuzh! Tan Accelerator Collection from Ideal World Review

Spritz a little of this hero product onto your body and face when you're feeling the heat and let it do it's thang - refreshing, hydrating and cooling your skin to prevent dry patches or irritation. A definite essential for handbags, beachbags and suitcases!

Zhuzh! Tan Accelerator Collection from Ideal World Review

Zhuzh! Tan Lock and Saver 200ml*, £15.99 - or grab a twin pack of this glorious spray for just £22.99

When you've worked hard at your tan, you know there's nothing more soul destroying than watching it fade away or peel off. Keep your glow for as long as possible by spritzing on the Zhuzh! Tan Lock and Saver. This spray gives you a super fine mist of oil, which is suitable for use on all skin types and absorbs straight into your tan. It locks in moisture, leaves your skin feeling frigging fantastic and reawakens dull patches. It's not greasy at all and it smells gorgeous.

Plus for those who also have a fondness for spending most of their days in the bath [like me] this stuff actually doubles up as a luxurious, moisturising spa bath too. Tanning and time in the tub are two of most my favourite past times ever [probably again, even more than nibbling on cheese] so this is fantastic news for my life!

Zhuzh! Tan Accelerator Collection from Ideal World Review

Zhuzh! The Best Of Both Tans Gradual Self Tan and Tan Accelerator, 200ml*, £15.99

This luxury daily moisturiser contains both gradual self tanning ingredients and Zhuzh!'s unique tan accelerating formula. It's seriously clever, fluffy and hydrating stuff - giving you perfect skin.

Apply it daily for soft nourished skin, a subtle [non-biscuitty or orange] glow and to accelerate your own natural tan simultaneously. FYI - There is the same amount of tan accelerator active ingredients in a 200ml tube as there is in a 200ml bottle of Tan Accelerator.

As I mentioned above, it's self tanning - but not as you [probably] know it. This classy black packaging is home to a formula which contains just a smidge of self tan, which takes a few days to develop and comes out very gradually. This leaves you disaster free [I think we've all had at least one fake tan DISASTER in our lives!] and in complete control of your tan. And whilst you're self tanning, don't forget that the tan accelerating ingredients will be boosting your natural pigment too - to promote your own deeper natural tan when your skin is exposed to sunlight.

The self tan element is very gradual. It's not designed for people who want an instant fake tan, but for people who really do want to build it gradually and work on their natural tan at the same time – perfect for people who don’t want to be white on the beach on the first day of their holiday, and then achieve a seamless transition between fake and natural colour.

Zhuzh! Tan Accelerator Collection from Ideal World Review

Don't forget you can grab excellent deals on the full Zhuzh! line and plenty of other beauty products at Ideal World this Summer - on Sky 654, Freeview 22, Virgin 747, Freesat 812 and at www.idealworld.tv

Okay so life, bad health, running from life's responsibilities and unscheduled napping have meant I'm a little behind in posting this review ... but as always with Little Known Box; it's worth the wait. Soz gang.

It's a publicly known fact that I LOVE Little Known Box and always will do. I harp on about them all the time, obsess over the beaut new products they introduce me to and last month, I also gave away some of their boxes to three lucky followers to celebrate this amazing company's first birthday! <3

Here's a closer look at what we were treated to in this month's curation of little known brands and hot-off-the-press product releases:

Betty Hula Body Moisturiser, Full Size, 120ml

Every single Betty Hula product has been made by hand [which is next-level productivity, given how amazing and popular this brand is online!] using all natural ingredients and none of them nasty parabens. I love the bright glass packaging of this moisturiser - it epitomises Summer and the fragrance? Bloody hell it's nice.

Little Known Box May 2017 Birthday Edition Review

I was treated to the Rum & Blackcurrant fragrance and it smells gorgeous. Like Summery, boozy nights with the girls [drinking rum cocktails out of coconut shells], holidays, sun cream and happiness

It's a lovely, fluffy consistency which applies really nicely. It's great for use with stretch marks, scarring, dry patches of skin, oily skin and for soothing sun burn. So for pretty much every human / skin type going.

Oils of Heaven Organic Face Oil, Travel Size, 15ml

I've tried this brand before and really loved how lux their facial oils are, so it was nice to see them featured again. I shied away from oils for a long time; thinking they would make my sick joke of an oily complexion even worse - but this isn't the case. All skin types need love, guys.

Little Known Box May 2017 Birthday Edition Review

The oils used in this product are sourced from small suppliers across the world. It contains organic argan oil cold-pressed from argan kernals, with Vitamin E and essential fatty acids that help skin retain its natural moisture.

And I love the mini glass packaging & OOH! branding, let's not lie.

Spacemasks Face Mask, Full Size [1 Mask]

Spacemasks are a newly launched product, which work to relax you; giving you a way to escape the hectic struggles of day-to-day life and let go of your frustrations. Each foil packet contains a jasmine infused Spacemask; which you pop on over your eyes to relax, recover and re-energise for about 15 minutes. Really obvious pun coming here guys, sorry - but these masks are out of this world.

Little Known Box May 2017 Birthday Edition Review

I love the design of the actual mask itself; it's really high quality and has little ear loops to keep it secure on your face. It's not like any mask I've tried before. Similar to the Optrex eye masks I tried a while back, Spacemasks too have a super clever self-heating function that I just can't figure out

They're so relaxing, I honestly can't recommend you try one enough. And that's coming from me, too - I have a really hard time switching off and having some me-time.

Seacret Spa makes use of the pure, potent power of the Dead Sea in their luxurious, natural products. Their collection of skin and spa products embody salts and minerals found in the Dead Sea itself. Nanshy Large Blending Brush, Full Size

So, from the moment I clapped eyes on this brush; I fell deeply and heavily in love with it. It's THE perfect sized, softest blending brush ever and it's ideal to work colour into the creases of the eye and blend out harsh lines. I've used it pretty much every day since it arrived in my life and its multi-purpose appeal has captured my [otherwise stone cold] heart.

Technic Cosmetics Highlighter, Full Size

Now, you'll ALL KNOW that I love this brand - I'm actually working with them again as we speak and I recently posted [here and here] about their affordable yet high quality beauty products. Which are also cruelty free. But this highlighter, in Pink Sparkle, is a brand new release from them and OH MY HELL it's beautiful. Like, words actually fail me. BONUS ITEM
Makeup Pouch, Full Size

This cute little makeup pouch was a bonus item in this month's Birthday Bonanza Box - and it'll be super useful for popping makeup tools like tweezers, nail scissors, kirby grips and pencil sharpeners in; so they don't get lost in the mass of my makeup stash.

Little Known Box May 2017 Birthday Edition Review

It's super simple and minimalistic; just how I like my life. I'm always short of makeup bags to be honest - I just normally rely on this one huge one I got from Primark to do the job - so this will definitely be useful in helping organise my beauty regime and tools on the move.

I also like that despite the bag having no labels or logos, you can look at it and instantly associate it with Little Known Box - as it carries their black and gold branding scheme <3

I was really made up with this month's box - personal highlights for me were getting to try Spacemasks, the beautifully fluffy Nanshy blending brush and that insanely pigmented, stunning highlighter from one of my all time faves Technic

I love how co-ordinated each month's edition of LKB is and how each time you receive this perfectly wrapped bundle of beauty and joy, you can feel how much work and passion is behind it all. And that's why I love this consistently fantastic subscription box SO much.
