I love Little Known Box - everything about them, in fact [in a non-stalker way.] I love their stunning packaging, their faultless delivery, their ethos of supporting lesser known brands & products and the amount of thought you can tell goes into each month's edit. The fact that all the products and brands in their monthly subscription box are vegan friendly and cruelty free is just the icing on the cake for an overall amazing experience

If you read my blog, follow my Twitter or like the odd photo of mine on Insta, you'll know that I've been working with LKB for a few months now - and there's yet to be a box arrive on my doorstep that I've been disappointed in. You can check out my previous 2017 box reviews here and here too, if you don't believe me. They're frigging awesome, guys. And so is their March 2017 box*.

This month's edit, 'Step Into Spring', focuses on beautiful fragrances and pretty, pastel shades to help get us in the mood for the warmer weather ahead. Which is more than fine by me - I adore Spring / Summer and I can't wait to see the back of this Winterish Hell that's seemed to have lasted forever.

In terms of makeup, March's box contains a beautiful lilac beauty blender and a pretty sheer coral lipstick, to add a pop of colour to your makeup bag. Skincare wise, the gang at LKB HQ have picked out a unique, handcrafted soap and a beautifully fragranced sugar scrub for us to try out.

And finally, as hands and feet often get a bit neglected over the colder months, this month's edit also contains a pretty pastel nail polish and a professional top coat; to keep your look in place. I love trying new makeup & nail products, so this month's offerings are right up my street; nestled in their beautifully minimal black and gold packaging.

First Product  : Saturated Colour Sheer Stick in 'Breezy Coral', Full Size

Just look at that colour - perfect for fresh faced, dewy Spring makeup. This vegan friendly AND cruelty free Sheer Tinted Balm adds just a smidge of colour to your lips - it's more like, a dead posh tinted lip balm than a full on lipstick. Which is ideal for wear in the warmer weather - it's not going to pure melt off your face or smudge everywhere. Due to its light, sheer formula, you can apply it safely on the go - even without a mirror; you literally can't go wrong with this stuff.

I can't wait to work this into my makeup routine asap - it's perfect for a light splash of fresh festive colour at the beach, in the park or in the office. But out of those three locations, we all know where we'd rather NOT have to be repping this fresh sheer shade, don't we?! Contains Vitamin E, Jojoba Oil and menthol flavouring to pamper your pout on the go. LOVE.

Second Product : Bloomtown Botanicals Sugar Scrub, Mini Jar

Wow, so I didn't expect this to be the case; but I actually think this is my favourite product overall from this month's LKB. I frigging love it. I love its packaging, I love how bloody beautiful it smells, I love its texture and I love that it's a sugar scrub! I use sugar scrubs religiously as I heart the way they leave my skin feeling; so I'm pretty much ready to marry this one now, tbh.

This is 'The Woods' Sweet Almond and Shea Sugar Scrub; which has a fresh, natural fragrance. I can't place it - but it smells like memories of somewhere I've been before and loved; possibly the posh cottages we stayed in recently for my friend's wedding. I find its aroma so, so relaxing. It's free from palm oil, SLS, parabens and synthetic colours, meaning that everyone can get involved with this aromatherapy infused little babe.

Third Product :  Edge Nails 5-Star Top Coat, Full Size

Edge Nails aren't a company I've heard of before, but after reading a bit more about them, I bloody wish I had! They offer a wide range of professional quality nail products, at affordable, realistic prices. Which you know I'm AAAAALL about - I love a good bargain, what with the poverty stricken excuse of a life I lead atm. This Top Coat, for example, retails for just £2.34. HOW AMAZING IS THAT?

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Review of March 2017 Little Known Box Beauty Subscription Service

Top Coats always come in useful, especially when you have nails that are as brittle, sh*te and temperamental as mine; so this is another product I'll be getting loads of use out of this Spring.

How can you look at this and a] not fall deeply in love with it or b] think of anything other than Spring? This Beauty Blender is a stunning pastel lilac shade; which is complemented by its floral, vintage inspired packaging [that's just almost too pretty to cope with!] It's Latex free and infused with Vitamin E, so as well as blending your makeup a dream, it'll also help moisturise your skin.

I don't think a girl can ever have too many blending sponges. This little beauty is perfectly shaped to get into all the hard-to-reach areas of your face and give you the flawless base we all crave. Wet it before use for maximum effectiveness.

Fifth Product : Soapsmith Handmade Soap, Travel Size

I'm proper taken by this brand and definitely want to visit them if I'm ever down Laaaaaandan Town way. Soapsmith are based in central London and their handcrafted soaps are inspired by London's most characteristic places; with 9 different fragrances available to buy. The scent in this month's LKB is 'Marble Arch' which is a truly unique fragrance combining vanilla, sweet orange oils, saffron and Patchouli essential oils.

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Review of March 2017 Little Known Box Beauty Subscription Service

From the moment I opened this month's box I could smell this soap - it's incredible. Again, the smell really reminds me of something, but I can't put my finger on what. I legit can't stop sniffing it, though! And of course, anything marble [be it stationery, homeware, blog backdrops or... soap] is oh so blogger and therefore essential to my life.

LKB have picked out nude, feminine shades from HJ Manicure's Nail Polish Collection for this month's edit. The three available colours are perfect for a] the Spring months b] daily wear and c] to use with your new Edge Nails Top Coat. Although the other shades available look beaut, I'm made up I got this lilac one - partly, because it matches the beauty blender and I'm feelin oh-so-coordinated right now and also, because I've wanted a nail polish this colour for ages. It's the cutest, pastel shade to show off your tan.

Happy #FakeTanThursday gang! And what better way to celebrate this emotional, game changing day of the week than with news of a fab new Bondi Sands product - which will take you from Pale Gail to Tanned Tracey [it probably sounds more glam to describe Tanned Trace as something more along the lines of a bronzed beach goddess, but I've committed to the names now] in a matter of hours. Yes, your eyes aren't deceiving you - Bondi Sands Ultra Dark Self Tanning Foam* is here and available to purchase in the UK; so drop everything and get down to Boots / Superdrug immediately

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Bondi Sands Fake Tan Ultra Dark Self Tanning Foam Review

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Bondi Sands Fake Tan Ultra Dark Self Tanning Foam Review

I love Bondi Sands' fake tan - especially their foams. I find them so easy to apply and I get consistently natural - yet sunkissed - results with all of their products. There's no orange Wotsit legs / Donald Trump-face blunders with Bondi Sands; the end look is always cool toned and natural looking, rather than a warm, firey toned disaster [soz not soz Donald!] I also love the coconut infused fragrance - it's so much of a step up from the 'eau de biscuit' phase we all went through with fake tan.

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Bondi Sands Fake Tan Ultra Dark Self Tanning Foam Review

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Bondi Sands Fake Tan Ultra Dark Self Tanning Foam Review

Applying Bondi Sands Ultra Dark follows pretty much the exact same steps I detailed in my last over-enthusiast post declaring my love for these guys [you can have a read here] but to recap, in order to get the best possible results from your fake tan experience, you should follow these steps:

1. Prep prep prep
Make sure you're nice & exfoliated pre-#FakeTanThursday and that there's no residual moisturiser / other skincare products lingering on your skin. You don't want to end up in Patch Town or Streak City, so don't forget this step!

2. Get ur tan on
Get pumping on that bottle girl - it's tan time! Time for the magic to happen. I usually apply my fake tan with plastic gloves, but Bondi Sands sent me one of their tanning mitts* which is one of the best I've tried in my adult life, so I'd recommend that too.

Remember to be careful when applying tan to your hands, feet, knees and elbows. Only use residual foam from your mitt on these areas - if you go in too hard, you could end up having a shocker. Like that time I dyed my hands a deep mahogany shade and had to scrub them with bleach for hours.

3. Have a nap
Solid life advice right there. For all situations. But in all seriousness, you need to leave your tan on to develop for around six hours; so you're best off doing it before you go to bed for the night, before showering the stain off in the morning. The longer you leave it, the deeper your tan will be.

Oh and if you're looking to become the ULTIMATE Tanned Tracey [perhaps ahead of a holiday, hot date or night out with the girls] apply another coat of Bondi Sands around 30 minutes after your initial application. But with this product already being Ultra Dark, you probably won't need to.

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Bondi Sands Fake Tan Ultra Dark Self Tanning Foam Review

Here's my #BondiSands Ultra Dark before and after shots - you can defo tell the difference, right?! I've gone from Casper the [Un]Friendly Ghost to a rich shade of mahogany that my Ikea furniture would be proud of. I absolutely love it - the deepest, most consistent tan I've tried to date. And it's a cool toned tan, which avoids any of that 'looking-like-an-oompa-lumpa' kinda business. I'd go as far as to say this is my most favourite fake tan of all time.

Before...

After...

My obsession with Bondi Sands grows and grows - I have been so, so impressed with every single product I've tried from their range [and let's face it, that's been the majority of their collection] and they're a brand I'd definitely recommend to everyone and anyone; regardless of your experience levels when it comes to achieving a professional glow from home. This is the best one so far for me, the deeper colour is EVERYTHING and it applies so evenly.

Make sure you're following their socials guys - I can't wait to see what they've got lined up for Summer. No doubt it's going to involve stunning tans, hot weather and all the SS17 inspo I could ever ask for. #LifeGoals.

*This post contains items I was gifted, but all opinions are 100% my own. I wouldn't lie to you guys - especially about something as important as fake tan!

It's officially Spring [though I did do a monumental boo boo and actually got the first day of Spring wrong on Instagram the other day - oops] and I'm legit buzzin'. I love Spring - I can't cope with all the wintery gloom and darkness and cold. I'm all about those blue skies, warm sunny afternoons, baby lambs, daffodils and Easter Eggs. Especially Easter Eggs. And eggs in general too, I guess - can't beat a bitta scrambled egg on toast can you?

ANYWAY before I start rambling on about how sublime a good egg is, I found a Springtime tag to fill in and that's why I'm here. If you wanna get to know me a bit better and have a nose into my [lack of] Spring lifestyle, keep on reading.

I promise I'll simmer down about eggs [maybe.]

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - The Spring Tag SS17

1. Favourite spring nail polish?
Cliché, but I always reach for pastel shades during the warmer weather. I love baby blue, pastel pink, mint or white nails when I have a tan [and even if the weather's crap, I'll always have my Bondi Sands Ultra Dark to pretend otherwise!]

2. What is your must-have lip colour this spring?
I love baby pinks and bright, shocking magenta shades during the Summer. Yes, I am that basic.

I'd love to rock a lilac lip, but the colour just doesn't suit me; it either makes my teeth look like sweetcorn or my face look like it died about six years ago.

3. Show us your favourite spring dress!
No soz, I can't - this quiz assumes that I have a normal, non-poverty stricken life, but that's not the case. All my sh*t's long gone on eBay. I have about 6 vest tops and a coat.

4. What's your favourite flower?
You know what, I've been really feeling Tulips recently. Not literally, I'm not some kind of sick plant pervert.

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - The Spring Tag SS17

5. Favourite spring scarf/accessory?
Probably waist belts, to give my Michellin Man-esque stomach a bit of definition in my floaty Spring clothes. Which I've yet to buy. Urgh #PovertyProbz

6. What spring trend[s] are you most excited about this year? [Makeup, fashion or both!]
I'm not really clued up on the latest trends this year to be honest, I've been a bit of a hermit. I'm looking forward to putting my coat in the bin and dusting off my flip flops though. And the possibility of brushing my hair.

7. Favourite spring candle?
Don't disown me, but I don't really have one. I have some candles like - and they smell bloody lovely, yeno. But I'm just not mad into them. I did LOVE the Etta French scented candles I was sent around this time last year though, so maybe one of those.

8. Favourite body spray / perfume for spring?
My fave Spring / Summer scents of all time are Vera Wang's Hippie Princess, Zara's Fruity Eau De Parfum and Chloe. However, this Spring I'm armed with a whole host of amazing So...? Body Mists, which are perfect to spritz on hot days and super affordable too. Rose Petals, White Petals and Watermelon are some of my faves.

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - The Spring Tag SS17

9. What is spring like where you live?
The same as it is everywhere else, I'd imagine. Springy. [Yes, I know I'm a sarcastic little sh*t.]

10. What's your favourite thing about spring?
The lighter mornings and longer evenings; all the blue skies and sunshine. I sh*tting hate Winter. Traa!

11. Are you a spring cleaner?
I'm an everything cleaner - a cleaner for all seasons, a cleaner for all times. I do traditionally have a Spring clean around this time yes; but when I'm not lurking on Twitter, in the bath, laughing at my own jokes or asleep, I'm always cleaning anyway.

12. Any plans for spring break or an upcoming vacation?
Not yet. I need a vacay, but I also need to win the Lottery [hard] about three times first. SOB. My only plans thus far are sleeping and perhaps opening the curtains at some point. You jealous, or?

If you want truly heaven sent hair, look no further than Tangle Angel. If it's good enough for Kimmy K, it's definitely good enough for me - she's been pictured using the exact same pink Tangle Angel Brush that I now have [pictured below] and loving life. Just thought I'd throw that in there like, in case my opinion isn't enough to convince you how good these brushes are.

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Tangle Angel and Shine Angel Review

Tangle Angel are a super cool, fun hairbrush brand; who beast out heavenly designs created specifically to detangle wet or dry hair. They have a huuuuuge range of styles and colours available [with new variants being released all the time] - so there's guaranteed to be one Angel to catch your eye.

And your fur baby's, too.

Yep, Tangle Angel have also just released their much anticipated collection designed specifically for pets; the Pet Angel. And I can't cope with how cute that is. Their Pet Angel brushes use the same tried and tested antibacterial and anti static technology as the human brushes (all tested on humans!) meaning they're perfectly to pamper your pooch with.

Anyway, I'm getting distracted there thinking about puppies - let's get back to the babein' brushes I've been trying out. Tangle Angel very kindly gifted me this Precious Pink Tangle Angel Professional Detangling Brush* [RRP £12.95] which you guys have been LOVING over on my Insta and this incredible 60mm Medium Shine Angel Professional Ultra-Shine Brush* [RRP from £13.95.]

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Tangle Angel and Shine Angel Review

What I absolutely love about these innovative brushes is their design - they're ergonomically shaped for ultimate control and precision; their handles are the ideal length and perfectly placed. Grips, grooves and subtle shaping to the brush heads and their handles mean you can easily manage your unruly hair; quickly combating tangles. They give results as amazing as they look

Precious Pink Tangle Angel Professional Detangling Brush

I mean, who doesn't want a brush as beautiful as this? I genuinely feel like such a princess when I sit down to use this pretty pink Tangle Angel and I LOVE it. Using it actually makes brushing my hair seem almost... enjoyable, and I never thought I'd say that! I normally dodge hairbrushes like a pro, but now I've found one which works for me; I can't get enough.

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Tangle Angel and Shine Angel Review
Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Tangle Angel and Shine Angel Review

My new Tangle Angel brush is heat resistant, anti static, water resistant and anti bacterial - meaning I can use it wherever I want - on wet or dry hair. As well as boasting a precision enhancing handle, you can also hold the brush around the edges of the wings; for even greater control. It leaves my hair soft, silky and manageable - with minimal shedding, minimal pain and no breakage.

Antibacterial additives embedded in the brush make it ultra hygienic to use - and I feel comforted knowing that I'm not dragging bacteria and germs through my locks, while I'm brushing them and pretending to be a princess.

Its heat resistant bristles [of varying lengths, so my Tangle Angel can get proper stuck into those knots!] retain their shape even when used under the hairdryer and their anti static properties smooth down those pesky fly-aways. And it's also safe to use with hair extensions, if you're lucky enough to wear them. There's pretty much nothing it can't do and thanks to that, I now use this brush daily.

Shine Angel Anti Static Professional Ultra-Shine Brush, 60mm Medium

I'll be honest, I've fallen deeply in love with this brush. I've never, ever been able to style my hair whilst blow drying it - but since this angelic bad boy glided into my life, I actually can. I feel like such a proper functioning adult / genuine member of society now.

My Shine Angel is part of a range of professional radial styling brushes, that promise to leave hair shiny, bouncy and full of volume after a blow dry. And it lives up to every expectation I could have ever had of it - and more.

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Tangle Angel and Shine Angel Review
Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Tangle Angel and Shine Angel Review

I don't even know where to start with this brush - other than perhaps with a pretty strong statementthat it's my favourite hair styling tool ever. It's so fantastically designed - it honestly works so well, even on my wild bird's nest excuse for hair.

The brush's unique, angled bristle technology gets deep into your hair as you brush it - it's impossible to miss a snag, as you can feel it pulling and smoothing each hair follicle into place. And it even has a sectioning pick on the end of its handle, to make sure that you get that perfect blow dry. It's perfectly designed, with a rubber grip on the handle to give you next level control over your locks.

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Tangle Angel and Shine Angel Review

The Shine Angel's anti static nylon bristles eliminate frizz and seal in moisture, for smooth glossy hair. Even the fluffiest ends of my hair appear smooth once I've used this brush on them - with minimal shedding, no breakage and very little pain; even on the toughest tangles.

And it's not only a detangling, smoothing, professional blow drying tool - my Shine Angel defo lives up to its name and adds noticeable shine to my hair. I didn't believe the hype at first [I'm a sceptical old bag, sometimes!] so I did a little test and brushed half of my hair with the Shine Angel and half with a bog standard brush [as in, a crappy average brush, not a toilet brush!] Immediately, the difference was obvious. My left hand side of hair was glistening and silky smooth, whereas the right was dull and boring as sin.

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Tangle Angel and Shine Angel Review

I absolutely love my new Tangle Angel brushes, and I'd recommend them to anyone and everyone. Especially if you have long or thick hair, like me. Or just fancy playing at being a princess. I can only imagine how cute the pet brushes are IRL - does anyone reading this have one they can show me? Or, failing that, just photos of your fluffy pets that I can weep over as I'm not allowed any in my rented accommodation?
