I've said it once, I've said it twice... in fact, it's pretty much all I ever say - but life is INFINITELY better with a tan. And thanks to the distinct lack of a British Summer we've had this year [and my even more distinct lack of cash, meaning I've not been able to jet off somewhere a bit warm in 2017] my exposure to sunshine has been at an all time low. So I hit the bottle ... no, not that kinda bottle [surprisingly!] - I'm talking about a trusty bottle of Skinny Tan. My other saviour in bottle-form. And this new release of theirs ensures I get my glow-up instantly.
I'm talking about Skinny Tan's new Instant Tanner in Dark* [125ml] which is a bronzing lotion that blesses your body [and face] with an instant 'just-back-from-the-Bahamas' glow. And washes off; after lasting the full day. Think back to the old days of using Rimmel's Sun Shimmer before a night out... it's like that, but a trillion times better.
It doesn't pure streak, it doesn't rub off in weird patches, it doesn't smell weird AF [it smells like tropical coconuts / a holiday in a bottle] and although dark, it's natural looking - without that dreaded orangey-undertone. Soz Rimmel, but let's face it - you did betray me A LOT during my time in Uni; and I'm still pretty bitter about it.

Instant Tanner Dark is basically a darker version of Skinny Tan's bestselling Instant Tan - which I'm all about. I always opt for the darker tanning products when I'm browsing the aisles in Superdrug; tan hard or go home is pretty much my mantra. As well as 'Treat yo'self', 'Yolo' and 'Future-Me-Can-Deal-With-This.' Probably all mantras which contribute to my obscene amount of debt, but as a very [un]wise woman [totes me] once said - YOLO.
This bad boy is perfect for those spur of the moment kinda nights out; when you've not fake tanned in weeks, resemble the walking dead but still desperately wanna get your legs out and throw some serious shapes on a Friday night. You don't have to awkwardly wait whilst your tan develops, you don't end up smelling like a thousand digestive biscuits and it'll still wash off with warm soapy water the next day; should any unfortunate incidents with red wine or Jagermeister happen.
Another fantastic product, another #FakeTanThursday. Definitely a product worth having on hand for those spur of the moment nights out, hot dates, or to disguise desperately pale legs after a winter in tights! You can grab a bottle at Superdrug for £9.99 here.
Have you tried Skinny Tan before? What's your favourite product from their [ever-expanding] vegan range?
