As a new member of #TeamFantastic I have to say - I'm really impressed. This is my second box from them and again, it's spot on. A great curation of products which look well together, work well together, and smash the theme of 'Staycation' outta the (metaophorical) ball park. I can see why these boxes fly out each month, why a subscription is the way forward and exactly why the pre-order option is there - I had so many questions via me Insta when I posted my first look images of this month's edit!
Anyway this isn't the way I normally start a blog post... so let's rewind, get back into the LLL vibe and unbox this fab edit from Look Fantastic together. I will at this point break the news to you however huns, that this month's edit has actually gone and fully sold out due to how fab it is (within like, a matter of what seemed like minutes haha) butttt this post is a great way to see more of the kinda products you'll get if you subscribe. AND don't worry, cos if you dosubscribe this month you'll get an amazing Mystery Box worth over £50 (filled with 6 fantastic beauty treats) delivered directly to your door.
Plus, by subscribing today, you’ll be one of the first to get your hands on the Look Fantastic July Beauty Box next month – worth over £57!
AND if you use code NIKKIABB you'll get 10% off your 6 or 12 month subscription. Sign up here. A 6 month subscription costs just £13.75 a month and a 12 month subscription is only £13.00 a month - and that's before you use code NIKKIABB and get your 10% off. Now - on with the post, the rambling, the 12 million photos and the professions of love you guys are used to from me by now. On the rare occasion I ever post.
SO. June's Look Fantastic box was themed on the idea of a 'Staycation'... pretty apt & very topical right now, given the absolute havoc the Rona is causing across the globe. From the gorgeous, bright travel bag this month's products were encased in - to the colour co-ordinated products, all perfect for taking away with you, this month's edit was another definite winner.
In the line-up, we have a beautifully packaged sun cream and lip SPF product (it's so, so important to wear SPF daily - and not forget your lips!) especially during the summer months, to reduce your risk of damage from the sun's rays. Not only do they increase your risk of skin cancer, the sun's rays prematurely age the skin and make you look older. Which noone wants. If you don't believe me, think of those old people you see on cruises on holiday whose skin looks like literal leather. Many of them aren't even that old, yet they look like they should be hanging in a Louis Vuitton store with handles.

Next up, this month's box (or bag, rly) contains a soothing, beautifully packaged face mask - which are always heaven to relax in after a day's sunbathing by the pool (or local pond, if you're locked down like we all are right now haha!)
And then we move onto my stand out product this month - the Molton Brown bath and shower gel you may have seen me weeping about over on IG Stories. Which I've already ran out of - and will totally repurchase. Why is it my overall fave? It was the scent yeno huns. So, so nice. Quite a masculine, aftershave-esque fragrance - but the exact kinda fragrance I like in a bath product. Sorta spicey, peppery yet relaxing and water-esque - if you can picture the vibe I'm getting at here. Also, Molton Brown's bubbles last longer than any other bubble bath I've tried - as does the fragrance, and although quite a high price point, I will defo repurchase this stuff shortly.

Lastly, we move onto hair products - again, both of which are total staples for when you're on holiday. We have a cute, handy-sized detangling brush (perfect for brushing through pool-side hair - mine goes MENTAL with all the chlorine and salty sea water) and this intriguing Josh Wood Colour Mask for hair. Sun exposure, sea salt and chlorine can damage ya locks - and turn bleached hair like mine to an odd brassy shade of yellowy-green, so a reparative product like this (to leave in whilst you sit in your hotel room in a towel eating crisps) is 100% necessary. I haven't used this yet, but I'm v. excited to, as my hair is deadder than my social life right now. IE COMPLETELY ON ITS ARSE.
If we weren't all being locked down and quarantined by that bitch Ms Rona, this month's edit would be getting packed in my suitcase ready for a summer holiday pronto. Every single product is one you'd use when away - or, I guess, here if you're having a staycation in your garden. It's one of the most well-put together edits I've had I think - it's properly got me thinking of summer and holidays abroad with bags (and bags) of paprika crisps and aftersun, chilling in the hotel before going out for a meal. AND I'M EMOSH.
What did you think of this month's edit? Do you subscribe to Look Fantastic?
