Hey gang. Apologies for the silence on the old blog recently - it's just given everything that's happened in the world this week and the tragedy at the MEN Arena, nothing that I've had to say has seemed relevant or important enough to publish online. I still feel a bit like this now - here's me showcasing a lovely new product I've got and this pure glamorous lifestyle [though this part is defo deception at it's finest, I'm currently over my overdraft and all I have to eat is Smart Price pasta] whilst other people have tragically lost their lives this week. You feel me?

But at the same time, we can't late hate and fear win; so for this reason, I'm going to get back into posting this week. I will never forget any of the attacks that have happened to innocent people all around the world and I'll always be here to offer support to anyone that needs it; following such evil events. But whilst doing this, I'll also be repping a glowing [albeit fake] bronzed look; thanks to my new favourite bronzer from Benefit. Which is what I want to ramble onto you guys about today.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer

My friend and her gf recently moved halfway down the country; and when they were attempting to downsize ahead of the move, they passed on a huge bag of makeup they didn't want to me. Safe to say it was like blogger Christmas in my gaff that night.

And in this plazzy bag of triumph was a little sample of Benefit's Hoola Bronzer which I instantly fell deeply in love with. I know why I haven't tried much Benefit before - and that's cos I'm poor and their prices defo don't sit within my budget - but this bronzer broke my poverty ban. It's so soft and blendable - and works fantastically well for contouring, too. So I hopped over to QVC [my new obsession] and ordered myself the full size pot.

Could I afford it? No. Can I afford to eat now? Also no. But it's so bloody good, it's almost worth the intense levels of poverty I'm living in. I have to admit, for the price of the product [£19 or something] I had hoped for a bigger pot. And the brush it comes with is [in my opinion] pretty sh*t. But it gives such a natural looking, soft and not at all orange finish that I can't really be mad about these two downsides.
