love Vichy. Discovering their amazing range of skincare was a total gamechanger in refreshing my somewhat dull, oily complexion [#FIT] - and for those days when the grim seeps through, their Dermablend full coverage range masks it perfectly. So when I heard they had released a NEW range of skincare products for use on the body, I was keener than... erm.. Roy Keane to get involved.

Vichy Laboratories have created a body care range which offers much more than just hydration. These brand new products are a first from Vichy [which I was so excited about, as you'll already be aware of how much I love their Dermablend range and Clay facemasks] which take active ingredients traditionally used in skincare and combine them with 10 luxurious oils; to help us achieve firmer, smoother and more radiant skin, all over.

As with all Vichy skincare products, at the heart of the Ideal Body formula lies Vichy's exclusive Mineralizing Thermal Water; which boasts 15 active minerals to strengthen the skin's moisture barriers and protect it from external aggressors, leaving it looking healthy and glowing. Ideal Body also combines 10 emollient and omega rich oils, packed with antioxidants to replenish the skin.

Vichy's exclusive Ideal Body formula combines Apricot Kernel, Passionflower, Corn, Rice Bran, Sunflower, Blackcurrant Pips, Rosehip, Coriander, Macademia & Jojoba oils with LHA [which is well known for its smoothing and unifying properties] and Hyaluronic Acid; which is renowned for its hydrating and plumping properties.

This beautiful collection will be available from Boots nationwide and at www.boots.com [#comingsoon.] Here's a couple of products from the range, tried and tested over the past couple of weeks.

Vichy Ideal Body Hand & Nail Cream, 40ml, rrp £7.50*
The skin on my hands dries up an absolute treat. Like, if I don't treat it well, it gets all cracked like the Sahara desert; and my skin resembles a 90 year old lizard's. And my nails - lol, don't even get me started on them. They're so flaky, they should come in a yellow and purple chocolate wrapper [okay, that was a HORREND attempt at a joke... but you see what I was trying to do there? Right? A Cadbury's Flake bar? Please say you do and I don't sound like the village crazy?! Haha.] So this product is perfect for me - plus it has a SPF too; which is handy in further protecting my haggard hands.

Not only is it insanely Instagrammable, this hand and nail cream smells glorious too. Kind of a vanilla-y, floral, cocoa butter esque fragrance that I can't quite put my finger on, but is super pretty and relaxing. Paraben free and suitable for sensitive skin, this cream promises to make the skin on your hands look younger - which it definitely does; leaving your skin soft, hydrated and with a satin-esque sheen.

A little goes a long way with this stuff - don't be deceived, you only need a small amount of product to feed your hands with nourishment & nutrition. The cream isn't too heavy in its formula, so your hands aren't left greasy or slippery [making it ideal to apply anywhere - even for when I'm typing away at work, as my fingers don't pure fly everywhere after!]  but you're left feeling like you've used the thickest cream / mask ever; as your skin feels so great. Even after my first couple of times using this, my hands felt so much smoother - it's a must have for dry, winter skin.

Ideal Body Dry Oil, 100ml, rrp £20.00*
This multi-purpose, versatile DREAMBOAT of a product can be used on your body, face AND hair. Oil Body / Skin / Hair care products are everywhere at the moment - and for good reason! They're nourishing, repairing and just about the definition of total babes. Even if you have oily skin [rather like myself and my delightful, shiny t-zone] these oils can still be your new bae, without turning you into a walking oil slick. In fact, many of them mattify and brighten your complexion, rather than cause the utter hell and turmoil I used to imagine when I first heard about face oils.

I love everything about this product. Even after my first use, where I spritzed it over my legs [which are prone to dry skin patches] - I could feel the benefit straight away and my skin felt great the next day. To look at it, I guess you might just think - oh, it's a spray on moisturiser - but it's so much more of an experience than that.

The glass bottle and beautifully thought out branding gives the product such a lux feel. It doesn't look like your average bodycare product - this stunning bottle looks like a super high-end facial cream or something, it's beautiful. The silver spray top gently spritzes out a light mist of oil, so you don't waste any product or end up unbelievably slippery with oil.

The oil smells lovely; a little cocoa-ey, I'd say. The scent reminds me of holidays and Summer's past - which I'm aaaaaalll about. It gives your skin an instant gleam, shimmer & smoothness - it makes freshly [fake] tanned legs look uh-mazing! I'll definitely be applying some of this to mine before I go out next - for sexy, light catching, jaw dropping pins. And of course, I can't wait to use this in Summer, when there's an actual reason to expose my legs to daylight / other humans! Can't cope with this winter malarky, me.

Have you heard about Vichy's new Ideal Body range? What's your favourite Vichy product? What do you think of these?
