I've been using Vichy skincare for most of 2016 - and I can safely say that I won't ever go back to the dark, before times that I used to call a 'skincare regime.' This 'regime' mainly consisted of babywipes, moisturiser and the main component of the whole thing - hope; just hoping that my skin wouldn't go mental the next day.

Since discovering Vichy's Normaderm range quite by chance via a Boots sample earlier this year, I've remained loyal to them and never looked back - and my skin looks at least 400% better for it. I've tried all kinds of lotions and potions when it comes to keeping my big old shiny face in order, but I always come back to my love [Vichy obv, and the excuse to throw in a bangin Samantha Mumba lyric.] I've adored using this new clay mask from Vichy over the past few weeks and the introduction of this La Roche-Posay Unifant as a primer in my makeup routine has strengthened all the good groundwork that Vichy puts into my skin tenfold.

Recently, the very lovely Abbey at Vichy / L'Oreal HQ sent me out some of Vichy's new look Dermablend makeup to try, and I was super excited - [so much so, that you may have seen sneak peeks of these goodies on  my Snapchat {love_lippy} and Instagram already] - to get involved. Dermablend is high coverage foundation, designed for covering acne breakouts. And although that situation is now firmly under control for me, I'm taking no chances.

My expectations and hopes were high when I started testing these products out a few weeks ago ... but did expectation meet reality with Dermablend?

In short - of course it did; one of the three products pictured above has actually become one of my favourite beauty products of all time. But before I jump in with pure spoilers & tell you which one, let me tell you a little more about the new Dermablend collection.

Dermablend did exist prior to me discovering it, but it's recently had a bit of a makeover and come back better than ever - with a sleek new look and new shades available. It's recommended by Dermatologists and loved by MUAs - for good reason, too. Dermablend is expert high coverage foundation, which helps cover any minor or severe skin concerns that you may have. Its formula has a high concentration of pigments which provide better coverage than normal foundation, but which is still ultra blendable to give natural, flawless results.

The extensive Dermablend range features high coverage yet incredibly lightweight products which help conceal skin concerns and provide instant, professional looking coverage - from top to toe. The range includes their bestselling Fluid Corrective Foundation [16 hour wear], the award winning Corrective Stick [14 hour wear], the Corrective Compact Cream [12 hour wear], their Total Body Corrective Foundation [16 hour wear - something I'm desperate to try now!!] and Setting Powder; which strengthens and extends the hold of these coverage products. You can pick any of these products up in larger Boots stores, at Boots online, from leading pharmacies nationwide and from www.my-dermacenter.com/en-uk/ too.

Dermablend Setting Powder*, rrp £16 [currently on offer at Boots for £11.25]

This fab hypoallergenic Setting Powder reinforces the hold of your foundation for up to 16 hours; giving you a matte and natural looking result. The tub is a good size and comes with a plastic inner to stop it spilling out; plus a little applicator.

I've removed the top of the powder case for these photos, as I wanted to show off exactly what's inside. This universal, one-shade-suits-all, translucent powder is super lux and has a really rich and soft texture - it's like velvet. It defo helps hold your foundation in place and its 100% translucency helps define and maintain your carefully crafted highlight / contouring, too; rather than masking it. Super lightweight, great for oily skin.

Dermablend Corrective Stick in the shade Opal*, rrp £15 [currently on offer at Boots for £11.25]

This concealer is bae. No word of a lie. It rocks a super high level of coverage and is ideal for covering any area of skin you're unhappy with. Plus, although it's long lasting, water resistant and hides a wide multitude of sins [ie my whole face] it isn't pure heavy or oily in its consistency. Magic.

I quite often lean towards a liquid concealer these days, but discovering this Correcting Stick has made me firmly appreciate cream concealers again. Its coverage is that great that you could quite easily wear this as a foundation on its own; it blends soooo well.

Dermablend Fluid Corrective Foundation in the shade Opal*, rrp £18 [currently on offer for £13.50 at Boots]

For me, this foundation is by far the standout piece from the collection. It's an absolute game changer, and the only foundation I'll buy from now on. Its coverage is unreal; like, proper next level. This shade is Opal, and I think I could get away with the Nude shade in it, too [a slightly darker tone.]

Despite it being an insanely high coverage foundation, it's not heavy or greasy at all in its formula. I initially thought this would be like those mousse foundations that leave a cake-like texture on your skin, in order to promise such great results. Nope - in fact, it's quite the opposite - the smallest blob of this Correcting Fluid Foundation goes the longest way; so despite the bottle looking a little small, I am confident that it will last me for many, many weeks to come.

I was overcome with emotion the first time I used this, with the difference that I saw to my skin. After applying it, I've barely needed to touch concealer to be honest - it's that good. I regard this product as one of my ultimate beauty finds of 2016 and cannot recommend it enough - especially if you have oily or acne prone skin.

The full Dermablend collection is paraben free, long lasting, tested on sensitive skin and hypoallergenic - so everyone can benefit from its unreal coverage. Vichy can do no wrong for me at the moment - hats off to you, guys!
