One of my favourite things about starting a new calendar month [other than payday] is knowing that there'll be a new edition of Little Known Box to perve on. And February 2017's edit, 'Spa Night*', has once again, slayed seriously hard. It's a lovely, relaxing curation of cute, girly and natural products; which has got me thinking of Spring in a big way. And also baths. [I approximate that I spend at least 85% of the time I'm awake in the tub. #YOLO]
This month's box gives us an excuse to relax, shake off those winter blues and pamper ourselves with a spa experience from home. February 2017's edit includes a beautiful Miss Patisserie Cupcake Melt to help you relax and unwind, plus a [bonus item] Friendly Soap to clean and revitalise. Once your mind and body are nice and pampered, the ECOCARE face wipes and MONU Skin Recovery Balm found nestling in that iconic black tissue paper are there to give you a luxury, professional facial.
And post-spa sesh, the fab FRUU Lip Balm and Witch Lash Mascara in this month's curation are on hand to preen & pamper yourself for when you're ready to leave the house again; all zen and chill.
The products Little Known Box include in their subscription are cruelty free - and the majority are also vegan friendly too. I think it's really nice to find and support lesser known brands who follow these principles, rather than give all your hard earned cash to corporate companies who are only interested in making that ££ and less about the happiness of fluffy pets.
So with this amazing company ethos in mind, let's crack on so I can show you exactly what's in this month's edit; so you can better understand product wise why I love these boxes so much.
Miss Patisserie Cupcake Bath Melt, Full Size
I legit cannot cope with how cute this product is. It looks good enough to eat - with a pretty flower petal focal point, surrounded by subtle glitter [though I wouldn't advise having a nibble on it, no matter how edible it looks!] I used this in the bath the other day, and it was lovely. It gently melted and fizzed into a shimmery, moisturising bath that left my skin feeling soft and hydrated. And smelt really nice.
All Miss Patisserie products are cruelty free and handmade in Wales; using the finest all natural ingredients. Their range includes bath bombs, coffee scrubs [which I'm game as a badger to try], face masks, lip balms, soap, sugar scrubs and more! A brand who have definitely earned a place in my heart.

ECOCARE Organic Face Wipes, Full Size
I frigging LOVE the packaging of these wipes - it's so much prettier than other face wipes I've used; which have a pure boring, clinical theme going on. These clever soothing wipes are biodegradable, cruelty free, sustainable and organic - so I don't feel guilty at all using them. Years worth of watching Grimefighters on PickTV has shown me the menace of wipes and the fact they never disintegrate and block everything up; often leading to sewage disasters.
From the moment this month's box arrived, I've been using these wipes to quickly remove my makeup [especially my mascara at night.] They really are effective at removing your makeup after a long day, I'm super impressed tbh. I don't normally go for scented face wipes, but these smell a little like Turkish Delight; so I'm more than happy to smother my face in them!

MONU Skin Recovery Balm, Travel Size, 25ml
I can't wait to slot this luxury skincare product properly into my daily routine. MONU use only the best of nature in their rich formulas; plants, herbs, minerals and essential oils. This balm is suitable for all skin types [including sensitive or stressed skin] and free from parabens.
MONU are against animal testing and are considerate to the environment, which once again earns them a big tick from me. You'll often find their products in luxury hotels, spas and salons; so I feel like I've made it in life rn, having this tube in my home!

Medusa's Makeup Mascara, Full Size
I love the packaging and design of this product - I'm pretty hooked on trying new mascaras, tbh. This Witch Lash Mascara [aside from making me channel my inner Sabrina The Teenage Witch vibes... though let's face it, I think I'm probs more like Salem] is a lengthening and volumising mascara, which I'm actually really enjoying using. It has a flexible rubber brush for easy yet precise application - which is great for dozy people like me.
This super cute mascara [still obsessing over that packaging, guys!] is legit cruelty free and vegan friendly, making it suitable for everyone. So we can all bat our eyelashes together, pretending to be Sabrina / Zelda / Hilda [and I'll just be Salem in the corner, k? Salem with sick lashes though, obv.]

FRUU Lip Balm, Full Size
Winter has taken it right out of my lips this year, it's like I've permanently located to Chapped City. During the winter, lip balm is a handbag essential, in the fight to keep our lips smooth and hydrated. So I was super happy to see this cute little stick from FRUU in this month's box; for both this reason and because it also fits the Spa Night theme perfectly. FRUU are a new UK brand and their products are organic, cruelty free, vegan friendly and sustainable; being made from 70% fruit based ingredients.
I really love the packaging of this lip balm; its dead modern and eye catching. These fab little sticks of hydrating lip glory also come in other flavours, such as Strawberry, Mango, Pineapple or Pomegranate - but as you can see here, I have the Coconut flavour and that's more than fine by me, as a bitta coco is one of my faves.

BONUS ITEM - Friendly Soap Hair and Body Bar, Travel Size
As soon as I opened this month's Little Known Box, this pure amazing fragrance hit me. And I pretty much immediately realised that it was this Hair and Body Bar that smelt just so damn good. Worthy of being an inclusive item [rather than an extra] in its own right, this natural handmade soap is free from SLS, parabens and palm oil. And of course, it's also cruelty free, vegan friendly and perfect to use on even the most sensitive of skin types. Just a full on babe.
Friendly Soap is created using natural oils such as Olive, Shea, Cocoa and Coconut; each chosen for their beneficial properties. Alongside these natural oils; flowers, herbs and spices are used to add fragrance to the soap; as well as colouring them and to give them exfoliating properties. Super useful little product to take away on holiday with you.
