Gang, we have soooooo many Little Known Box reveals to catch up on. Like, so many! Whilst I get up to speed with my life [& EastEnders] let's unbox the July 2018 : Holiday Heroes* curation for today's post; which arrived with me a couple of weeks ago.
There's some lovely, cruelty free goodies in July's edit that are defo worth mentioning - and, spoiler alert, August's box arrived with me this week and it's bloody brilliant! So brace yourself for the inevitable weeping, hysterical swearing & professions of love to come in these next few reviews.
So, as mentioned, July's box is filled with products handpicked specially for the Holiday Heroes theme... one thing I've always loved about LKB [as well as the packaging, the inclusion of new / indie brands, the cruelty free alternatives and the opportunity to discover new products every month] is how much care & attention is obviously put in when in curating each edition. And this month is no different.
The idea behind the products included in the box you see here is that they're all ideal to take with you on ya Summer Holiday; perfect for sticking in your travel bag to use on-the-go. The Kathy Sue-Ann lip balm hydrates a parched pout, the Odylique [who are a brand I really like thanks to LKB] refreshes clogged skin & the Seacret Spa facial wipes are great for on-the-go freshening up.
Thinking of the time you're likely to spend dipped in the pool or in the sea on holiday - and the effect that sun, salt and chlorine can have on your tresses, LKB have included a hair treatment oil from new brand Hair Benefits for us to try this month.
And the final product from July's offerings is... well, the most intriguing product of them all I think! Dandi Patch are innovative underarm patches that trap odour & prevent sweat marks - and I've never heard of anything quite like them before. Though there is no arguing these will be beyond useful in sweaty Summer climates!
This looks like it'll be such a lux treat for my dried up locks! The treatment itself is suitable for all hair types, soothing, nourishing & protecting for both ya tresses and scalp. And it's unscented; so no dodgy reactions here gang. You can use it as a prewash treatment or as a styling aid; to tame pesky flyaways. Which is pretty much the story of my entire existence.
Cruelty free π Handmade π Organic π Natural π - our gal Kathy has nailed all my needs in one zesty hit, with this fab balm. Packed full of natural oils & butters, it's a hydrating & soft treat for ya pout - free from harsh chemicals and synthetic, artificial ingredients. Slay kween.
I was not expecting this mask to be powder [hence the photos!] but thinking about it... it makes perfect sense for it to be; in terms of packing to take away with you. LKB HQ don't miss a trick! Simply mix with pure water or [customise according to your skin-type] for a beautifully refreshing mask, from another cruelty free, vegan friendly & organic brand.

I've tried these wipes before [I'm at least two packets down!] and I love them. Retailing at £19.95 per pack, they're a little out of my price range to buy; but I love how gentle, natural and hydrating they feel. Suitable for all skin types, packed full of natural goodness & potent enough to remove even waterproof makeup. Defo a useful all-rounder to take away with you.
And now... onto the Dandi Patch Underarm Patch Pack of 4, which I know - like it did to me, will mystify & intrigue you in equal measure.
I haven't tried them yet I'm afraid; as I'm waiting until it's less intensely sweaty and muggy & I'm wearing a long sleeved top - but for reference, the patches themselves look like giant, pit-shaped plasters.
I'll be sure to report back with how I find them, and how effective they are. No holds barred, you know me. In short, the patches are supposed to π trap odour π stop sweat marks π prevent yellow sweat stains and are cruelty, paraben and aluminium free; removing any concerns you may have about the links between these chemicals & Alzheimer's & breast cancer.
Welcome back to the blog LKB! A fab edit to kickstart my newfound blogging motivation spree with.
