As much as I love beauty, fashion and accessories themed gifts at Christmas [and definitely not forgetting the kind you can eat!] I have become more practical in my old age; often requesting bits for around the home, my work, cutlery, utensils, bathmats and even printer paper! I don't have any issue whatsoever with my choices in gifts - much to me Mum's horror at how boring some of my requests are. But they make me happy.
Christmas is a time where if you're lucky enough to receive gifts and to be perhaps be given the chance to pick some yourself, you may as well ask for what you really actually need but haven't got round to buying / can't afford the luxury of ordinarily; rather than just all the pretty shiny stuff you've had your eye on on Beauty Bay.
I wanted to therefore pop together a Gift Guide today which is a mish-mash of all present genres - from homeware, to bedding, to beauty, to candles, to bathroom accessories & then prob landing back at beauty again. Cos let's face it huns, even if you're a beauty blogger too; our interests & needs go further than just lipsticks and Morphe eyeshadow palettes, right?

Colourpop is life. Let's not even try to deny that, k huns? There's just something about their palettes that just makes me a bit weak at the knees and wanting to channel my inner Pokémon mentality of needing to catch them all. No wonder NatWest kicked me out rly, is it?
I treated myself to this stunning 'Truly, Madly, Deeply' palette in the Black Friday sales this year; along with two Lippie Sticks. And I love them all too much for words to express. Drama KWEEN.
Yeah, you might say this is a random one for Christmas but I've wanted a new bed for aaaaaaages. Mine is not okay huns and I've been eying up luxury bed bases for ages. Especially now I've got me new Julian Charles bedding [which I spoke about in this post] which is all velvety, silky and blinged up.

Preferably one with wall mounting ability pls. And illumination; like this. A new bathroom mirror has been on my long-term wishlist for aaaaaaages; in my quest to renovate this lil space in me gaff. Also, the one I have at present isn't wall mounted and definitely fell over and definitely smashed a bit. Oops.
This gorgeous mirror is from Bathrooms Online UK* - I love how sleek, modern and minimalist it is; and the fact it'll be affixed to my wall rather than roaming free gives me hope that I'll be less likely to smash this one.
Leighton Denny Colour Collection Nail Polish Set*
I really like Leighton Denny nail polishes - they've got a good consistency, last well even on my pathetic excuses of nails [gotta loveeeeee that weak bone syndrome I've got going on] and these little sets contain stunning, complimentary shades that work well together & have been well curated - not just bashing a few shades together that don't go or have a theme, like many brands are guilty of at Christmas. Perfect stocking filler.
This was gifted to me like... a year or two ago maybe, from Prezzybox... but they still sell these beauts and I am still obsessed with mine. It features in 99% of my blog photos and those forever roses? Still going strong hun; despite sweltering under photography lights for the majority of their flowery lives. Such a pretty gift; a slice of luxury to decorate any dressing table.
Quite a mirror themed post this - anyone would think I enjoy looking at myself *shudders in recollection of my rancid face.* I'm a big fan of Luna products - they're well made, well designed, high quality and extremely portable. This larger size mirror is great for taking away with you, to ensure your makeup and selfies are on-point; regardless of the sometimes questionable lighting conditions life throws at us. I've got right into candles in the bath recently; for the ultimate relaxation experience. Just not Yankee Candles; which are overpriced and overrated in my opinion [and leave bloody black stains streaked up ya walls as they burn. Not the one.] This gorgeous candle from Ark [who are one of my most-reached for skincare brands of 2019] smells gorgeous - like Christmas in a candle. Beautifully festive & warming... and that's something, coming from me. Scrooge over here.
I'm OBSESSED with this print; I have it hanging in my office. Well, stuck on the wall with bluetack, but yeno. It's that fab it looks like an actual LED lighting piece - from a distance, many people believe it is. You can customise the text in the print to a message of your own choice - I was torn between getting so many different MySpace-esque lyrics printed onto mine, but settled on some cute / profound lyrics from my favourite Avicii song; 'Silhouettes.'
I was gifted this a little while ago too, but I love it so much I can't not recommend it for Xmas. I also filmed a little documentary project recently [which is now showing in LA, don't ya know!] and the camera crew loved this too - an artistic moodshot of this print is featured in the final cut of the episode I'm in and is showing on screens overseas right now!

How fab are these styles of nail, please? Whether you choose to gift them to a loved one or wear them yaself for the big day; everyone's a winner.
I'm a little bit in love with the flower gem embellishment on the Elegant Touch falsies; adding a pretty, floral touch to what is otherwise a statement red claw. And of course, a bit lot of glitter is always welcome at Christmas; meaning these sparkly bad boys from Kiss are actually perf.
THE FUTURE IS HERE HUNS; I'VE TASTED IT. Wine can now arrive through your letterbox. Which changes everything really, doesn't it? This is an amazing way to surprise a loved one this Christmas - or to send them a gift to congratulate them on an achievement. Or just wine, any time of the year.
