Now, I don't claim to be a skincare expert. Quite the opposite, in fact - I have neither the knowledge or the motivation to be arsed concocting a pure regime. Until recently, all's I've bothered with is a bit of cleanser and some babywipes [don't hate me for the wipes, k #poorpeople'sprobz.] But I recently discovered a skincare product which has well and truly rocked my world, so I thought I'd share this minor miracle with you guys.
Here it is. The apple of my eye. Vichy Normaderm Beautifying Anti-Blemish Care Cream, rrp around £14.50 [although, it's actually on offer at Boots here with 25% off at the moment.] This life saving cream is designed for adult, blemish prone skin and works to banish blemishes, colour marks, dodgy pores, recurrent shine & dull complexions [all of which are pretty much my face in a nutshell.] It's also proven to be effective in dealing with hormonal imperfections [e.g. the raging breakouts many of us experience around that time of the month.]
It's a little more pricey than anything I've ever bought skincare-wise before [or anything at all I've ever purchased beauty-wise, due to my pretty apparent poverty probz] but it's one of those things that's really worth it. The formula is light and creamy; a little goes a long way, meaning the bottle has lasted me for a number of weeks now. Fragrance wise, it smells like cucumbers and spa days; instantly energising your skin on application.
Legit right, my skin looks at least a trillion times more alive and a bzillion times less grey / sallow since I've started using Normaderm these past few weeks. My breakouts have become a thing of the past and my complexion looks more even than it has done in years. My make-up free face still horrifies me / shocks me to the bone, but the fright I get when I look at my fresh face in the mirror is so much less than it used to be. Yes, my skin still isn't perfect and my fod is still just as much of an oily delight as ever, but I can seriously hand-on-heart vouch that this product has dramatically reduced my hormonal breakdowns and even my shiny fod has chilled it's beans since being introduced to Normaderm.

Have you ever tried any of the Normaderm range? Do you have any recommendations on other products I should try, or other Vichy products that work wonders for you?
