I'm all for being positive and finding the good in every situation, but when it comes to 2017, it's pretty f*cking hard, man. Talk about clutching at straws. Even though I do try to be less of a miserable old hag when it comes to looking back at life events, I'm also very much aware that you can't polish a turd and that sometimes, you've gotta just accept that life has dealt you a whopping great plate of sh*te & it's tough titties all round.

2017, ladies & gentlemen

For me, this year has been a sh*tting write off. And as much as I am loving reading everyone's threads about how much they've achieved this year & how far they've come, it doesn't change the fact that for me personally, 2017 has been the absolute pits. I know I'm still dead privileged compared to a lot of people & things could be a lot worse ... I should probably stop whining ... but I can't help the way I feel about this year, lads. Soz.

As a HUGE false lash obsesso, I buzzed my tits right off when PRO-Lashes reached out to me recently - I love trying new brands and discovering what else is out there in the mad, modern world we live in. I wear falsies like, literally all the time. Even - as many of you noticed recently, whilst in hospital; after having been dissected and having parts of my skeleton replaced with metal. On more than one occasion. Lol, 2017 you joker. So how did I get on with these?

Perhaps this Christmas, the boy didn't do good. Perhaps he doesn't exist, perhaps he did & you still want more [cos you're a wild beast who can't be tamed, like me] or perhaps you have a girlfriend and none of this even applies to you anyway... cos we all know girls are the best at choosing Christmas gifts. Regardless of your situation though; if you've caught that Boxing Day Sales buzz, are feeling a bit spendy [me] or thinking of treating yourself to something a little extra lux to mark the occasion, this one's for you.

Pluswatches are an online retailer who sell, as you may have guessed... beautiful timepieces from the most luxurious, high end brands ever - but WITHOUT the raging great price tag. All 100% genuine items. So if boy didn't do good and you didn't get that oh-so-Instagrammable Michael Kors watch that you dropped about 300,000 subtle hints about [strategically, over the course of three weeks] you can just buy one for yourself! They sell lux brands such as Michael Kors, Emporio Armani, Daniel Wellington and Marc Jacobs ... at amazing prices. Like, reductions where you'll be shouting at the screen 'SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!' and adding to  ya cart like a man possessed.

Happy Christmas, everyone! There's no real actual point in  me publishing this tbh; cos literally, this post is exactly what it says on the tin... just me, ya friendly village knobhead, sending you some festive greetings.

I doubt anyone is gonna legit take time out of their Chrimbo Day to read my half-arsed excuse of a blog - let alone see this. But #YOLO. I took this photo of a star and by jove - I'm gonna use it for bloody something! I quite liked this image when I captured it [cos it's not entirely sh*t] and Instagram's plethora of bots and unfollowers didn't give it the love I felt it deserved; so here we are. Maybe it flopped with the bot society cos of the sly caption I put under it insinuating they're a bunch of d*cks, but who knows?

Regardless of whether you celebrate Christmas - or whether you even like it [I'll whole-heartedly admit it's not my fave time of year] I hope each & every one of you have a lovely December 25th. Even if the highlight of this date is - as it will most likely be for me - the Eastenders special.

ERMAGHERD, I hope nothing bad happens to erotic Josh.

I properly fancy Sleek MakeUP. Like, everything I've tried from them - and gazed at in admiration from afar, has been / is properly good. And not pure expensive either; which is defo a plus point when you're a legit pauper / tramp / charity case like me [I'd say delete as appropriate, but all those things are me so...]

If you fancy being dead kind to someone you know this Xmas [or wanna treat yourself, there's no judgement here, friends] you'll be made up to hear that Sleek have got some FAB kits in the Boots infamous Christmas Gift Set Offer for us to totes take advantage of. They're super cute, dead affordable andddd ideal stocking stuffer candidate[s]. And something you'll actually enjoy unwrapping & using; a thoughtful, fleeky festive gift from the old 3-for-2 - not just like, a myriad of smellies & 27 cans of Lynx Africa. If you're after some last minute gifts, I couldn't possibly recommend a better value brand.

I love NYX Makeup. Always have, always will. If there's one brand I'm prepared to splash out on - or pick something up just to try out on a whim - it'll be from these guys. And that's really something coming from me, as I'm tight AF & don't happily part with cash [namely cos I don't ever have any!]

I've supported the brand for a few years now - ever since the very first Soft Matte Lip Cream I picked up from their collection in about 2013 for an event in London. I love their packaging, affordable price tags, on-point products [always evolving to cater for the latest beauty trends] and the fact they don't test on floofy pets. I also love the fact they they've started stocking this babein' brand at Debenhams; one of my favourite places to lose myself in  - amongst the beauty counters, gift departments and fragrance stands.

I'd say I'm pretty easy going when it comes to dating other humans. I'm not arsed about pure posh restaurant reservations, will always offer to pay my way [even if inside I'm desperately screaming 'PLS SAY NO COS THIS CARD'S GONNA GET DECLINED LOL'] and I don't expect to be treated like some kind of endangered species... but there are a few little things I guess which would, if I was to date ya, help sway the vote in your favour. Here's ten of them.

Despite still being pretty house-bound [and bitter AF about this fact] I cannot deny the imminent arrival of NYE; which is defo one of my favourite celebrations of the year [despite how much my plans for NYE itself have gone to absolute sh*t over the last few years.] It  should be a time to share a magical evening with loved ones [even if you decide to keep the celebrations on a very small scale, like on yer own with your cat] whilst also possibly contemplating about resolutions for the year ahead. Over about 35 JÃ¥gerbombs; with the girls at an overpacked bar in town.

Whether you’re hitting a club, attending a firework display or hosting a house party [if so, pls invite me] - it doesn’t matter. Looking the part for the big countdown is all part of the fun, and even the winter weather shouldn’t stop you. Like legit, I've been out clubbing in the snow in heels and a teensy bodycon before cos YOLO. Here’s a quick checklist to give you a bit of inspo.

Hey gang! Today's collaborative post is all about SHOES! Yaaaaas! My Dad is horrified by the amount of pairs collaboratively owned by the gals in the family... but a sexy pair of heels are just too fit to resist sometimes, amiright? Everyone wants a pair of highly coveted red-soles in their closet. And as I totes can't afford that lifestyle, hoarding bargain alternatives is the next best thing. In bulk. In every colour. K?

Unless I majorly cba and decide to roll around life with no makeup on like a festering bog rat [yeah, my face = 1/10] there's always Vichy on my face in some form. Their Dermablend foundation is my absolute go-to, as it's so effing high coverage and long-lasting; and although I'm a terrible beauty blogger and / or human when it comes to skincare, the majority of my fave skin related products are from this brand too.

Vichy have recently dropped a few new makeup products which I obv have to share with you guys; amid plenty of over-excitement and swearing [standard LLL behaviour!] and that's why I'm here today. Keeping things Vichy, like. Let's crack firmly on.

It's that time of year again. Those specific few weeks where single pringles everywhere begin to feel that they're missing out on something huge by not being in a relationship over Christmas. The whole 'feeling like you need to get a seasonal boyfriend / girlfriend for snuggles over Xmas & cute walks together on those cold, crisp Sunday mornings' kinda thing. I'm sure you've all either felt like this at one point or perhaps heard a mate say it to you in passing.

I really love my personal space & I've become less and less of a 'snuggler' as I've aged; so this kinda sh*z really doesn't bother me. Although I can kinda understand why others may feel the need for a seasonal bae - as there are a number of cute, sentimental occasions back-to-back around Christmas that happy / much nicer humans than me enjoy.

This blog post aims to remind you that if you're feeling this way - and a seasonal bae is all that you crave you're a] defo not alone but b] possibly getting a bit carried away with the moment, as many other potential singletons can be arse-bandits. Here's a few reasons to remind you that if you're single or dating [non-exclusively] over Christmas it's not all that bad. At all.

As a treat to myself for not dying during my operation in August, I decided to add more to my crippling amounts of debt that I'll never be able to pay off and order the Juvia's Place The Saharan Palette off Beauty Bay. For £30. This is possibly the most expensive purchase I've made on a whim in my entire adult life, but as I was smacked off my tits on painkillers in my hospital bed at the time, I just went ahead and did it anyway. Yolo and all that.

I've got something a little different for you guys today - involving  my hair, our boy John Frieda and about 3234 selfies; showcasing my crap pouting skillz & generally terrifying facial area.

Christmas is always a hectic time of year; with our diaries / so-blogger bullet journals crammed full of to do lists, Christmas parties, nights out and catch ups with friends & the fam. Everyone - no matter what your hair type or concern, can survive these festivities whilst looking fit AF, and to prove it - John Frieda have created the 12 Days of Frizz Ease challenge. 12 different Frizz Ease products, 12 different influencers [including little old meeee] and 12 different styles - like Zoella's 12 Days of Christmas calendar.. but a trillion times better.

Lord & Berry are a brand I regularly reach for; since discovering them through the wonders of blogging. I have a few eyeliners from their collection which I swear by; due to their creamy formula & the fact they pure glide on, rather than them el cheapo ones that feel like you're defining your inner eye line with a hedgehog's arse.

They recently [well, I say recently - in reality, I've just been an extraordinarily sh*te blogger these past few months, due to all the time I've spent in the hozzy being pure dissected & operated on] celebrated their 20 year anniversary in the fashion industry [woohooo, fair play there lads!] and released some proper BEAUT products in celebration of this iconic moment. Which is what I'm totes about to show you babes of babetown today. Late, but better than never. And they're worth waiting for, pinky prom.

Another day, another blog post professing my undying love, obsession and loyalty towards Technic Cosmetics. They're just so effing good guys - cheap as chips [mmm, cheesy chips], cruelty free and fantastic quality; covering all the very latest makeup & beauty trends as soon as they hit down in #bblogger town.

Always one step ahead of da game, this switched on beauty brand have released gift sets of some of their bestselling / favourite products - perfect for Christmas and super affordable stocking stuffers.

Oh, Christmas. It's flown round and hit me like a ton of bricks... in my mind, I can't even register that it's December already, let alone that the big day is only a matter of weeks away now.

If you're a bit stuck for gift ideas, seeking a bit of inspo or wanna surprise your loved ones with treats you won't find on the high street; this one's for you. I've picked out some gorgeous, affordable options from Prezzybox - one of the best loved online gift retailers in the UK, to share with you guys today. And you're gonna want them in your life tbh; never mind giving them to other people!

Cute, decorative, brilliant stocking stuffers and beautifully designed, these Bloomtown Baubles are the only ones I want on my tree this year. Well, these and plenty of the chocolate ones... cos yeno, I'm greedy AF.

As you can see, I was lucky enough to be sent a set of 3 Navy Limited Edition Luxury Beauty Baubles; each of which tie with a ribbon and open up beautifully [this is like, next level Origami sh*t] to reveal Bloomtown treats. But there's a pretty Plum trio available too, if that colour floats ya boat more.

Every product inside this triumphant bauble trio is eco-friendly & cruelty-free - and the decorations themselves have each been hand glued, ribboned [new verb there!] & filled at their workshop in Cornwall. Each bauble contains : a roll-on infused oil,  a vegan lip balm and a mini exfoliating moisturising sugar scrub - plus if you leave the Bloomtown baes a note at the checkout of what you fancy, they'll customise which scents your recipient will get inside.

I've been lucky enough to sample the delights of Bloomtown before [see this post and also this one] and absol-friggin'-lutely ADORE their fragrances; especially 'The Woods.' So I knew that whatever was inside these stunning beauty baubles would be amazing. And it SO is. I received a 'The Woods' Oil Roll On, 'The Grove' Sugar Scrub and an Avo Mint Lip Balm in my set - all of which are products I am firmly in love with.

The Woods Infused Oil

I've had this scent in Sugar Scrub Form before - from a previous month's Little Known Box; which is where my obsession with it / this brand began. I'm made up to have it in a roll-on, perfume form; as I can legit smother myself in it and top up the scent throughout the day. My ultimate favourite Bloomtown fragrance to date... though there is a few other scents I'm pretty keen to try now, after stalking the website intensely.

*This post contains pr samples, but all over-excited festive opinions are totes my own.

Alright, gang! Today's collaborative post is pretty much exactly what it says on the tin - a list of a few must-have fashion and beauty items. I'd say most of these things are girly essentials that most of you gals will already possess in yo lives - but why not have a read through and see how many you own off this list [not-so-subtle plug] and whether you agree.

Advent Calendars - yeno, the ones that aren't filled with chocolate, have had a lot of air-time this year; namely because of that Zoella one. There's more chance of pigs flying, maintaining a career in corporate sales and paying off their mortgage than me ever spending £50 on one. Even the £25 that Boots have reduced it to now seems a bit steep for 12 doors of tat.

Therefore, I've got a Beauty Advent Calendar to show you guys today which isn't a raging rip off - and has actually been reduced down to just £12 in Superdrug. And actually contains stuff you'll use. And covers the full 24 days of Christmas; not this half-arsed 12 days sh*te. Of course, it's one from my long-time baes Technic Cosmetics - and this is their Love Your Selfie Beauty Advent Calendar*; £12 in Superdrug.

Now, if you wanna get your mitts on one of these calendars without any spoilers, I suggest you stop reading. And also, avoid the 'description' text on that Superdrug link I dropped you above. I've [in the purposes of research & fair reviews, obv] already opened all 25 doors on my Love Your Selfie Cosmetic Advent Calendar - and although I haven't featured every item you'll discover in it, I am about to show you some of the highlights of the calendar below. You have been warned

Technic Love Your Selfie Beauty Cosmetic Advent Calendar Review - Lovelaughslipstick Blog

Being totally honest, as with most beauty advent calendars, you do have to expect the odd nail file, toe separator, bobble and mini brushes behind some of the doors. Which don't get me wrong, are all useful bits; but perhaps not as exciting as some of the other contents inside.

The positives definitely outweigh the negatives with this fab calendar tho gang - there's plenty of fab products I'll get tonnes of use out of hidden inside it; and opening each door, regardless of what was behind is, was a fun, enjoyable & super cute experience. All the products inside are themed - either in terms of colour, the look you can put together with them or other items which complement them.. and I honestly just can't fault Technic - their affordable and cruelty free alternatives continue to improve with age; like a fine wine / cheese. Here's a few of my stand-out product picks - these alone definitely being worth the £12 that the entire 25 items cost.

I've already pinned a few looks I wanna try with the eyeshadow palettes, plan to totes glitterfy my nails with the polishes & have been wearing the pink lipglosses for a dewy, natural lip look - so everything in it will defo come in handy in my LLL life! And yours too, no doubt!

Hey gang, welcome to #SkinCareSaturday. Admittedly, a blog feature I hardly ever manage to keep up with, which is pretty trage seeing as I made this hashtag up for myself. But yolo. Sometimes I wash my face and sometimes I like to blog about it - so here we are.

Todays post features this GORGEOUS Senssé Silicone Facial Cleansing Brush* - which is at least 564% more attractive than I am. Just look at it! A snip of the price of the Foreo Luna device [and possibly prettier? I think so, like] at just £27.99 [!!!!!] on Amazon [usually £39.99] this fit AF set makes for a bloody brilliant Christmas Gift Idea. And clear, youthful looking skin; obv.

I wasn't sure how it would work at first tbh; but once you power it on and place it against your skin you feel its effect instantly.

I love the hygienic, easy to clean functionality of this gorgeous gadget - unlike cleansers with brush heads, its silicone teeth wipe clean and don't need replacing. Even its batteries don't need swapping - it comes with a handy USB charging cable & once powered up, its juice lasts for ages

The brush itself exfoliates dull, rough, or dry skin. Its babein' bristles get to work removing residual makeup and dirt [yum] to make ya pores look smaller and prevent acne. It promises to give you clearer, brighter & younger looking skin in just seven days [I have totes noticed less breakouts since using this brush on the daily] and rolls cleansing & anti-aging properties into one. And as I'm getting more and more fossilised by the day, I defo need to get onboard the anti-aging express.

Not just a pretty face, its bristles are patterned to follow the contours of ya complexion for a super deep cleanse / exfoliation sesh. The Senssé Silicone Facial Cleansing Brush boasts three modes:

- Deep Cleansing -  Which clears out ya congested pores and prevents you moving into spot city
- Standby - Which gives you up to 3 minutes to rinse and dry your face inbetween cleansing
- Anti-Ageing - Which massages and reduces fine lines and wrinkles for a healthy-looking youthful glow.

It also totes has 6 intensity levels and 4 different bristles all incorporated within its design; so no matter what your skintype, your skin concerns or the area your face you're working on, this babe has gotcha.

The three different bristles on the front of the brush cleanse hard-to-reach areas like the sides of the nose and around the jaw. The massaging bristles on the back of the brush fight signs of ageing. The six different intensity levels are designed to suit all skin types.
