I'm a big fan of adult colouring. I have a somewhat stressful lifestyle, which my brain often can't cope with - but sitting down with a pack of crayons and a colouring book works wonders for clearing my head. I'm all about discovering and sharing new ways to cope with stress & anxiety, and I can vouch that colouring is a very viable option, if you need a little help winding down after a stressy day at the office. You know the kind I mean. Hell on a spinny chair.

Colouring has always been an escape for me - when I was an angst ridden teenager, I used to spend aaaaages tracing fashion stencils and colouring them in; designing new outfits, planning future outfits with the clothes I had [which were, when I think back, totally cringeworthy hahahaha - teenagers these days just don't know the pain of 00's fashion] and just generally having a ball. So although I've been enjoying colouring in intricate animals and woodland fantasy patterns, my heart has been yearning for some fashion designing. For ages.

And then, my prayers were answered - in the form of Natasha Itzcovitz’s amazing fashion colouring book - 'The Whimsical Fashion Colouring Book*'; created in the style of Iain R Webb's 'Vogue Colouring Book.' Just look how insanely cute it is!

Fashion designer, Natasha Itzcovitz, has recently released her debut colouring book; which contains 100 hand-drawn fashion illustrations, to spark the imagination of every budding fashionista. Having graduated with a degree in Fashion Design, Natasha has created a world of crazy and wacky outfits that follow fashion through the ages; from famous fashionistas including Marie Antoinette and Jane Austen, to more contemporary styles - such as boho chic and hipster street style.

Natasha's adult fashion colouring book  showcases her unique designs and invites you to join in - no matter what your style.

I really, really love this colouring book. It's quirky, inspiring, beautifully drawn and really does bring the creative side of you right out. As I have such an interest in fashion and design, I've found that Natasha's book holds my attention for much longer than traditional, animal filled colouring books [though I love them too!] as it allows me to express myself more [and takes me back to my teenage days, scribbling away with the Crayolas!]

There's just something so therapeutic about colouring; I've found it really helps me work through the tangled mess of thoughts which is my mind after a stressful day - as well as taking my mind off the things that are bothering me. If you haven't tried it, I would totally recommend that you do!

The Whimsical Fashion Colouring Book costs just £8.99 (RRP) and will provide you with hours worth of relaxation & enjoyment. You can buy it via Wordery, Blackwell's, Hive etc - and I've actually just found it on special offer for just £6.29 at WH Smiths [click here to buy.]

Do you enjoy adult colouring? What methods do you use to relax and wind down after a busy day?

I love subscription boxes. There's no hiding it - I adore finding new services and at least 30% of my blog posts are dedicated to them. And today, I've got another amazing one to share with you guys - which is a little different to the norm. But absolutely incredible.

Yes ladies & gents, I've managed to locate the next level of subscription box. One for your furry friends. So now, not only can you squeal in excitement when your latest monthly parcel of goodies arrive... but your fur babies can too. I give to you ... the Pawesomebox & Purrfectbox service - which are monthly [or one off] bundles of joy you can send to your dog or cat. Prepare for all the cute [and feline flatlays!]

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Review of Januarys Purrfectbox Cat Subscription Box

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Review of Januarys Purrfectbox Cat Subscription Box

Just look at all those goodies - my little cat is going to be one spoiled moggie!

Recently developed by a team of passionate pet lovers, the Pawsomebox and Purrfectbox are a monthly arrangement of specially selected goodies for your faithful companion. This new concept will enable you to receive or offer your fur baby an arrangement of constantly renewed goodies from the top brands. Petfood, toys, animal care products and accessories... what more do you need?

From £14.90, free of shipping costs, Pawsomebox and Purrfectbox deliver their boxes directly to your doorstep. A great deal for all pet owners given the high individual cost for each product in the box.

Pawesome and Purrfectboxes can be purchased as a one off gift, or as a monthly subscription. I opted to receive the Purrfectbox* to review in this post - as although I want a Pug more than anything else in the world right now, I don't actually have a dog to enjoy Pawesomebox goodies afterwards. Other than the ones in my dreams, obv. But I do have a fluffy senior kitty called Saffi [who lives at my parents' gaff] - so all these treats are going straight to her.

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Review of Januarys Purrfectbox Cat Subscription Box

Signing up for your first Purrfectbox is pretty easy.

1. Complete your cat's profile
Small or large, short haired or long, kitten or adult...Tell the guys at Purrfectbox everything about your cat so that they can select the best products for them; which include yummy treats, toys, accessories and hygiene products.

2. Choose a subscription plan
Purrfectbox offer 12 month, 6 month, 3 month or 1 month subscriptions, so it's totes up to you what you choose! You can choose to suspend your subscription at any time, too.

3. Sit back and wait for the goodies to arrive
Purrfect Boxes are sent each month towards the 10th; so you'll receive them between the 15th - 25th. Your fur baby will then be ready for hours of fun, with playful toys & tasty snacks - making for one very happy kitty!

Plus, in addition to treating your pet, Pawsomebox and Purrfectbox have dedicated themselves to donating to animal protection charities. For every 2 boxes they deliver, £1 is given to a local animal organisation or association. So all the fur babies can benefit in some way, which is lovely.

Price wise, a monthly subscription costs from £14.90 - however, the real value of the products inside your box totals over £40 - which you can see from just how much you get in it! I was shocked and made up at just how full my Purrfectbox was - and with super cute products I know Saffi will LOVE. There's not a single product that will go to waste from this month's box - and that includes the box and wrapping itself, my girl loves sitting in cardboard boxes!

- An adorable fleecy pet throw for her to snuggle on,
- A super cute catnip mouse teddy toy [which is almost too cute to give to her!]
- 2 sachets of fancy cat food, in the foil bags [she'll only eat silver sachet cat food my girl, she's a diva]
- A pack of chicken cubes, which she'll love,
- Some Roast Chicken Flavour Bites which again, she'll wolf down in seconds,
- A SUPER cute Tabby Chic catnip mouse,

Over the past year or so, I've gone from a novice skin care attemptee [getting by with a tub of Nivea, a little makeup remover and a pack of baby wipes] to a well versed fledgling in all things body care. I've expanded my horizons, upped my game, cleared my skin [somewhat, defo still a work in progress] and had the opportunity to work with some amazing, ethical brands who know at least 400% more about how to care for your skin than I do.

Kokoa very kindly gifted me some samples from their fab new range ; so I've been pampering myself over the past few weeks, to get a real taste of what their products are all about. Here's a rundown.

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Review of Kokoa UK's Natural Vegan and Cruelty Free skincare body products

As my face is already a permanent resident of oily town, I've avoided using any oils on it up until recently; in case I accidentally made the shiny situation worse. However, my skin has got on really well with this Night Oil; as it's specially formulated for oily skin. It's become a nightly staple in my skincare regime.

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Review of Kokoa UK's Natural Vegan and Cruelty Free skincare body products

It smells lovely, actually - relaxing, like lavender and soaks into the skin immediately. You're not left feeling oily - it just feels like you've rubbed a standard moisturiser into your face. None of this slippery business I was wary of.

Kokoa advise that you apply 4-6 drops nightly to your skin after cleansing. For combination skin, use your Night Oil on oily areas and Coconut Oil / Shea Butter on dry areas. Kokoa's Night Oil is said to heal and hydrate without clogging pores - and I have to say, I believe this. After using this stuff, my skin looks so much more glowy and radiant; as well as more even and less patchy.

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Review of Kokoa UK's Natural Vegan and Cruelty Free skincare body products

Although it may look a little questionable, what with it's brown, lumpy appearance, this soap is actually really frigging fab. It doesn't really smell of anything [which is fine by me] and in all honesty, was one of the products I was most intrigued to try out from this bundle. If someone sends me something brown concealed in paper, I'm not being funny - I have to know more!

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Review of Kokoa UK's Natural Vegan and Cruelty Free skincare body products

Kokoa's organic African Black Soap is made traditionally in Ghana, with 100% natural ingredients; including Vitamin E. Its formula is known to fight acne, body odour, hyper-pigmentation and razor bumps. To use, you should break / cut a small piece of the bar off, rinse your face with warm water to open your pores before cleansing, lather the soap up & apply to the face in gentle circular motions an rinse off with cool water to help close your pores after cleansing.

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Review of Kokoa UK's Natural Vegan and Cruelty Free skincare body products

Similarly to the Night Oil above, using this soap has given my skin a fresh lease of life - it looks so much less grey and so much more alive recently! I also noticed that some of the larger pores I have around my nose were noticeably reduced after using this; so it does exactly what it says on the tin!

Coconut & Shea Whip Moisturiser*
Kokoa's moisturisers are perfect for a number of skin types; including dry skin. They're sourced directly from Ghana, without any alterations to their natural formulas - meaning that each product is 100% pure, high quality and organic.

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Review of Kokoa UK's Natural Vegan and Cruelty Free skincare body products

This organic virgin coconut oil & unrefined shea butter moisturiser has been whipped together, to create a.. well.. buttery whip. Its formula is lovely and lightweight, and when applied to the skin, it simply melts. A little goes a long way with this stuff. I've been applying it to my knees and elbows, to combat the dry skin which loves to betray me when I fake tan.

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Review of Kokoa UK's Natural Vegan and Cruelty Free skincare body products

Raw, organic shea butter is known to treat dry skin, mild rashes, sunburn and skin damage. It also has a comedogenic rating of 0, so it won't clog your pores. I sometimes break out into mad little stress rashes, which can sometimes go a bit rogue and flare up into psoriasis [plus, I have eczema down my ear now?!] so I've been applying this to that as and when it happens; to chill it the eff out.

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Review of Kokoa UK's Natural Vegan and Cruelty Free skincare body products

Although it has a different texture than the other products - and a smell that I can't quite put my finger on - this stuff glides onto the skin; melting to leave it lovely and hydrated.

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Review of Kokoa UK's Natural Vegan and Cruelty Free skincare body products

Coconut Oil*
Coconut oil. Is there anything it can't do?! This is luxury, virgin coconut oil; which is pure, unrefined and cold pressed. It's known to reduce the signs of ageing, smooth & soften skin and maintain its elasticity. It's pretty much fragrance free.

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Review of Kokoa UK's Natural Vegan and Cruelty Free skincare body products

This stuff is just an absolute all rounder, and an essential to have in your beauty stash. Plus, it's glorious to apply - it literally melts into pure, lux oil when you touch it . I've been using this on dry areas of skin, on my scars from surgery that need some tlc and I've also been having a bash at DIY oil pulling with it too. If my teeth end up as white as this product, I'll be happy! I'm also going to try popping some on the ends of my hair, as I've heard this can perform minor miracles in the split end department.

Don't forget to check Kokoa out - they're a new company, so spread the word and let's help small biz blossom!

Have you tried Kokoa's products before? What natural skincare products or brands are you a fan of?

I love Fresh Naturals. My addiction to their sugar scrubs is all too real - I have a stack of them in my toiletries basket and will 100% be back for more, when the stockpile starts to deplete.

You may remember reading about their fab range of natural, luxurious body care products here (or maybe you clocked them in my Christmas Giftguide post?) - but in case you didn't catch either of these literary works of art (lol, just kidding; though I am slightly bias) here's a quick overview of what the company's all about.

Fresh Naturals bring the best freshly handmade and natural skincare, soaps, bath & beauty from UK independents together; in one online store. Everything they sell is 100% cruelty free and freshly handmade in small batches; with gentle and natural ingredients. They stock something for everyone, so whether you're looking for something:

- 100% Natural
- Vegan Friendly
- Fragrance Free
- SLS & Paraben Free
- Palm Oil Free
- Organic
- Gentle and mild ingredients
- Or great for Dry, Oily or Sensitive Skin Conditions

... Fresh Naturals will have something for ya. And they're forever expanding and adding new products to their online store, such as these gorgeous new bits, that I was gifted recently. Here's my thoughts on them.

Rosehip and Jojoba Oil Hydration Balm*

This balm is fab, I've thoroughly enjoyed using it. I'm also loving Fresh Naturals' new look packaging and branding. It has an interesting, almost grainy texture; but once applied to the skin, it melts into a lovely, light oil.

I've been applying this to areas where I suffer from dry skin (such as my knees and elbows) and it's softened them up a treat. As the name suggests, my dry skin feels loads more hydrated now and looks noticeably younger / softer.

Creamy Bath Melts Duo*

These bath melts are lovely. They're 100% natural and fragrance free - and they don't foam up or fizz like a bath bomb - but what they do do, is intensely moisturise your skin. Drop one into the bath and it'll melt into the water, evenly coating your body in a lovely coating of moisturiser. They really reminds me of emollients I've used in the past for psoriasis - aka super moisturising.

For a more intense level of moisture, I also took the melt and rubbed it onto my skin - focusing again on the areas where I'm prone to having the odd dry patch. It melted down beautifully and felt instantly cooling. Safe to say, my skin felt years younger / refreshed after this hydrating experience. Just be careful not to slip getting out of the bath when you're done.

100% Natural Rejuvenating Face Oil*

I've always kinda avoided face oils up until now, as I have pretty oily skin on my face anyway - so I haven't wanted to encourage the situation further by adding more! However, in reality this isn't the case - and this face oil has actually helped with the shiny situation.

I've been dropping this onto my face with my foundation, when getting ready in the morning, before blending it all in with a brush or beauty blender. I saw loads of tutorials on YouTube with people doing this, and never really got it. Until I tried it. This stuff smells lovely and helps blend my foundation and concealer into my skin perfectly. It also gives my face a lovely glow, which is something I'd never achieved when my makeup routine didn't involve a splash of face oil.

If you're into Lush, you'll ADORE Fresh Naturals. Their products are ethical, effective and 100% natural - as well as super affordable. And they've even started beasting out products for men, too - leaving noone out when it comes to naturally nourished skin.

You can check out Fresh Naturals' online store here, and stalk their socials here, here and here. And if you don't believe how fab they are, just ask my Mum. I've got her hooked now, too - we're a family of sugar scrub addicts and proud!

As a lash obsesso, I wear a pair of falsies every day of my life. My natural lashes have never really been the same since the horrific eyelash curler incident of 2003, so they need all the help they can get. Plus, there's something about repping a good set of lashes that makes me feel so much better about the car crash which is the rest of my face.

My go-to, all time favourite lashes are from Lash Unlimited. I place an order for these bad boys every pay day to replenish my stock pile; their #9s are everything and I wear them on the daily.

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Lash Unlimited Eyelash Glue Review

Recently, Lash Unlimited released a brand new, latex-free, waterproof lash glue [you can check it out here] which I needed to have in my life. If it was anything like their lashes, I knew it'd be frigging sweeeeeeeeeeeeet. These tubes of adhesive cost just £4.89 for 7g, have screw top lids and are kind to sensitive eyes. Super amazing value.

Lash Unlimited have been working on their glue formula for months, to bring us a strong sticky glue, that's easy to remove and not harsh on the eye. Is it really as great as it sounds?

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Lash Unlimited Eyelash Glue Review

In a word, yeahIt's frigging fab. It did take me a while to get used to at first, I'll admit - as its formula is more watery than the Eylure adhesive I've used up until now. However, I've totally got used to it now and have discovered that applying the glue to the base of the lashes with a little brush is the way to go; for ultimate precision.

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - Lash Unlimited Eyelash Glue Review

really love it; it's lightweight, holds your lashes in place for the full day and doesn't feel clumpy or heavy on your eyelids in the slightest. You can barely feel it at all in fact - it's so light and fluttery. The best thing about this glue, aside from its lack of latex and kindness to sensitive eyes - is how easy it is to remove. When you come to remove your lashes at the end of a long day, it's honestly so simple - not like any other lash glue I've tried. There's no pulling, no soreness and no tears - it just breezes right off.

What do you use to fix your falsies in place?

Yes, I am [possibly] the poorest person in the land - but  I also have a stack of credit cards, a worrying amount of debt and a raging shopping addiction that will not quit.
Winner, winner [Smartprice] chicken dinner.

One thing I'll never get bored of splurging money I don't have on is Makeup Geek's range of eyeshadow singles; which I seek out on BeautyBay. I legit find them one of the best brands of eyeshadow I've ever used, and I adore how varied the range is. They're pretty, dead pigmented, last for hours and blend like a genuine dream. Marriage material, if you will.

Lovelaughslipstick Blog - My Makeup Geek Eyeshadow Collection Review

I whacked a photo of my Z-Palette [and the MUG eyeshadows I have lovingly stored in there] on the Gram recently - and you guys loved it. So I thought I'd share my collection in all its glory with yous today.

This is by no means a giant collection, I can't label it a 'haul' and I know there's hundreds of bloggers out there with at least ten times more pans of MUG eyeshadows than me - but yeno, I'm poor. Even my credit cards have limits. So this post is just a summary of the bad boys who've winged their way into my possesion, thus far in my adult life.

- The pale pink shade [the first eyeshadow on the left, in the top row] is Eyeshadow Shimmer 03 from #ProArtist
- The highlighter pan [on the end, on the bottom row] is a proper old one from CoverGirl that I LOVE for adding illumination to my brow bone and in the corners of my eyes.

I've used the reddish, warm tones quite a lot throughout Autumn Winter. Trying to be on point, and all that.

Bitten is a favourite of mine, and I've been wearing quite a bit of Mango Tango recently; which also makes a fantastic transition colour. Poppy applies so, so beautifully and shades such as Cocoa Bear and Beaches & Cream are legit staples in most looks I bash together.

Venom and Dragonfly are two of the newest pans I've added to the family. I haven't used Dragonfly yet, as I don't want to look like I've teleported back to the 80s / like a total bellend; so I'm trying to perfect the ultimate look with it before I debut it outside, in front of other humans. I'd love to mix it up with a bit of glitter - think that would be babein'. What do you reckon?
