Life's better with a tan.

And if it's not gonna be a real tan, developed after weeks of Summer sunshine and a vacay to somewhere exotic & roasting (chance of either of these things happening would have been a fine thing this year!) then there's no better way to fake it till ya make it than with Bali Body. I sing this brands praises on the reg over on my Insta, but I honestly proper mean it, so I'm taking to the blog today to profess my love on this platform too.

NEW IN FROM BALI BODY: Gradual Tanning Face Moisturiser
Bali Body Hydrating Gradual Tanning Face Moisturiser Lovelaughslipstick Blog

Introducing the latest and greatest release from Bali Body; their NEW Gradual Face Tan*, now available to buy for yourself! A product that perfectly blends skincare & self tan, this gorgeous hydrating cream is a must-have - I've literally just applied mine tonight before sitting down to type this up, and after a 10/10 bath.

In their words, Bali Body describe this fresh-off-the-press release as, "A daily face moisturiser infused with self tan. This ultra hydrating cream nourishes skin and gradually builds a subtle, natural looking tan. Apply daily to achieve a smooth, even & sun kissed complexion all year round. Made with soothing skincare ingredients and 100% natural DHA, suitable for all skin types."

And now it's time for my much less succinct, and much less professional sounding words.

If you can't already tell, I really like this stuff. From the moment I opened it up and saw that aesthetic AF packaging I was sold.

- It's really, really hydrating. Which I didn't expect from a tanning product - it truly does marry the benefits of skincare and self tanning into one. If my skin's feeling a bit parched, just a small amount of this product brings it back to life - as well as blessing it with radiance the UK sunshine just cannot provide.

- It doesn't stick to your pores or dry skin, which is something that purely fake tan products (without the hydrating skincare bonus) tends to do. Mousses or other tanning lotions always makes my skin look dotty, as they happily clog up me pores... whilst also, of course, clinging to and pyar staining the spots I'm normally desperately trying to hide.

- It's a great colour, very natural. As it's a gradual tan, it's very subtle and takes regular application to build - but you'll find your makeup will go on so much better the day after, and that your skin just looks healthier when you get into using it. Even mine.

- It's a nice consistency. It isn't heavy, greasy or hard for the skin to absorb. It's lightweight, insantly hydrating and absorbs quickly; leaving skin soft and nourished. You can't tell you have a tanning product on - and there's no biscuitty aroma to give your fake tanning game away either.

- It doesn't cause breakouts. Instead of clogging my pores it hydrates them, and I haven't had a single spot appear as a result of using this product. Which is big news tbh, as mousses, sprays & other pure tanning product formulas often anger my skin.

You can shop Bali Body online via their website - and I also recently clocked the range in my local Boots store, which I was super excited about! Their Gradual Face Tan Hydrating Cream retails at £28.95 - which isn't the cheapest option on the market, but I really feel you get what you pay for with face tan - and this isn't just a fake tan product. It's also hydrating skincare. So it's like a 2 for 1 deal, all boxed up in packaging to die for.

If you do place an order or pick anything up, make sure you try their tanning mousse too (I use it in shade 'Dark') - it's one of the best tanning products on the market IMO. I've used several bottles of this stuff - it just develops into such a lovely colour, without streaking or causing me any grief with mad elbow tanning patches or weird orange streaks.

I'm a big fan and I feel truly blessed to have been able to try this product before it was released this month! Thanks, Bali Body!
