So, I haven't overshared in a while. That's why this week, I thought I'd get back on the #TMIFridays wagon [you can read more about the idea of #TMIFridays here - I haven't just gone mental] and take on a tag.
The 'Would You Rather?' and 'What happens, right, if...' games played an integral part in my development as a human being; somewhat of a crucial part to my time at uni. There used to be nothing more fun than when / if one of my friends was about to go on a date, someone piping up with a hypothetical / joke 'What if, right, you get there and he...?' [fill in the blanks with whatever hilar, inappropriate scenario you deem fit] situation to make through their pre-date nerves even worse. We were a supportive bunch.
I also had an app on my phone during uni which was called 'Would You Rather?' and it gave you the worst questions EVER hahahaha. SO MANY FOND MEMORIES. So naturally, when choosing a topic for this post, the good old 'Would You Rather?' beauty tag stood out by a mile. So here we go.
Questions
1. Would you rather go out with messy hair and nice make-up or nice hair and no make-up?
Easiest question ever. If you'd seen the state of my hair recently, you'd know the answer to this question with just one glance. Messy hair and nice make-up.
2. Would you rather shave your eyebrows or have your eyelashes fall out?
Oh lord. Er, seeing as you can get them tattooed back on and that my drawn in eyebrows are better than my actual ones anyway, I'm going to say I'd rather shave off my 'brows then lose my lashes.
3. Would you rather be forced to shop at only MAC or Sephora for the rest of your life?
Haha imagine being able to shop at either! Sephora, because then I could still sample different brands.
4. Would you rather wear a lipgloss/lipliner look or 80's perm?
Probably the lipgloss / lip liner look because this question doesn't state that it has to be terrible. And I've seen my Mum with an 80s perm - I firmly don't ever want to go there.
5. Would you rather leave the house with an obvious foundation line or overdone blush?
I probably leave the house regularly with both of these to be honest. Overdone blush, cos it will fade over time and some people might think I'm insanely cool; whereas the tidemarks of a bad foundation line are just all kinds of wrong.
6. Would you rather wear MC Hammer pants or biker shorts in public?
I would obviously channel my inner MC Hammer and get in on the hareem pant action.
7. Would you rather have a bad orange-y spray tan or really weird tan lines that can't be covered?
A bad orange-y spray tan.
8. Would you rather have a bad haircut or bad hair color?
A bad haircut for sure; at least you can style it to make it look more socially acceptable.
9. Would you rather have Youtube or Twitter taken away forever?
Take my YouTube; I only really use it for music and for watching videos of tiny hamsters eating tiny things and going to tiny events anyway.
10. Would you rather give up using makeup brushes or mascara?
Makeup brushes for sure. The ones I use are that budget I'm not sure they actually do my face much good anyway!
