April 2017's Dollibox Reveal*

Dollibox makes my life. Admittedly a strong statement to lead in with, but legit - it's one of the rare beauty boxes on the market that has consistently great offerings, month to month. It never lets me down and I really enjoy receiving, unwrapping and enjoying its contents every month - with no exceptions [so far, anyway!] 

Each month's products are always so beautifully curated and wrapped to perfection; with an almost magical appeal to them [probably because of the amount of unicorn products and sparkles!] And April's Dollibox* is no exception - it's another treasure trove of delights 100% worth checking out.

Every month, the babes at Dollibox HQ send out a cute beauty box crammed full of five products [most of which are full size, another rarity in the modern world of sub boxes] for you to enjoy. The contents of Dollibox are an assortment of well known and lesser known brands; PERFECT for budding #bbloggers out there, wanting to report back on innovative new products and brands first.

There's no commitment, no extortionate price tags and a flexible range of subscription plans available too - so even if you're a little on the brassic side when it comes to the old financial department [like me] there'll be an option to suit your needs. 

Prices start from as little as £8.50 & P+P - which is insanely good value! And without further ado, let's crack on with revealing this month's products - which are ALL full size.

Schwarzkopf Bonacure Fibre Force Conditioner, Full Size, RRP £9.70

As someone who doesn't take particularly good care of their hair [let alone brush it most days] this stuff sounds PERFECT - and it smells unreal too. 

This conditioner is made for very damaged hair [like mine, the bleach has defo taken its toll!] detangling it and restoring it from within. It's as though Dollibox have read my mind / sat in the hairdressers with me [whilst the stylists have lolled with me about how damn knotty my locks get] and sent me the perfect product to combat the dramz.

I'm going to use this conditioner tonight and see what minor miracles it performs. Schwarzkopf are a brand that a] I can't pronounce for hell nor high water and b] I have trusted to care for my hair for years, so I'm very happy to see them included in this month's box.

'Ard As Nails Nail Polish, Full Size, RRP £4.50

Well, first off, I feel I need to congratulate these guys on their fantastic brand name. Lolled when I first read this, didn't I? Love a good pun, me. Secondly, can we just appreciate how perfect this mint shade is for Spring / Summer? It's the ideal colour choice to enhance a tan - and one I would totes have picked myself; as a first choice.

Even better, this nail polish is 5-free - which means it doesn't contain any of the usual toxic nasties you get in nail products. I've become a lot more conscious of what I'm putting onto / into my body recently, and the fact that products like 'Ard As Nails' polishes which shun chemicals and toxins are becoming more readily available pleases me. Big time.

Skinjam Cosmetics Lemonade Bath Bomb, Full Size, £2.50 [4 for just £10 via their Etsy Store]

Omg, this bath bomb smells unbelievably refreshing, and just look at its patterning and design! It's fit for a queen [or just regular old peasants like me, too.] Handmade in North Yorkshire, this generously sized bad boy smells like pink lemonade and nostalgia - and tonight's bath is going to be heavenly.

If you're into Lush I would totally recommend checking out Skimjam's Etsy - their prices are super reasonable for the quality of product you get - PLUS they're SLS and Paraben Free too. I'm all about dat life.

Saturated Colour LIPSStick Moisturising Lipstick in Frisky Fuschia, Full Size, RRP £7.00

I've tried Saturated Colour's lippies before and really enjoyed them. And this one is even better than I remember them! I love the colour - Fushia is the exact kinda colour I'd pick out for myself; I love a strong pink lip and wear one most days* [*that I get up on time and manage to function as a genuine human.]

It's bright, highly pigmented and applies like a thick, creamy dream of nourishment for your lips; with a semi matte finish. I'm really, really impressed with it and will totes be incorporating it into my #SS17 makeup looks.

Pom-Pom Hairband, Full Size, RRP, £4.00

I really love that this month's Dollibox has included a little hair accessory like this - I never buy my wig anything; it's never on-point. But it can be now, with this totally cute Pom-Pom bobble. I'm made up I got the grey one too, as this will coordinate perfectly with the majority of my outfits; from Season to Season.

Pom-Poms are everywhere right now, so this cute little hair band will ensure that my birds nest of an excuse for hair rocks the latest trend in style. Plus, the fluffiness of the bobble might detract from the fact I haven't brushed it in a while.

Babi Bear Foundation Sponge, Full Size, £2.95

This is, surprisingly, one of my favourite items from this month's box. I love the design, branding [and name obv - Babi Bear is just about the cutest thing ever and makes my ovaries melt] and idea behind this little sponge - it's super soft and blends under the eyes / smaller areas of the face to perfection.

This super soft little sponge can be used to apply foundation, powder or BB cream - and I've found it really useful to blend in awkward patches of concealer, too. It washes clean easily with soap and water, so it's not too much of a chore, either.

Another month, another Dollibox and another perfect example of why I love working with this company so much. There's not a single item in this collection that I won't use and to say that every product included is full size makes it phenomenal value!
