You might not know this about me, but I'm as blind as a bat. Without my contact lenses [which fool everyone into thinking my eyes actually work] I'm a lost cause. Like literally, I would get totally lost if I didn't wear them.

I wear contact lenses every day - mostly, for convenience. But also, because I am THE WORST at choosing glasses; I find it so hard and I never seem to find the pair I imagine in my mind. Probably because they don't exist, but the struggle is very much real

Last time I went to pick out some frames, I ended up befriending an elderly couple and choosing the wife two pairs of glasses - but still couldn't decide on a pair for me. I'd always just assumed that I have to get glasses from my local optician; as to go elsewhere would be too expensive, right?

Wrong. I've recently discovered who have truly wowed me with their massive online selection, their quality and reasonable prices. I chose this pair of glasses from their site for this collab [which they very kindly gifted me] so I could let you guys in on this little known secret too.

These are the Broadmoor Square Glasses, in black & blue. I've always wanted a pair of thick, geek-chic specs; but never really found a pair in my opticians that a] suited me or b] didn't cost about 3 million pounds. I'm made up with these glasses; the way they fit [they're so comfortable] and their quality. Whereas I've broken several pairs of glasses before, I have no doubt that these will last the test of time. They feel sturdy, yet lightweight.

You might think it would be a little difficult picking out eyeglasses online - but with, I found it really simple. Perhaps easier than shopping in store! Each style of glasses is accompanied with several, high quality, true to life photos; with clear dimensions, so you can measure up to see where they'd fit on your face.

And if that wasn't enough, here's what [in my opinion] really makes stand out from the crowd.

Each pair of glasses comes with an amazing 'Try On' option; so you can preview how your glasses will look on your face before you order. Choose from stock images or upload a photo [or 10!] of yourself, so you can sit back and assess which frame best suits your face. Share with friends, send to family and spend a little time getting used to seeing photos of yourself wearing them... with no time restraints, awkward sales conversations or trying to see what you look like in those tiny opticians mirrors; that everyone's fighting over.

Once you've picked out the frames of your dreams and are happy, you can either just order the frames [if you'd prefer to take them into your opticians to have the lenses put in, or even if you just want glasses with clear, non-prescription lenses to wear as an accessory] or put your order in for your lenses in too. As long as you have your most up-to-date sight test details and prescription, you're good to go and can submit your details.'s specs come in a cute case with a microfibre cloth and these Broadmoors have also got scratch resistant lenses, which is perfect for me; given how clumsy I am. Here's a couple of pouty selfies of me, enjoying life with my geek-chic vibes.
