As a HUGE false lash obsesso, I buzzed my tits right off when PRO-Lashes reached out to me recently - I love trying new brands and discovering what else is out there in the mad, modern world we live in. I wear falsies like, literally all the time. Even - as many of you noticed recently, whilst in hospital; after having been dissected and having parts of my skeleton replaced with metal. On more than one occasion. Lol, 2017 you joker. So how did I get on with these?
PRO-Lashes' range of falsies are made from 100% Faux Mink - meaning that they're completely cruelty-free; which I'm all about [I'm really hoping to up my awareness of cruelty free alternatives in 2018.] They're hand-crafted to give each pair a unique, natural style and, if you treat them with the love & tenderness they deserve, each pair can be used up to 25 times! And I'm all about that too - value for money is a huge deal in my book; even if NatWest are tight and don't agree that I prioritise this.
I was lucky enough to be sent three of PRO-Lashes' 3D Glam lash sets to try out for this post - but in typical me style, I've taken THAT MANY PHOTOS of each pair that I'm unable to cope with my life. So I've had to split what would have been one post into three, so as to spare your eyes and protect you from screen glare. Today's featured style are the #114 Angel Lashes* - and the other two huns will be live #ontheblog too. Soon. Ish. K?
There's a strong chance you've already seen a sneak preview of the Angel lashes if you follow me on Instagram, cos I'm a wild beast who can't be tamed and has no self restraint when it comes to when I publish images. But here's a little more info on them, without endless chains of emojis and hashtags. Damn you, algorithm and raging pit of bot users.
PRO-Lashes 3D Glam #114 Angel False Eyelashes, RRP £16.99 but which are currently on sale for £12.99
How unreal are these, please?! They're just too hot to deal with, IMO. They really remind me of Lily Lashes - just without the extortionate price tag attached. They're full, fluffy, feathered and flirty AF - the 4 F's lash life is all about [tho never, ever about F4F *shudders*.] They don't come with adhesive, but that's fine with me as I have several tubes of the stuff already [and you can pick it up dead cheap online if you need some; Amazon and eBay are my glue GODS.] And they're beautifully lightweight.
I have pretty shifty, beady eyes like a chicken; so I had to cut the lashes down a little on the band to get them to fit my eery eyelids - but once this was complete, we were good to go. I LOVE the way they look once applied, oh my days. These were my Christmas Day lashes in fact, due to this intense love. If you can ignore how obnoxiously huge my pores are in this close up [and how Hagrid my brows are] - this is what they look like on.
These falsies truly live up to their namesake. Angel is right! They really open up your eyes, are dead easy to apply and are totes in it for the long-haul - I've worn this same pair about 4-5 times [to date] and they're still going strong. I'm hyped AF to put the other two styles to the test and report back to you guyz on them now - if they're anything like this pair, we may have a new entry in the top 5 favourite falsies brand chart here!
What do you think of this style of lash? Have you tried any of PRO-Lashes' range before?
*This post contains items I was gifted for the purpose of review, but all opinions and MASSIVE pores are very much my own.
