Trying Eyeko's EYEKONIC Products For The First Time*

Eyeko are pretty Eyeko-nic when it comes to their mascara; I'd recognise that branding & tube a mile off. So when I finally got to try it recently [and several other of their products - which I didn't even realise existed until now #BadBlogger] my life was pretty much made.

Before I get proper on one; rambling away & weeping about my love for pretty much everything* [*terms and conditions apply, I don't love everything in the world, like...] I feel I also need to tell you that right now Eyeko HAVE A WINTER SALE ON WITH UP TO 50% OFF ... so there's never been a better time to try out these lil BEAUTS for yaself.

Anyway. Overexcitement and caps lock out of the way, let's get cracking on this review of the amazing spread of Eyeko products I've been trying out over Christmas & defo bringing with me into 2019.

Let's kick off with the two mascaras I was kindly gifted; the legend that is the Eyeko Black Magic Mascara*; for drama & curl anddddd this super cute Lash Alert Mascara* mini.

I've heard about Eyeko's mascaras for literally years & years - they always used to be in my magazines when I was growing up. Their tube packaging is truly iconic and, as I expected, their mascaras live RIGHT up to the hype.

It's all about the wand with these products. Not to mention their bangin' formulas. The shape, the bristles and the curvature of the wand itself combine to create a recipe built for curling & lifting success. With just one / two coat[s] the wand lifts your lashes; defining them at the same time [clump-free zone over here, huns 🚫] and pulling them upwards; opening your eyes for a wider, younger look. I'm really, really impressed and would rank these mascaras [particularly the Black Magic Mascara] right up there in my top mascara line-up.

I need to tell you about this one next, before I explode. Cos as much as I love the mascaras [and that's a lot, so what I'm about to say next is like... next level heart eyes, yeno?] I've fallen for this product even more. And I need to declare this love, immediately.

I'm talking about the Eyeko Me & My Shadow Waterproof Shadow Liner* of course; which I have in the shade Topaz. CAN WE JUST TAKE A MINUTE to bask in its beauty, pls. I have used this on like, every single makeup look I've done since it arrived with me.

It's so pigmented, creamy, shimmery, bright & beautiful... I've been using it to brighten the inner of my eye / tearduct department & as a highlighter blended under my brows and [I don't say this lightly / ever...] I am SHOOK.

Another stand-out Eyeko product for me is this Brow Game Strong All-in-One Brow Definer & Brush* which I have in shade Medium. Like my best bae the Waterproof Shadow Liner; this little sort also has a hidden brush at one end - and a little screw off pot on the other, which houses the Brow Definer. Which is a cream - like a pomade.

I couldn't quite tell, in its little pot, whether this shade would be right for me or not [anything too warm-toned is a no-go on my giant cold AF mug] but I was pleasantly surprised by the colour once I swatched it. The little angled brush is really precise and allows you to carve out an accurate AF brow and the shade - although a tad warmer than I'd typically opt for, works well with my new hair colour. I really like it.

Last but not least - I've introduced this fab lil Eyeko Sport Waterproof Eyeliner* to the family. It's a lovely creamy consistency and twists up to reveal the product... so no more messing around with pencil sharpeners & pyar shavings flying everywhere 👏👏👏 Yaaaaaas, that's one of my number one pet peeves.

The liner itself allows you to really accurately line ya eyes [I use this on my waterline] and it too, like some of these other Eyeko goodies, has a brush-end; to smudge and soften your finished look... smoking it out for a sultry AF, long lasting look. LOVE.

I've really enjoyed trying out these fab Eyeko products - it's been an education for me, as I didn't realise their collection was as varied as it actually is! I thought they were the OG's for mascara and eyeliner... without realising all the brow & other makeup products they stock. I've gone from being clueless AF to relying on some of these products in my daily makeup routine... so it's a MASSIVE thumbs up from me.
