Super Facialist were always one of those brands I'd heard nothing but amazing things about, but had never actually tried. Until recently. And I don't mean to be dramatic [okay, I totally do] but their collection has legit revolutionised my skincare routine, face and life.
I've had a few of their products in my possession for a little while now; which means I've had the chance to fully test them out and obsess over them sufficiently. And weep about them over on the 'Gram, obv. So here's the full inside scoop.
The moment this amazing bundle of skincare dreaminess arrived with me was probably one of the most defining moments of my entire 2018 - and the most beautiful aroma accompanied it. I didn't realise skincare could smell so damn good through its sealed packaging; but somehow these Super Facialist baes managed it!
I've been using these products religiously ever since they arrived in my life, and legit, my skin has been so much more even, less oily [which is a minor frigging miracle, as I am pretty much a walking oil slick] and it's responded so well to the ingredients in them; even during times of breakout panic.
I use the Super Facialist Salicylic Acid Purifying Cleansing Wash* and the Super Facialist Salicylic Acid Purity & Refresh Facial Scrub* pretty much every day of my existence. They're fresh, I love their subtle scent and they're gentle on my skin; whilst leaving it super cleansed.
Next up: my hero product of the bunch; the one I was most excited to try and which totally lived up to the high, subconscious expectations I had for it. The Super Facialist Salicylic Acid Anti Blemish Pore Purifying Clay Mask*.
My skin [being the oily tyrant of terror that it is] always responds well to clay masks - and this one is actual BAE. If I'm currently residing in spot city, or just looking like a hormonal wreck; smothering this clay mask on literally reverses all signs of this carnage. I try and use this at least once a week, to keep on top of my skincare game.
It clears my skin right up, leaves it feeling tingly fresh, smells uh-mazing and the clay counteracts & balances my oil levels perfectly π If you're an oily skinned hun [yaaaaaas, welcome to my shiny -ass club] I highly recommend working this product into your skincare routine. A little clay goes a long way [rappin' ell] so it'll last you for evaaaaaahhhh.
This Super Facialist Vitamin C+ Brighten Skin Renew Cleansing Oil* is actually the dream. Like the other Vitamin C+ Super Facialist products I've tried, it smells BEAUTIFUL. Like, next level fit; citrusy, but not at all overpowering or lemony - more like orange peel mixed with heaven.
I love its packaging, I love how fresh & luxurious it feels on the skin, I love how even though it's an oil it works so well as a cleanser and doesn't leave my oily skin feeling oil-ridden at all. It's so gentle on the skin yet removes every last scrap of grime: I heart it. 10/10 would bang and / or marry.
The final two lil huns to talk about are the Super Facialist Vitamin C+ Brighten Dark Circles Eye Cream* and the Super Facialist Salicylic Acid Anti Blemish Clear & Correct Serum*. The Eye Cream again, smells fruity and fresh; leaving the skin under my eyes feeling dead refreshed, less puffy & smooth AF [like me xox.] It's great to pop on in a morning, to make my eyes look less like something out of The Walking Dead.
The Anti Blemish Serum is a secret weapon all oily skinned gals should be aware of, tbh. It reduces redness and swelling, when a breakout begins to rear its ugly head. I apply it on my massive fod regularly; to help control the insane levels of oil production this part of my massive face typically has going on, and to prevent any future volcanic eruptions festering up there.
I've been blown away in my first experience trying Super Facialist. No word of a lie. For some reason, I had it in my head that this brand were super expensive and I'd never be able to afford them - but on this [very] rare occasion, I was totally wrong. Their products are stocked in Boots and actually very reasonably priced; with luxurious formulas that mean they last like, forever too - so you defo get your money's worth out of them.
I literally use at least 2 of these products everyday of my existence and I will totally repurchase my favourites from this bunch when they run out... which for a poor-ass tramp like me, is definitive proof of how much I've truly fallen for this brand. MARRY ME PLS XO
