It seems like friggin' AAAAGES since I've featured Little Known Box on me blog; time is legit flying by and I have nothing to show for it except for all the weight I've gained, the stack of bills on top of the fridge that I've been ignoring and a few new coffee spill stains on the carpet. Living my best life. Anyway. Here's what you can expect to find nestled in that iconic black & gold LKB packaging in their latest edit - and it's another goodie.
Little Known Box are one of my favourite ever monthly beauty subscription services; for multiple reasons. Firstly, because Helen at LKB is a total babe, secondly; because there's not been a single box I've felt disappointed with and lastly - for all the cruelty free, little known and organic brands & products this babein' box has introduced me to... that I would never have discovered otherwise.
Each month's curation has a different theme; usually Seasonal or focussing on prepping skin / hair / nails for upcoming events or changes in the weather. And January's edit is no exception to the rule - kicking off the first LKB experience of 2018 in a fantastic manner, with the Winter Rescue box.

Team LKB carefully curated this month's box with a fresh month and a new year in mind - including items to refresh our looks & beauty regimes & embracing the whole new year, new me vibe by including products we perhaps wouldn't ordinarily get the chance to use. This month's includes a first for Little Known Box; their inclusion of the first dental product ever - the Activated Charcoal Teeth Whitening Powder [which was the one item that stood out to me IMMEDIATELY as I've wanted to try this stuff for so effing long!!!!]

Pro Teeth Whitening Teeth Whitening Powder, Full Size
I've wanted to try Charcoal Teeth Whitening for approximately 23 years. And I've been overdramatic & enjoying exaggerating for 29. So I was legit made up to see this fab lil pot nestling in that LKB packaging of dreams. Tbf, its packaging is pretty damn dreamy too.
I was a little scared of it at first - but it's absolutely fine on my teeth and definitely scrubs off staining more effectively than ya regular toothpaste alone methodology. The most dangerous part of using it is the risk you have of spilling it all over your life - there's no need to worry about it scratching your teeth off or tasting like rocks.
It's too soon really for me to tell if it's made a major difference - plus I'm trialling numerous teeth whitening products at the moment - but I'm loving this so far & feel like I've joined the cool crew of celebs who brush their teeth with this stuff on Insta. Just obv, I'm not actually cool.

Seacret Spa Cuticle Oil, Full Size
This was yet another product that I buzzed my tits off over; when unwrapping this month's box. Firstly, I love Seacret and have tried a fair few of their other products via LKB. Secondly, my cuticles are sh*t and I need all the help I can get with them. And thirdly, I rly miss my nail lady Antonia - she always rubs oils into my cuticles when she does my Shellac and so now I can pretend to be a professional in the comfort of my own home / duvet.
I love its packaging, its lux formula and how much I feel like a proper functioning adult when I use this post manicure. I've used it frigging loads over the past couple of weeks & it's hardly gone down at all, so you get loads for ya money too. I used this - and the next item you're about to see - pretty much straight away on arrival of this LKB and I was, as you may have guessed, sh*tting well made up.

HJ Manicure Nail Polish x 2, Full Size
Yes gang, more full size products. Get the hell in there! I do love a sultry, dark nail in the colder months - to represent my dark soul & moodiness towards this frigging freezing climate. So these two shades from me boy HJ Manicure are perf and a very welcome addition to my nail wardrobe / life. These shades are Midnight Sky and Alpine Green and as you may have noticed on my Insta Stories; I dropped everything and painted my talons with the green shade immediately.
The nail polishes themselves are a great quality, and easy to apply. They dry pretty quickly & with two coats; you're done. What I also rly love about this brand is that their polishes are free from five toxic chemicals commonly found in nail paints, totes vegan friendly and cruelty free. Slay HJ, slay.

Cole & Co Handmade Soap, Travel Size
Last but by no means least, this month's LKB contains a fab lil piece of handmade soap. Ordinarily, I wouldn't be too fussed on soaps; but these are pretty special for a few reasons:
1. They smell absolutely UNREAL - like to the point where I never want to sniff another bar of soap again. The fragrances I was kindly gifted [Geranium, Ylang Ylang & Neroli and Pomegranate] are so bloody good I could eat them. But I won't, cos I don't want bubbly poos.
2. They're the perfect size to travel with, and I'm desp to book some adventures soon.
3. Their bright, funky packaging adds a splash of Spring to this otherwise Wintery edit - and I am ALL ABOUT THAT! The bright pinks, yellows and fresh scents that hit me when I untied that black, silky ribbon instantly got me excited for the warmer months to come; and I love this.
These handmade beauties are SLS & cruelty free - plus I've just read that Cole & Co also make room sprays, diffusers and candles... and if they smell as good as these lil soaps do, they've just got themselves one very eager customer!

Another month, another fantastic curation from Little Known Box. I really enjoyed this month's edit and will get / have got plenty of use out of the goodies inside! Make sure you check this service out - it's one of the few subscription box services out there really worth trying!
