Very occasionally, I wash my hair. On an even less often basis, I brush it.
But when I do partake in these rarities, I defo appreciate the presence of a good shampoo and conditioner - which these new releases from SheaMoisture totes are. Plus, the conditioner I've been trying from this brand has a pump attachment head that makes me feel like I'm in a hairdressing salon and / or rly have my life together when I use it. So I'm here to profess a bit of love for them today, before I no doubt go back to the warm allure of my duvet & have a life-ruining nap.
SheaMoisture are a natural, organic, sustainably-produced brand; creating nourishing products without sulfates, parabens or testing on fluffy pets. Yaaaaaas. Their babein' collection is also infused with certified organic Shea Butter; which as we all know, is an absolute godsend when it comes to battling dry skin, hair & nails. So you can imagine how well this works within their formulas.
I was lucky enough to get me mitts on the SheaMoisture Argan Oil & Almond Milk Smooth & Tame Shampoo* & Conditioner* and let me tell ya, gang - they're so frigging good!! My hair is left sleeker, stronger, straighter and scented like a coconut-buttery DREAM after being treated to a quick cleanse with these worldies. The conditioner is super effective at detangling [even on my mad birdsnest of a barnet] and my hair laps it up in the same way I do with Jagermeister. Plus that oh-so-professional looking pump dispenser means I don't use too much at a time; which saves on ££ and product wastage. I was surprised actually at how little of the conditioner I needed to use to get results; normally I have to work in like a third of a giant bottle to tame the beast.
This dynamic duo [and all the other haircare products in this range] are best suited for those with fine, frizzy, straight or wavy hair; which is pretty much me down to a tee. They're formulated with Almond Milk, Argan Oil [again, another one of them hero ingredients that fixes pretty much everything in life], Marshmallow Root Extract and raw Shea Butter; which work together to tame frizz, smooth hair and lock in moisture.
Unlike with other haircare products, my roots & hair aren't left feeling heavy or remotely oily from thick, chemical based cleansing ingredients - they're left lightweight, shiny AF, glistening with health and feeling about a million times healthier. Which I defo need in me life, given my hobby of home hair bleaching & dying to save a few ££ here and there!
