The other day, a bit of Bloggermail turned up [via Paul the Postman, obv #PostalBae] that made me do an actual SQUEEEE. The three babein' products it contained made my day [if not life & / or existence] - and I'm about to tell you exactly why. If you haven't already gathered, that is; from my over-excitable Instagram Stories & posts about them - and any other rambling professions of love I may have expressed on other social media channels.
Let's kick off with my ultimate fav - a product that made me do a legit fist pump when I discovered it nestled inside my parcel. I'm talking about the HD Beauty Brow Define Pencil*, of course, which I received in the shade 'Foxy.' If you're a long-term reader [or mega effective stalker] you will most likely have already seen a few professions of love dedicated to this bad boy on my blog. I first discovered this product a couple of years ago, when I first tried a HD Brows treatment at a fab Liverpool Beauty Salon - Bloom.
I have repurchased this product time & time again due to how friggin' good it is & how perfectly Foxy matches my brows. I don't know if the babein' PR who sent me this [hey Freya hun xox] knew this about me - or colour matched it off photos of me... but the fact it was such a perfect fit for me was a really, really lovely touch. And the best part was, that I'd recently ran out of this product - so to receive an unexpected replacement item was amazeballs.
Foxy is the perfect sorta medium-ashy shade for my brows - it's perfectly cool-toned and sits really naturally within them. The pencil itself applies like a precise dream [and comes with an inbuilt sharpener in the lid #Winning] & when layered up in soft strokes, helps achieve a naturally fuller looking brow sitch. Which is essential for top tits like me, who defo embraced an overplucking situation for the majority of my life. 10/10 will repurchase & forever recommend - make sure you check out the other HD Beauty brow products if you get a chance queens; I've tried most of them & they're HOT.
Next up are Nouveau Lashes and their fab Lash & Brow Conditioning Serum*. Again, Nouveau are a company I've tried treatments from before [at Bloom, obv] & loved. Remember me posting about my LVL Lashlift, way back when? Yeah - that's all these guys too. So I can vouch first hand that these guys know their sh*t when it comes to sorting out sparse AF lashes [like mine, after the great eyelash curler tragedy of 2003.] AND it's also worth adding that this serum is Vegan; so I'm massively impressed RN.
I sound like a massive, raging perve when I say this - so naturally, I'm going to go ahead with it & keep it in this post for all of eternity... but phwoar, look at the bristles on that! The wand on this bad boy is next level - it grabs and latches onto every single slice of brow or eyelash before coating it in serum and evenly distributing it throughout. Oh and it's hypoallergenic too; so you can coat away worry-free, even on the most sensitive of peepers!
This sick serum boasts a blend of vitamins and conditioning actives, to properly sort out ya lashes & brows. If you use it daily [which I'll admit, I do sometimes forget to] it coats ya eyebrows / eyelashes with nourishing goodness and long term, can help them appear fuller... and who doesn't want that?! Oh and to add another string to its proverbial bow; if you use it beneath ya mascara, it acts as a primer. Yaaaaaas. Clever, clever sh*t this.
Finally, let's show a bitta love for the most fun facemask I think I've ever had the pleasure of trying. Yes, it's one of those bubbly ones. Yes, you may have seen me basking in its glory [and looking pretty terrifying] on Insta when I first tried it out. And yes, I would totes recommend picking one up - both for the novelty factor and for how refreshed & rejuvenated my skin felt; post-bubble.
Skin Republic [whose products you can pick up on FeelUnique and Superdrug etc] specialise in developing innovative sheet masks - all of which are infused with pure nutrients. Each of their masks target specific skin concerns; leaving you rejuvenated & hydrated, with dat healthy, glowing complexion we all crave.
This Charcoal Bubble Purifying Sheet Mask* was the first thing I'd tried from this brand - and it definitely left me with some positive first impressions [as well as a camera roll of sh*tting terrifying bubble-face selfies to dig out for Halloween.] As well as being an insanely novel experience, it left my skin feeling SO fresh, cleansed & alive post removal. Brace yourself for the selfie that nightmares are made of guys, it's coming.
HAHAHA no, I can't even cope with how funny I look in that shot hahahaha. My face close-up, is legit the thing of nightmares. Anyway - that aside - I hope you guys are as enthused / in love with this lil instalment of Bloggermail as I was. There's some fab brands here - tried & tested over the past few weeks [or years, in the case of this HD Beauty pencil] to my high standards. And they all pass with flying colours, bubbles & brows on fleek.
