I love sharks. Even more so when said sharks are cool AF gadgets for your HAIR. From one of my fave ever online gift retailers; Prezzybox [whose website is lookin' mighty fiiiiiine and packed full of Christmas inspo; may I add.]
If you've not heard of HairShark Pro Backcombers* yet, then kween... take a seat. With its clever design, versatility & fab backstory as to how these bad lads originally made it onto Prezzybox's site, this product makes for a post too good to miss. Even if I do say so myself.
HairShark backcombing brushes boast probably one of the most innovative designs I think I've ever seen in the world of hair. It's the world's first 2 in 1 backcombing brush to use both negative and positively charged fins; that work together to achieve maximum volume that lasts.
The bristles benefit from anti-static technology and the brush sports a sleek, lightweight & ergonomically designed form to give the user maximum accuracy when teasing ya tresses into oblivion.
Moving away from the HairShark's fins temporarily - it's also totes worth noting [and appreciating] that the tail of its handle tapers into a defined point that can be used to separate hair into sections or to carve out a fierce parting; when ya locks are having a moment. It's dead handy having these sorta tools all built into one design. Especially when said features give me so much ammunition for subtle sealife puns.
The bristlier of the two sides is obv the ABSOLUTE KING of backcombing [or queen, don't want anyone making up a tweet about how woke their kid is by questioning my choice of noun like 🍵] - if I'm trying to stack a bit of volume on top of me massive head when my hair's a bit limp & I want a sassy ponytail vibe a la Ariana Grande going on. It's so easy to use and just a few backward strokes add plenty of texture for me.
For me, the less bristly fin shaped side of the HairShark is absolute bae. I use it all the time when I've curled my hair with a wand & want to loosen up the tightness of the curl - it's PERFECT. It's not a dense brush-head, so it doesn't pure make the curls go fluffy or remove the full definition when you pull it thru ya locks... purely leaves them slightly looser and more natural looking. YAS HAIRSHARK, slayyyyfish [haha, had to slip in that terrible pun there #SozNotSoz]
HairShark made their fierce debut onto Prezzybox's site earlier on this year [yes, I am was that bad of a blogger & have only just had chance to feature it now... but yeno, worth the wait and all that] - something which you might have actually been aware of without visiting the site or before reading this post...
... Yes that's right, you eagle eyed viewers may have spotted the Prezzybox MD Zak on Channel 4's recent TV series 'Buy It Now' where he decided to make the call to buy the HairShark. How fab is that?!
Was the HairShark worth Zak's investment?
My vote - as with the handful of positive reviews on Prezzybox's site - is totally yes... but why not try it out for yourself; or pick one up as a Christmas gift this year? As far as hair tools are concerned, you rly RLY can't go wrong... HairShark will defo make a SPLASH in any beauty lover's life!
