Yous are probably aware by now [as I not so subtly explained in this post] that I am NOT into Autumn / Winter. But since this seasonally themed Little Known Box arrived in me life recently, I can at least a bit agree now that this cold time of year has its benefits. And by benefits, I'm PURELY referring to this box, like; let's not get carried away. Wanna see why?
September's edit is a fab assortment of goodies intended to help us prep for Autumn; but which are all totes items you can use all year round too. There's three products for ya body & skin, a couple of makeup bits andddd a cheeky little Makeup Eraser sample - a brand I already know & love from my time collaborating with Ideal World.
In terms of skincare; the queens slaying life over at LKB HQ have included some lux Dead Sea Bath Salts from Seacret Spa this month, to help us relax & soften ya skin in the process [cold weather = crap times for skin.] I love these salts - I've tried them before & I honestly believe they help draw the pain out of tired muscles / bones / injuries in a way similar products can only dream of. They went in my bath straight away, post-photoshoot.
Next up, the MONU Skin Perfector - this product is, hands down, the one thing I'm most excited to smother on my being from this month's box [I full on proper bum this brand... in a metaphorical sense.] This babe promises to blur imperfections [e.g my whole face] & sort out any rogue lines you might have going on.
And this lil pot of Moringa Balm from new brand PureRooted can be used on ya pout or on dry patches of skin on ya bod during these sh*t, colder times; making it an all-round 10/10.
Makeup-wise [always my fave bits to dig out] LKB have popped in a fab lil gadget from one of my favs [Saturated Colour] - who, judging from the contents included in previous LKBs, seem to have a really fun / vast selection of bits like this to try; if you're looking to experiment with makeup or get more outta ya current stash.
Their 'Make Me Matte' lipstick is pretty AF [serving alllll that Insta aesthetic] and, as the name suggests, can be used with any of ya fav lippies to turn them from a sheer to matte finish in seconds. Now that's how you get ya money's worth outta that huge lippy stash - 2 for one.
Next up we have a bonus item - which also stands as a full sized product in its own right... this fan brush from LKB. Let's face it, one can never have too many makeup brushes [sounds like a proper royal quote that, we'll say our Liz was behind it, flaunting her highlighter wisdom] & fan brushes are super useful in the makeup bag of every bblogger, makeup enthusiast or MUA.
And finally, crammed into this month's LKB we have this super sweet sample of the infamous Makeup Eraser makeup removing cloth; housed in the cutest mermaid-esque packaging. These bad boys are [like a fine Pokémon] super effective [wow I'm tragic xo] at removing all remnants of ya #FOTD in seconds... without the need for makeup remover, soaps or abrasive surfaces.
Water & TLC is all ya need [rly wanna make a joke about TLC and not needing No Scrubs at this point, but I'm so tired my brain can't string it together] when removing ya makeup; making this cloth perfect for those with allergies or sensitive skin. I'd really recommend giving a sample size like this a go, as I love my full size version.
Another month, another perf edit from LKB. Legit one of my favourite subscription boxes out there.
