Today's post sorta celebrates all those things [bar the Bake Off rly, tho I did buy some SICK Halloween sprinkles & icing from B&M this weekend] - featuring a brand focus write-up on Makeup Revolution's limited edition Halloween makeup range and details of the HUGE SPOOKY GIVEAWAY I'm holding over on my Twitter [to coincide with my 4th blog-anniversary] where you can win all the MUR beauty items pictured in this post.
The rise of Halloween Looks on Instagram [from all them pure celeb MUAs & #Bbloggers alike] always inspires me to have a go at spooky makeup looks & to channel my creepy creativity at this time of year.
But it can be hard to pick up the stuff you need for said looks both a] on the cheap or b] at all during the Halloween period; due to the mad rush of people snapping up the limited / seasonal stock the high street has available. AND even if there are bits left when you get round to doing ya spooky shop, that facepaint from Poundland isn't necessarily gonna be the best quality... or the best for your skin, hun.

I love the packaging, the colours, the designs & the thought that you can tell has gone into these products. The Skull Highlighters [the ones pictured here are shades Lovers Wrath and Blood of My Enemies] and stunning Halloween Lipsticks [pictured here in shades Corpse Bride, Blood Lust, Vampire's Thirst & Captivating Curse] being some of my absolute FAVS. Oh and did I mention this proper beaut Haunted Lights Highlighter? All skulls aside, these products are pretty AF and suitable to use in makeup looks all year round.
To rly nail that dead gal chic this Halloween [I so nearly typed Valentines Day then lol... Freudian slip, or?] this Revolution SFX 'Spectre' Face Paint Palette is ya boy. And of course, staples such as the Fake Blood, Liquid Latex and White Base Fluid pictured are also super handy to have in stock when you're looking to create some of the most grim looks humanely possible. The things people do with this sorta sh*t on Insta is UNREAL. And these tools only cost about like, £2 each to buy - so even if you don't get lucky and win this sick giveaway; they're affordable AF.
