Breaking news. Were you aware that Cosmetify sell huge brands & highly sought after products; from companies such as Charlotte Tilbury, Huda Beauty, Lime Crime, Anastasia Beverly Hills and Laura Mercier, to name just a few?! Cos I wasn't, and upon discovering this recently, I was unable to cope.
I've been lucky enough to pick out a few products from their absolutely bangin' website to share with you guys today; with a focus on updating my beauty products for Spring. I'm barely able to contain my overexcitement by this point - I finally got my hands on THAT Stila highlighter I put in all my wishlist posts & wept over for months guys - so let's crack firmly on before I get all over-emosh again.
I feel like I've been super coordinated in picking out my new Spring beauty bits. The lipstick and nail polish look so well put together, worn side by side; a muted, dusky pink vibe that - to me - perfectly symbolises the time of year we're moving into. Tulips, pastels, rosy evening skies and almost - almost - bright rays of sunshine.
I chose this Charlotte Tilbury KISSING lipstick in the shade Liv It Up*, the highlighter of my dreams from Stila [the Heaven's Dew Highlighter in Silverlake*] and this fab Barry M Gel Nails Nail polish in shade 'Rhubarb*' for this collaboration. Though it was THE hardest choice ever, narrowing down my picks from the huge variety Cosmetify have on their site. I did it though, and I'm in love with each & every one of my picks.
My favourite pick from this Spring-y trio - which I knew I'd love but didn't anticipate just quite how much, is the Charlotte Tilbury lippy. That pink-nude shade has my actual heart - in a bigger way than any boy ever could - and it's all I've worn since it arrived in my life. It's such a cute shade and so wearable, whether that's during the day orrrr as a understated nude to complement some serious smokey eye vibez. I'll repurchase this for sure. Time and time again. Forevs.
I never realised that Cosmetify stocked our queen Tilbs & this fact makes me super happy; as there's been a few times I've wanted to order some of her bits and they've been sold out on all the sites I could think of.
I've been perving on this Stila highlighter for months. And months. It's so so pretty. I'd previously sorta swerved highlighter... as as an oily skinned bird, I'd worried that it just made me look even more shiny [and like I've got a pure sweat on] - but now, I live for it & give zero / minus 12 sh*ts about my potentially sweaty-resembling exterior.
It's a velvety-sorta-moist-almost texture, which I wasn't expecting. Also, it's a different formula from what I was expecting too. I thought it'd be like, quite an intense almost silvery pigment - but it's actually really shimmery, glitzy & subtle. I like it all-the-same and I use it during the day for a more subtle glowy shimmer around my cupid's bow and nose.
Last up is this gorgeous Barry M nail polish - I do love a bitta Barry [the brand and Bazza the blow-up doll LP got me for Christmas 😂.] Rhubarb is a warm, plummy tone; with a super shiny, glossy finish. I love oxblood / red / plum-esque shades and although a lot of people associate them with Autumn / Winter, I totes opt for these shades all year round. They make me feel like a proper functioning adult, yeno?
This nail polish will be very heavily used during SS19; and I can't wait.
If, like me, you weren't aware of Cosmetify or the incredible assortment of big-name beauty brands they stock, change yo ways and get on over to their site. Now. I've bookmarked them & will 100% use them for future hauling activities - I'm made up with my SS19 picks & have used them a lot since they arrived in me life. 10/10 would recommend and / or bang.
