I can be a right mardy cow - I'll be the first to admit that. Though most of the time I can be found chortling away at my own jokes, it's hard not to get a bit bogged down and overwhelmed by life sometimes.
I've had a proper sh*te couple of years tbh - me leg fell off, I've been the poorest I've ever been, I've found myself on first name terms with the debt collectors in the local area and suffered under the reign of a bad, BAD turd of a boss until he was sacked [actual triumph.] But I was sent this fab book by Jacqueline Pirtle - '365 Days of Happiness'* recently which I'm hoping will help change my way of thinking & enhance my levels of gratitude every day.
Jacqueline [who's a energy healer & mindfulness teacher, as well as a bangin' author] wrote this fab book as a step-by-step guide on how to be truly happy. 365 Days of Happiness is exactly that - each page contains a mega cute daily message or idea to inspire you to embrace a happier lifestyle; one day at a time. Her words show us that there are things we can do to change our lives; whilst also having fun... with each page containing a message that I'd totally hashtag on Insta as #Inspo
Like a proper trooper, Jacqueline spent every day of 2017 devoted to her own happiness. She wrote every single day about the things she did to honour her joy, and used these ideas to create her fab 365 day step-by-step guide. Her goal with her new book is to teach us how to shift our mindsets to 'happy' - no matter what fresh hell is going on around us in life. Each message aims to initiate new learning, understanding, knowledge & wisdom; to achieve true happiness. Sign me up immediately, pls.
Each day, you'll open up this pretty book to find cheerful, light hearted messages & ideas of how you can achieve happiness on that day. Which is just the cutest idea ever. Jacqueline's positivity radiates through every word she writes. Even in the short time I've had this book, I feel like I've had my mind opened slightly to a new way of thinking - and if it can continue this way, I might actually crack a genuine smile once in a while & not swear my arse off when it comes to having to get up for work!!
