I get these overwhelming urges to spend money I don't have, on things I don't really need; just to ruin my own life sometimes. You feel me? I always feel guilty AF afterwards - as well as like a proper tit when I don't have enough ££ for a taxi to work or a tin of tuna to smother my pasta with. But can I stop? NoI didn't choose the recklessly poor life, the recklessly poor life defo chose me

As far as haulin' and overspending go, this online Beauty Bay order was pretty tame. It just helped take the edge off the urge, yeno? And although I'm sounding progressively more and more like a bad smackhead here, I am totes talking about makeup. Pinky promise. A N Y W A Y; let's crack on with the roundup [smackhead pun very much intended] so I can give you the tea.

The majority of the items in this smol haul are from Wet n Wild; a brand who, despite me not being able to get over how filthy sounding their name is [and me still sorta struggling to forgive them for that lipstick I bought of theirs < 3 years ago > that I had to bin cos it smelled THAT strongly of horse sh*t] I've been pyar desp to try more from... mostly cos of their cruelty free ethos and looooooow price tags.

Beauty Bay recently starting stocking their products & this new level of accessibility for this best-selling American brand meant that I had pretty much nothing holding me back from ordering it all; bar, of course, my crippling amounts of debt. I also fancied a new blusher, so I picked a similarly level of low-cost product from Jordana to try.

Where to start? Well, I guess I'll kick off with the highlight of this lil order.... yes, once again, puns are firmly intended there. My fave buy from the items above is, of course, the Wet n Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder in shade Blossom Glow. The pan is pretty, a decent size and costs just £3.75. Yaaaaaaas. And the pigment. OH MY DAYS

I've worn this highlighter on my face and across my person every damn day since it arrived in my life; and I will totes be placing a repeat order as soon as any hint of pan shows itself. I can't be without it in my life. For that price as well... sh*ts all over my previous favourite [Becca] highlighter in terms of value!!

Next up, let's talk about this Wet n Wild Color Icon 10 Pan Palette in Rosé in The Air; also just £3.75. Do I have all these colours in other palettes? Yeah, probs hun. Was I not, ONLY THE OTHER DAY, whining like a lil biatch about how bored I am of seeing warm toned palettes? Also yes. But how could I not pick one up for that price?! The palette contains two different 'looks', with a dead useful guide on the back [for total novices like me] on how to get the most outta ya new shades. Fab value.

Sticking with the eyeshadow theme - and revealing a new hoarding problem of mine, I picked up two more eyeshadow brushes. I can't stop recently. But in typical Wet n Wild fashion, these two bad boys were as cheap as [if not cheaper than] chips; with fab pink ombre bristles and ergonomically designed handles, so I'm not even mad. The brushes are super lightweight, easy to hold and soft AF. Bargains if you ask me. Crease Brush, £2 and Large Eyeshadow Brush also just £2.

Finally, last and not least, let's have a quick chat & tea spill re: that Jordana Blusher I picked up; in shade Rose Silk. I mean, she looks the part... and for only £4, she ticks my [cheapskate] boxes price wise.... but why would I be using all these ellipsis like a tw*t, other than to indicate that there's a but coming?

It smells weird. And I'm not sure how I feel about it. Its aroma sorta taints other makeup you work on top of it, the shade's not quite right for me giant face and... well, I don't wanna smell like the inside of a biro. Inky. Stinky. Not one I think I'll be repurchasing, in all honesty sorry Jordana, hun. But thumbs up on the Instagrammable aesthetic.

And that's it. We're done. Smol haul complete. With minimal weird smells, minimal cash expenditure and minimal hatred. Just a slightly ink cartridge fuelled aroma & a blusher shade a bit too light for me naturally quite yellow-y skin tone. All these items in total - and delivery - cost under £18, so if you're looking for budget beauty then dese brands are for you.

Have you tried anything from Wet n Wild before? Bought any new makeup recently? Anything else I should be aware of that smells weird?!
