As a small fry within the massive fishing net of blogging [best get buying myself some followers hadn't I, hun... as well as some better analogies xo] there aren't that many times I unwrap surprise bits of #Bloggermail. Them ones you're proper not expecting. Them ones that blow my tiny mind. But on the rare occasions I do, these surprises are normally supplied by the gals at Alex Silver PR - and regularly reduce me to pure emosh, ugly tears.
I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this, as I'm about as subtle as a poke in the eye. So let's get to it. I received a parcel from these queens full of Kiss Products' newest range of faux mink lashes recently that full on took my breath away. And this post is my way of attempting to do it justice - as well as an opportunity for me to sing my praises for these stunning falsies & how frigging amazing they are. As well as the stunning flower crown & statement Lulu Guinness case that accompanied them 💘
I try my utmost to support & endorse brands that don't test on animals where possible. Animal cruelty is not okay - it's 2018, huns. The fact that all styles in the Lash Couture collection are faux mink gets a big thumbs up from me. Not to mention what great quality they are - beautifully packaged, soft, lightweight & fluffy. #LikeMinkOnlyBetter.
The styles I was sent in this delivery of dreams [wet ones at that] are Noir*, Pitch*, Little Black Dress*, Midnight* and Gala* - and I'm obsessed with them. All. LBD were on my face pretty much straight away - I love their shape & fullness. Pitch are a more subtle style I'd style during the day & Gala are the fullest, most dramatic & eye-catching lashes I've ever seen! I'm in Lash Heaven - Leaven, as it will furthermore be called.
I affixed Little Black Dress to my lids pretty much immediately after arrival [well, slightly dramatic - after a couple of days or somethin'] to complement a warm, smokey look I created with my new Tarte Tartlette Toasted palette. And giiiiiiirl. They looked so pretty; opening up my eyes & blessing my legit lashes with volume, flirtiness & fullness that I could only have dreamed of.
Midnight have stolen my heart [well, part of it - a large percentage was already bagsied by sausage dogs & cheddar] - look how beautifully full, flicky and long they are 😍 I'm saving these absolute tens to do my makeup with for a black tie event I'm going to in October - I can't WAIT to create a really dramatic, eye-poppin' look with them. And with my boobs. I've ordered what looks to be a really pretty floor length gown from Next, so we'll see how that goes. And if the twins actually fit in said dress.
Noir are again; a style right up my street. I'd wear this sorta style during the day - I am, admittedly, extra AF & as this style is slightly finer and more subtle than Midnight; I think I can pull it off. I wear falsies every single day of my existence because I just love them so much and look like a naked mole rat / troll without them now.
Gala are an INSANELY long, full & dramatic lash - I lost my ability to cope and / or my sh*t when I unboxed these bad boys. They're beautiful. Almost too beautiful to use [almost.] Thanks to the lightweight, non-mink fibres which combine to make these gorgeous, fluttery things; even though they are some of the biggest lashes I've ever seen they'll still be comfortable to wear. And not like lifting weights with your eyelids!
Pitch are very pretty, spikey sorta lashes; ideal for a glam AF yet more subtle daytime look. I wouldn't wear much eyeshadow with these I don't think - and would [try to] tone down my obsession with winged eyeliner; as they're so pretty and feminine, they deserve a chance to do the talking. Each style of lashes unique, stunning & pretty AF - I feel emosh & blessed AF right now 💘 Thank you once again, Alex Silver!
