I've always loved Glo & Ray [their loose eyeshadow pigments forever being a fave of mine] ... so when their new collection of Cheek Wonder Blushers* landed on my doorstep recently [lolol let's paint an illusion of me being rich and having a house with a letterbox & proper door, yeah?] I was made up. For realz.
I've posted about them on me Insta and worn Plumlicious on my [face, not bum] cheeks every day since this parcel of triumph arrived with me, but I felt their beauty is too intense to not share more deets about them in a blog post [with about 234829634 obligatory photos, obv] so now we here.
Glo & Ray are a UK based company; who draw pure inspo from the natural wonder of light when designing their products. Which, in turn, inspires me. I love their ethos and cruelty free morals [yaaaaaaas kweens] & since the world of blogging brought the brand into my life, I've used their products pretty much on the daily.
These blushers look good enough to eat. I love their alternate, minimal white packaging design [most of my G&R products sport black or metallic grey outers] & dat gradient blusher - OHMYLIFE.
The shades you see here are 01 Dolly Pink* [the palest pan], 02 Plumlicious* [the BRIGHT PINK], 03 Violet Viola* [the, not surprisingly, violet blusher] and [the gradient one] 04 Rainbow Galaxy*. They're each beautiful, on-point shades that remind me of sweets, candyfloss & angels. They're silky, smooth & soft - meaning there's no harsh lines or disasters when applying them. Quite the opposite, in fact. Their soft formula gives you full control of how intense you want the finished look to be. I typically build the colour when using mine; blending a couple of layers for a lightly flushed [face, not bum] cheek. They're very pigmented though - this is Rainbow Galaxy & Plumlicious swatched.
I'm a little obsessed with these new additions to my life - and it's not surprising really when you look at them, is it?! Now when you look at me and see my [face, not bum] cheeks flushed with a healthy looking colour, you can hazard a guess that it's Glo & Ray illuminating my complexion... not just me blushing [& cringing] internally thinking about something rly tragic I did in 2010. Or about that boy in the office who pied me. Livin' ma best life 2018.
Have you tried anything from this brand before? Thank you once again Glo & Ray for blowing me away & filling my life and face with light & radiance xo
