I've perved on Becca face products for a long time. A long, long time. But never actually got round to trying them; thanks to their pure steep price tags vs my tragic poverty situation.

Last month, I went full on rogue on Cult Beauty; putting a ridiculously large order in... solely for the sh*ts & gigs rly [well, for that and the free goody bag they were giving away in celebration of their 10th anniversary.] So I thought, as part of said rogue order, it'd be a good time to try out a couple of bits from the brand. And I've totes fell in love with the products I went with. Blog post time!

I don't know why, but I seem to have taken like bugger all images for this post. And all the ones I have are pretty much the same. Wut.

I swear I'd taken more, but I can't find them... and the products themselves are nowhere near in as photogenic condition now. The highlighter has hit pan, badly - and the powder is close to having ran out. Which is just brilliant. I might have to wait till I reorder them again and snap some sneaky pics to add in.

So. A few near identical pics later, and here we are. The two Becca baes I opted for [and blatantly rushed off to use, rather than properly photograph, though I swear I had pure photos of them in a flatlay form... am I finally going senile?] were the Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Powder Highlighter, in Moonstone [the mini version obv, cos I'm poor AF. Oh, and also, that's the product on the right] and the Becca Undereye Brightening Setting Powder

Although expensive AF for the actual size of the tub & the amount of setting powder you get in it [daylight robbery in all honesty], I do quite like this Becca Undereye Brightening stuff. Whether it's my mind playing tricks on me - or that dose of senility I'm obv rocking these days, it does seem to perk my eyes up and brighten the insanely huge purple bags they permanently rock these days. I'll most likely repurchase it, because a] YOLO and b] I'm irresponsible as hell when it comes to money.

The real one to write home about here, is the highlighter. As my idol Borat would say, WAWAWEEWA!!

I've never really been a huge fan of highlighter until recently; as being the oily, shiny beast that I am, I've always worried that brushing additional shimmer onto me massive face would make the problem seem worse. This product was the one that changed the game for me. I use it to contour my nose, to accentuate me cupid's bow, in the inner of my eyes, on my brow bones and to highlight the top of my cheek bones - and it's blindin' & natural looking in equal measure. Here's a rancid selfie of me embracing the glow these two products combined gives me.

Well gang, I'm off to search for my missing photos now - I don't think I can rest until I either prove myself right or prove to myself that I'm slowly losing my sh*t. I've really enjoyed trying out Becca face / complexion products & will definitely be over-spending on more soon.

What are your fav Becca bits? Have you tried either of these products before?
