I'm not going to lie, taking my makeup off at night is probably my least favourite thing to do. Along with cleaning out the bin, defrosting the freezer and paying my towering stack of soul-crushing bills. More often than not, I'll just nod off with it on - and I know there are so many skincare gurus out there who will want to chin me after reading that, but soz; that's just my life. I go big after work trying to get stuff done, tire myself out and then nod off... like the little old woman I am.

I've been using this Embryolisse Micellar Water* recently though, which has definitely helped encourage me to take my makeup off at night. I think part of the reason I hate this task so much ordinarily is purely because of how boring it is... but this easy to use and effective cleansing water is pretty fun and smells amazing, so it gives me positive reinforcement to use it more often. Meaning I wake up looking like The Joker much less these days.

Embryolisse are best known for their Lait Créme Concentré cream - which is HUGE news right now. On average, a bottle of this stuff sells every 23 seconds in the UK; which is just insane. It's rapidly become a staple in the makeup bags of many celeb make-up artists, as it can be used as a primer, moisturiser AND / or make-up remover - making it three products in one!

This Micellar Water from their range has become one of my firm favourites when it comes to skincare and taking my makeup off; so going off my experiences with it, I can totally imagine all the hype about the Lait Créme Concentré Lotion being 100% well-deserved.

Suitable for all skin types [inc sensitive skin] and gentle enough to use on the face, eyes and lips; this handy Micellar Lotion makes life easy when it comes to wiping off your slap at the end of the day... whilst cleansing and toning your skin at the same time. It removes makeup, cleanses and tones all in one go - making it the ULTIMATE life hack for gals like me. Ie a bit lazy, enjoys a quick fix and avoiding life responsibilities / adulting.

It gets every last scrap of makeup off your skin, I'll tell you that for free. But unlike other micellar waters I've tried in the past - it doesn't hurt whilst doing so. It doesn't sting your eyes when you use it to remove touch patches of mascara [even waterproof products] - and no matter how many times you go over the same patch of skin using it, you're not left feeling dry, tight or stingy

Its formula boasts micelles (gentle cleansing agents) in solution in cornflower, camomile and witch-hazel water, combined with glycerin to soften, soothe and tone the skin. And the smell is gorgeous; relaxing, natural and sweet. It's a massive yes from me.
