[Belated] Little Known Box August 2017 Review*

Well, I think this is a new record for me in being late. Apart from last weekend, where I set an alarm for 7:30am and woke up at quarter past two in the afternoon... that was a pretty good go too. LOL. What is my actual life?

I received this beaut Little Known Box in August [this is the August 2017 Scent & Colour Edit*] but unfortunately life has kinda got in the way of me posting this review since then. I was busy being chopped up and dissected in hospital for the majority of August 2017, hooked up to an IV drip for all September, then back in for a cheeky operation in October and I'm due back for more surgery funsies too soon. This year, tho *insert upside down smiley face here.*

So, anyway. This beautifully curated box is the August 2017 Little Known Box. We've established that. But what's in it / what's it all about? WELL baes. Well. This month's box has been put together to stimulate ya senses; packed full of bright colours and beaut smells. It's a fab mix of makeup, beauty & skincare - and true to its name, from the moment our boy Paul the Postman dropped this off with me; the most glorious of fragrances filled the room.

You'll find a bright, super pigmented Saturated Colour Lip Vinyl [full size] nestling in the iconic black & gold LKB packaging in this month's box; in one of various shades [picked according to your Beauty Preferences Survey answers.] The second full size makeup product to expect is this totes BEAUT 6 Shades of Nude Eyeshadow Compact from Cougar Beauty; which packs 6 shimmery shades of triumph into one pretty fix.

Next up comes the seductive scents part of the box. Little Known Box have popped three lux AF fragranced bits into August's edit - a relaxing, sensual MONU Skin Relaxing Body Oil [perfect for couple's massages... or just getting bae to treat ya], a full size handcrafted soap bar from Friendly Soap [available in various fragrances] and a fab sachet of Maison Meunier Radiance Body Scrub... the first ever coffee product in LKB! And yous know I'm a BIG fan of brews, so this sits proper well with me.

You could legit smell the beautifully fresh, natural fragrance of this totes organic, handmade soap the moment Paul the Postman delivered it into my life. Like, through the two boxes it was encased in. It's GLORIOUS. Friendly Soap's products are green, ethical, handmade and super affordable - which is a massive tick in my trampy book of life. You'll receive one of these beaut Lip Vinyls in your August Box, should you decide to order yourself / a loved one this edit. I just have a couple of the potential shades here to show off - as an example of what could well be waiting for you inside that stunning black & gold exterior. 

The pigmentation & colour pay-off of these glosses is INSANE - they're so bright and fun; yet dead good quality. I'm especially obsessed with the pink - I WILL be Barbie one day okay xox

Maison Meunier Coffee Scrub, Travel Size, 50g

I properly adore coffee / sugar scrubs and the way they leave my skin feeling post-shower; so I was made up to get me mitts on this one in August's box. I obv used it pretty much straight away - and true to form, my skin was left feeling tonnes more alive and beautifully soft post-scrub. GOD I love coffee - is there anything it can't do?!
