Wow. These Dr Roebuck's products, guys. Just wow. I'm not even really that much of an esteemed skincare specialist [yas all know that I still enjoy a good facewipe within my beauty regime]... but I can tell you - RIGHT NOW, that my skin has legit BLOSSOMED since this gorgeous bundle of serums, scrubs and creams came into my life. If you're not familiar with the brand... pls, grab a brew and get yourself acquainted. The only tea getting spilt here is the one in the mug beside me - which is flying about everywhere as I'm frantically typing up this post of love & appreciation like a madwoman.
As suggested by the beaut, simple & clean aesthetic of their packaging; Dr Roebuck's products themselves very much follow this ethos. This Australian skincare brand are new to the UK & pride themselves on products that contain minimal ingredients, but yet give maximum results. Clean formulas, including only the quality ingredients ya skin actually needs - and nothing it doesn't. They're not pumped full of fillers, chemicals or unnecessary scientific names [I never know how to pronounce any of that shiz, hbu?] - just pure, active ingredients, that get the job done. In the UK you can order their products from Selfridges or via Sephora.
I was very kindly sent three of Dr Roebuck's cult serums; alongside a set of minis in their Healthy Skin Pack* - which I've been trying out for the past few weeks. And I cannot even explain just how much my skin has lapped these products up. My complexion is plumper, softer, more supple and youthful looking - and I've been noticeably less oily; meaning my makeup has applied and stayed on my face much better.
I've loved being able to try a range of Dr Roebuck's products via the Healthy Skin Pack - though these products maybe minis [loooool don't even get me started on that Twitter sh*tstorm] they have lasted me an incredibly long time so far and they're super handy for travelling, too. Polish is my fav; I love how fresh and exfoliated my skin feels after using it. I alternate between Face and Pure after I've cleansed & exfoliated, applying these luxurious creams to hydrate my skin. Pure feels unreal when used after patting one of the serums [Protect & Prevent* is my fav pick serum-wise at the moment] onto my skin.
These potent little serums are life, game and face changing. I absolutely love their aesthetic and their little dropper applicators - they're an absolute treat for your skin and senses. I've been rly hammering the Protect & Prevent Serum at the moment; and my skin has honestly never looked so healthy & fresh. My poor diet & lack of going outside normally means I look like some form of mutant, but now I can fake actually being healthy and it's great.
They're lightweight, not tacky / oily and beautifully refreshing & zesty. I normally warm around 3 - 5 drops of my chosen bottle through in my palms before gently patting the serum onto my face post-cleanse... and it's ridiculously triumphant. I can't believe that we in the UK have been deprived of some an amazing brand for so long tbh!
There are a trillion things I love about blogging & getting involved / working with different companies to promote honest opinions of their products. But undoubtedly, the best part of it all is having the privilege to try out luxurious skincare brands such as Dr Roebuck's that are a] new to the UK and b] would normally be out of my price range.
I've legit been left shook [and yous know I don't say that about many things / ever cos yeno, too old to pull the saying off haha] by this brand & how effective their pure formulas have been in brightening, softening and refreshing my complexion. I'd highly, highly, highly recommend giving this brand a go, if you get a chance. The mini kits are fab for trying their general products and I feel every gal needs to invest in at least one of these serums, to experience their luxurious magic for yoself.
