I'm probably at one of my top five happiest ever levels when I'm sat watching Dr Pimple Popper extraction videos on Insta... way into the night, when I should totes be sleeping, obv. Yolo. Therefore when these goodies from Misfit Cosmetics landed in my life [namely, this super enticing Blackhead Extraction Paste Peel Off Mask*] my attention was very much piqued & the stuff was on my face as soon as I'd taken a few snaps of it. Cos yeno, you can't just dive straight in there and risk ruining that Insta aesthetic, queens. #DoingItForThe'Gram

I just loooooove clearing out dem pores & peeling stuff [be this off of my face or on my nails; as you may have read about here] - these slightly unusual activities are two I'd probs rank in my top ten hobbies tbh. So how did these products live up to my expectations? Was the mask as a-peeling as it sounded going off first impressions [hahaha I'm so punny]? What is a Wake Up Wipe* [I am aware I've got a bit carried away talking about the Extraction Paste thus far, but these baes are also from Misfit... are they fit or a mis{s}]? All will be revealed with a cheeky scroll or two, gang.

Currently on offer for just £5 a bottle, this cruelty free, dead a-peeling [soz, I will stop with the Dad jokes in-a-bit, I promise] Blackhead Extraction Peel Off Mask is proper good fun. I love its formula ... unlike other, similar masks I've tried before; a little goes a long way this one - plus it spreads dead evenly and dries quick[ish] too. It's definitely a contender for one of the best peel off extraction masks I've ever tried

I know on Insta a lot of girls just apply this stuff to their problem zones; but my whole face is a problem, so I decided to get in there like swimwear and apply it all over. It dried quickly, evenly and the littlest blob actually spread out to give a lot more coverage than I expected. Again, unlike other products from the blackhead extraction market, once dried; this mask legit peeled off in huge sheets - if I was more patient, I could have totally done the most satisfying 'all off in one' removal... but I'm not. I was having too much fun to be careful.

Once applied, this paste is pretty much like glue / wax; so for the love of God, avoid your eyebrows & sideburns ppl. It's a little painful when you peel it off [especially if you do it slowly, like I did - cos I was totally staring at my pores the whole time; trying to see the extractions with my naked human eye] - but no pain, no gain and all that

My skin's not too bad at the moment, so sadly I wasn't able to recreate the grossest Dr Pimple Popper videos... but the mask definitely lifted some surface impurities out, brought up deeper set pore blockages & blackheads to the surface [ready for round two!] and removed the 'peach fuzz' & dead skin on my face - leaving it beautifully refreshed, smooth and soft AF. Definitely one I'll use again.

Misfit's Wakeup Wipes come in the form of 25 soft face wipes [which are only £3.99 a pack]; that contain powerful, deep penetrating [ooh err] caffeine and cucumber extracts to wake up ya face & stop you feeling / looking half dead during those early mornings. They're lovely & refreshing and 100% wake up my tired skin after those sly early morning alarm clock calls have ruined me life. I have these next to my bed for wake up emergencies... which is pretty much every morning before work, as I am NOT an early bird in any way, shape or form.

I'd never tried anything from Misfit Cosmetics before, but I'm really glad I've had the opportunity to for this post. The Wake Up Wipes are perfect for sleepy morning wakeups - or to take on the plane with ya to freshen up onboard during a long flight... and the Blackhead Extraction Paste is too fun to possibly find any form of fault with. Especially now it's reduced so dramatically on the website!

Have you used any Misfit Cosmetics products before? What are your thoughts on spot popping & blackhead extraction videos - are you as oddly fascinated with them as I am, or do you think I'm some kind of deviant now?!
