Has there ever been a greater email received in LIFE than one offering you the chance to review Prosecco? I'll answer that for you huns - NO. I'd pop the experience of Prosecco PR right up there in the top ten #Bloggermail parcels to ever bless my life; in the four-ish [lol, where has the time gone?!] years I've renewed this domain & beasted out the occasional blogpost.
In it's lux AF pink packaging & trademark sleek glass bottle, Petite Prosecco* had me drooling from the get-go. It's Instagrammable AF, defo my tipple of choice these days [this or a glass / bottle of red] and low in calories & sugar. Oh - and vegan friendly! Bottoms up!
This prosecco might be low on calories & sugar; but it's full of bubbles, flavour and booze. It's actually one of the nicest tasting proseccos I've tried in a long time - & I can 100% confirm that the fact it's low on the unhealthier elements [when compared to other bottles of bubbly] does not mean it's less tasty than ya bog standard bottle.
It's defo much less bitter, lots more fizzy and feels lighter as you're drinking it too - a little like a refreshing shandy. Except a much healthier option for ya Saturday night with the gals.
Petite Prosecco contains only 59 calories per 100ml; with only 6 grams of residual sugar - hence its name. And it's made in the Italian town of Treviso [somewhere I really wanna visit] - which is appaz the home of prosecco and the best grapes in the business.
Yes, I agree with the treat yo self mentality and I'm not one for fad diets or calorie counting... but when it comes to luxury, non-essential products [such as alcohol, which is a nice to have rather than a need to have product... although I guess after that week in the office, this bottle borders on the need side of the scale] I think it's a great idea to look for healthier alternatives.
PP has the same great taste [better, IMO] than ya bog standard bottle of fizz from the Asda up the road; just with less calories and sugar. It just makes sense.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I popped the cork on this bad boy. Prosecco and wine can either be insanely fit or dead vinegary and sh*t.
But I'm happy to announce - hand on heart - that Petite Prosecco falls under the insanely fit category [and I can defo vouch for that, as I've got a glass of it in my hand as I type!] and is one of the nicest bottles of bubbly I've had in a long time. Definitely nicer than the stuff I was drinking at my friend's engagement party the other weekend... which may or may not have resulted in me hugging the toilet bowl for a few horrific minutes the morning after!
At just £12.99 a bottle, Petite Prosecco is as affordable as it is fit [ie very!] and a beverage I'll definitely be ordering for my next night in [or out!] with the girls. I'm proper impressed [& slightly giddy rn, as this isn't my first glass; hahahaha] and completely free of guilt RN, thanks to the lower calorie & sugar count in every sip. Yaaaaaaaas!
