Oh Ari 😍 Though I'm about 40 years older than her target demographic and I do not understand all this Stan Twitter malarky, I properly love her. I just think she's amazing, yeno? A ded strong female icon for younger girls to look up to.
Everything she did for Manchester in the wake of the attack was just phenomenal, and I wept for about 2 months straight over the One Love benefit concert she pulled together. I still get chills & teary-eyed listening to One Last Time.
As you know, Ari's just launched her new perfume, Cloud*, now available at The Fragrance Shop [who have tonnes of fab offers on at the moment, including an event as we speak for Singles Awareness Day with 15% off!] - which I was lucky enough to receive recently. And as a] the bottle is so damn cute and b] the fragrance itself is fit; I thought I'd toddle on over to me blog today & tell yous a bit more about it.
In fun, holographic, iridescent packaging; Cloud is as its name suggests - airy & uplifting, with a sprinkling of rain-esque deeper notes & a big ol' fluffy marshmallow finish. It's sweet but with a mysterious, invigorating base - very different to Ari's other fragrances in terms of packaging & aroma. But probably one of my faves in all honesty.
The bottle has a totes cute cloud shaped lid & comes with the cloud shaped stand you'll see in my pics; making it perfect to proudly display on ya dresser / shrine to perfumes. I think she's nailed the whole thing tbh - the packaging, branding, bottle & fragrance are very on brand and the Cloud experience has been perfectly executed.
I'm a big fan of sassy yet sweet fragrances - they make me ded happy... so Cloud ticks all my boxes. It's not as sweet & airy as Ari's older perfume releases, meaning it's suited to a wider age range and that the notes of the perfume are a little longer lasting on the skin.
It's the ideal perfume to transition into Spring with, and I'll be using up every last drop before likely restocking. Yaaaaas Ari, yaaaaaas The Fragrance Shop and yaaaaaas to smelling fit AF in 2019 ☁
