Dollibox* day is one of my favourite days of the month - pretty much on par with payday <3 Every month a pretty parcel of pink goodness and sparkles [always sparkles] lands on my doorstep and it makes my day to unwrap it all. It's always such a cute and varied mix of products - served with a dash of magic. As I'm already a little late to the party posting this review, I'm just going to dive straight in.
Dollibox May 2017 Edit
Exclusive - Deborella Mermaid Necklace, Full Size, RRP £6
This super cute necklace has been made exclusively for Dollibox and their subscribers - and just look how fab it is! I know most bloggers are aaaaall about dat mermaid life, so about a million friends popped into mind when I first clapped my eyes on this. I love that jewellery was included in this month's box - it's always nice to have a bit of variety.
Deborella are a new company creating mostly lasercut jewellery and stationery - but will soon be heading into wedding and birthday gifts too. Their website is packed full of mermaid vibes, pink and glitter; so it's pretty much obligatory that all bloggers will love them.
Cougar Rich Honey Moisturiser, Full Size, RRP $17.90
Honey is insanely good for your skin isn't it - anything containing the magical medicine of bees ranks highly with me. I'm also very partial to skincare in glass bottles, so I'm very excited to smother my face in this. I've used honey products on my face before and find them super-nourishing, so this'll definitely get some good use.
Rich in vitamins and mineral, honey is a natural antiseptic. It works to effectively heal minor skin irritations and blemishes [which is like, my entire face rn] but without drying out the skin. It's also great for dry and sensitive skin - and contains extracts of banana! Legit sounds good enough to eat, doesn't it?
Focalallure Face Blush, Full Size, RRP $7.99
glimmerglamour.com
Now I won't lie, I was pretty darn sure this was an eyeshadow. An orange-toned blush would NOT suit my skintone, so I've been using it for weeks on my eyes and legit loving it. Blissfully unaware that this is actually a blusher. I'm all about those warm tones at the moment - and this shade, Tipsy delivers. Whether this be on your face, or on your eyes! I'm also in love with their minimal packaging and branding - how high end and beautiful does this look?!
These gorgeous Soymilk matte blushers / eyeshadows come in 11 different shades and are fabulously smooth and silky against the skin. They can also be used lightly on your cheeks, forehead, chin and / or nose and blended well for a healthy, radiant glow.
Seacret Makeup Removing Wipes, Full Size, RRP £19.95
I've tried these wipes before [in last month's Little Known Box] but absolutely loved them; so was made up to get another packet haha! You can never have too much of a good thing, amiright?! I love the lux, soft feel of these wipes and their light fragrance.
These oil-based makeup remover wipes effectively clean the skin of even the most stubborn makeup [even waterproof products!] whilst hydrating your skin simultaneously; providing you with a smooth and soothing sensation.
Leopard Cat Eyebrow Palette, Full Size, RRP £5.26
Erm, how cute is this packaging please?! As a cat and eyebrow enthusiast, seeing these two things come together is legit a dream come true. I love how high end and luxurious this eyebrow palette looks, even though it's a total bargain. The eyebrow powders inside [and tiny brush!] are lovely & soft and very wearable shades.
Use this set to create thicker, fuller and more defined brows.
Palmers Coconut Oil Deep Conditioning Protein Pack, Travel Size, RRP £2.09
I legit never even knew Palmers even did hair products until the other week when I was reading Megan McCoig's blog... but I was super excited to receive this in May's Dollibox as I love Palmers as a brand and the smell of their coconut infused products. This mask didn't disappoint either - it smelled fantastic and left my hair feeling sleeker and healthier.
And that's a wrap guys - another month, another great curation of products from Dollibox. I'm always so happy with their boxes and love the overall experience dealing with them as a company - seeing that pink parcel waiting for me when I get in from a long day makes it all worthwhile.
If you fancy subscribing to Dollibox you can find out more here. It's super affordable and there's no long-term contracts or hidden costs. They actually have tonnes of amazing offers on at the moment - check their Twitter where I've seen they're tweeting out an offer to get July's Dollibox for just £5 + P&P - which is amazing value!
Have you tried products from any of the brands in May's Dollibox? What's your favourite item from the box?
*This post contains PR samples; but some of the most beaut samples ever, which I couldn't not be in love with, right?!
