You just know a beauty box is gonna be a good one when there's that many products inside that they a] won't all fit in one flatlay and b] wouldn't even all fit in the box they arrived in! I've wept about this box countless times over on the 'Gram, and today's the day it finally hits down on me blog. Life's been so bloody busy recently that I'm a bit behind on everything blog-wise sorry, but I'll get there. Cos WHO NEEDS SLEEP ANYWAY, yeno?
Right. Well. This edit of Latest In Beauty is their Sainsbury's Beauty Awards 2019 box* and I genuinely think this might be my favourite curation of theirs to date. It's one of THE best value for money boxes to ever plop through me door - for the price [£25], there is just so much in there and so many fab brands to discover. In total, there's 14 products [all award-nominated] with 9 of these being full-sized.
I'm unable to even get my intense adoration for this box out into words. So it's probs time to roll out about 32,000 photos & hope you get the gist of what I'm saying through them instead, I guess 🤣

How incredible is that line-up please?! Can you see why am so giddy now? Obviously I love so many of the goodies in this box - and was made up with some of the new names I get to try as part of this experience [such as Natura & Beauty Pro] but this post is just sorta gonna focus on some of my standout goodies from now onwards. Or else literally... it'd be so long you'd not be able to cope & my bounce rate would get even worse. Blogger probs.
I wasn't expecting to find myself typing this, but one [well, two] of my fave goodies from in this box were the shampoo & conditioner from Love Beauty & Planet. Maybe it's a sign of how old I'm getting that these kinda products floated my boat one of the most... but just look at them. Their packaging is stunning, they're vegan-friendly, they smell ABSOLUTELY INSANELY FIT andddd they work minor detangling miracles on my wild bird's nest of hair. 10/10 would repurchase & hope they win the award they're nominated for.
This L'Oreal eye cream is another unexpected yet unreal production found nestling in this curation of goodies. Another prime example of how old I'm getting. But yolo.
This stuff is ded nice - and thanks to its peachy, colour correcting colour; it really does make a visible difference to the under eye area when applied. It also looks properly nice in its posh gold pot, and I'm a sucker for pretty things to display on my dressing table; like a massive tanned magpie.
Call me uneducated and / or naive [you're probs 100% bang on the money as well] but I didn't realise Sainsbury's had their own brand of makeup. And I genuinely thought this liquid highlighter was like, a posh boutique brand; until I did me research. It's proper nice isn't it - and it properly gleams. Brighter than my future. Considerably, tbh.
I lost my sh*t when I noticed this Super Facialist Cleansing Oil was included in this LiB box. Let's not try and sugarcoat it... I did a ded big gasp accompanied with a really unflattering series of noises and facial expressions when I spotted it. I really love this stuff - it smells so fresh & zesty [but like, in a fit way, not like Smart Price lemon zest floor cleaner.] It's so gentle yet effective on the skin - I was genuinely buzzing to get me hands on another bottle of this, as I'm nearly out of the bottle I'm working my way through currently.
I'm obsessed with the smell of this stuff. A brand & product I was originally introduced to by my huns Little Known Box, Feather & Down Pillow Spray is a product I use all the time. Struggling to sleep? Spray a bitta this on. Changed the bed? Soak it with this mist. It smells so good that I can't cope and would wear it as perfume if I could.... and I was just about out of this stuff in the bottle I was using before this box arrived. So this lil top-up saved me.
Bit overdramatic but I think by this stage in the post, you'll have established that that's a crucial part of who I am as a person.
SO. In as concise-a-nutshell as I could, that's the Latest In Beauty Sainsbury's Beauty Awards 2019 edit. Unboxed, flatlayed to buggery and in all its glory. What did you think?
