I am obsessed with lashes - the bigger, the better.
I'm pretty much on a permo quest to find THE mascara which can give me the insane eyelashes of my dreams. Though I wear falsies daily at the moment, I would love to find a product which gives me the same look; as it's a right ballache some mornings, fiddling around with lash glue when you're already running approx fifteen years late for work.
Although perfection was very nearly achieved with my Nouveau Lashes LVL Treatment, this unfortunately still couldn't give my feeble, wispy eyelashes the thickness / volume they so desperately need [though they are always left insanely curled and lifted once Lisia has worked her magic on them.] So when one of my fave beauty brands of the moment, BPerfect, sent me their Brush On Lashes Mascara* to trial, it was like all my Christmases had come at once. Brushing my lashes on in a morning is always going to be easier than gluing them on! Amiright?
I love BPerfect - since discovering their highly renowned brow powder last year [read my review here, if you want, like] I've used it religiously every single day; so from the moment this sexy silver mascara landed on my doorstep, I had nothing but high expectations for Brush On Lashes, too. And quite rightly so.
Brush On Lashes is a three step fibre mascara, designed as an alternative to eyelash extensions. It works by using a gel based formula combined with a green tea fibre to give a defined and natural look. Adding tonnes of volume and length
Now, if you're a long time reader of my blog, you may have read about my hatred for the Younique Fibre Lash Mascara and how sh*t I think it is. So I did have a few reservations about this fibre mascara before I tried it, purely because of the bad past experiences I've had. But I can safely say it's nothing like the sick joke that is Younique, and I really, really love it.
Application
Step One : In order to get the lashes of your dreams, start off by applying a generous amount of the Lengthening Gel to your top and bottom eyelashes, being careful not to miss any out.
Step Two : Calls for this fluffy fella - whilst your lashes are still wet with the Lengthening Gel, apply a coat of the Enhancement Fibres to your lashes [focussing on the tips] and allow it to set for twenty seconds or so.
Step 3 : Finish up with a second application of the Lengthening Gel mascara to seal the fibres in place. You can then repeat Steps 2 & 3 as many times as you like, for your desired effect of maximum length and fullness.
The Results : I love this fibre mascara because, unlike others I've tried, it doesn't make my lashes look like a thousand baby spiders have climbed into my lashes and died. It actually adds thickness and volume to my eyelashes, and doesn't just add fibres to the end that make them look longer, but sparser than ever *cough* Younique* *cough.*
It definitely gives - even my eyelashes, which are pretty feeble - a false lash effect; which lasts all day. And of course, its packaging is total goals and looks amazing. I'm really impressed. Just look at my before and afters, if you don't believe me. The results speak for themselves.
Also, another raaaaging plus point for Brush On Lashes is that the little fibres don't have pure fall-out issues during application, or during the day [as found with, you guessed it, crappy Younique.] They latch on naturally, and build up with each coat; for a subtle yet eye opening effect.
Brush On Lashes has become a staple in my day to day makeup routine; as has BPerfect's Brow Powder. The thickness and definition this stuff adds to my lashes is insane - I'm really, really impressed. I definitely need to try more from this brand, and also to thank them for changing my perception of fibre lash mascaras!
Have you tried a fibre lash mascara before? Which BPerfect Cosmetics products have you used? If the answer's none, you totally need to get some on that wishlist, girl!
