It's here. Christmas party season. That time of the year when everyone embraces the YOLO attitude I've been following in 2018; with the tagline of 'f*ck it, it's Christmas.' For example:
Friend: "Town?"
Me: "Ah f*ck it, it's Christmas."
Friend: "Takeaway?"
Me: "Ah f*ck it, it's Christmas."
Friend: "After work sesh?"
Me: "Ah f*ck it, it's Christmas."
And aside from the fact it's Winter now and abso freezin, I properly live for this lifestyle & the amount of festive partying it brings about. I've compiled a lil roundup of Christmas Party Season Essentials for today's post; which I thought I'd publish now, ahead of the Season of the Sesh, so you can get stocked up & prepared. Cos you never know when the call of the tinsel headbands & vodka shots is going to chime out - all you can do is make sure you're prepared for it. And know that it is going to happen.
It's important to not overlook the essentials & just go straight in for the sequins when embracing the "f*ck it, it's Christmas' approach to life. You don't wanna finally get that absolute ten from ya local under the mistletoe; only for him to recoil in horror at ya death-breath.
Or, if you're into hair removal [you might not be - and that's okay too hun], you don't wanna get out into town with that fit AF bodycon on; feelin' yaself, only to remember you haven't shaved ya legs for about a millennium & it looks like you're wearing furry leggings. Battle Death-Breath & Flash Dem Pearly Whites
There's inevitably gonna be a lot of unplanned pics of you, smashed, gurning away on social media over the festive season. Even if you don't drink, the atmosphere is contagious & it only takes one candid photo of you passionately singing 'LIVIN' ON A PRAYER!' with a piece of spinach stuck in ya gnashers to ruin your day & cause you to spend hours begging ya pals to untag you.
A few of my fav products to help counteract these shameful sorta scenarios are the Beverly Hills Formula Black Pearl Whitening Toothpaste*, DenTek's Easy Brush Cleaners* [basically like posh floss] and the very fab HumbleBrush Toothbrush* included in this post.
I've spoken about how much I love Beverly Hills Formula Whitening Toothpaste before [in this post] - and this passionate obsession hasn't lessened in any way since then. I honestly believe this brands' products are some of the most effective in teeth whitening I've ever used - I can really tell the difference when testing the results against similar products which claim to have the same effects. These lil DenTek brushes are perfect for brushing inbetween your teeth; they're a product my dentist has actually used and recommended for me before, and something I buy pretty regularly in the fight against death breath. They really help keep inbetween ya teeth clean & prevent any sh*t building up. All contributing to a whiter, healthier smile.
And although a new brand to me before this post, I'm big into HumbleBrush now too. This totes eco-friendly, on-fleek & sustainably designed toothbrush is lightweight AF [perfect for travelling], gives a proper decent level of clean & does so much good, too.

De-Fuzz
Now I'm not being dramatic [okay I am, cos I always am] but this new Wilkinson Sword Intuition F.A.B Razor* is like, the best razor I've ever used [and again, on offer in Superdrug right now.]
If you aren't familiar with this bangin' new concept, F.A.B [as well as the perfect adjective to describe the product] stands for front and back... it's the first razor I've seen / used with blades that allow you to shave in either direction. Say WUUUUUUUT?! And it's such a close yet gentle shave too.
It sounds like a proper mad concept; but it's not yeno. I can't believe I didn't invest in one of these sooner, tbh. The handle is really well designed [much better than my old Venus, which hit the bin the minute I unboxed this bad boy] and easy to hold; with grips and a gummy end [ooh-err] for a precise shave.
It has two sections of blades - one facing one way, the other; facing the [erm] other. This pure innovative design means you can effortlessly shave forward & back; for a closer & quicker shave. It's bloody brilliant. Officially, these blades are called 'bi-directional' & in easier-to-understand-terms; this basically means that the top blades shave up & the bottom blades shave down. Get one, hun. See wot I mean for yaself.
Flawless Legs
St Moriz coming THRU with this one! 🙌 I love St Moriz more than most things [definitely more than boys] and I've used their fake tan since 2010. I love their products' consistent results, price tags & availability. I blog about them all the time, I wear them all the time, I drunkenly tell people in toilets about their tanning sorcery all the time. BUT I HAD NO IDEA UNTIL NOW THAT THEY MADE THIS PRODUCT; and for me, it's like all my Christmases have come at once.
I've used Sally Hansen's Airbrush Legs since like, 2008 or something? I've always been a big fan... but of the price tag? Not so much. St Moriz's Professional Leg Tanning Spray* is on Fragrance Direct's site for just £3.99. £3.99. I CAN'T COPE. This stuff sprays on a lovely bronzey colour; acting as makeup for ya legs. It evens out your complexion, covers any bruises from ya last night on the sesh & leaves you with the nicest all-over glow. SOLD.
Pucker Up
Let's finish this post up with a slick of lippy from a new brand to my life. A new brand I now stan in a big way. The brand in question are Perfect Shade Beauty; and their gorge lip products, stunning collection & HOT packaging have really caught my attention. The icing on the cake to your fab festive beauty look.
I was very kindly sent this lipstick & matte liquid lipgloss from Perfect Shade recently - and they've blown me away. They're insanely pigmented & the nicest shades. The reddy lipstick shade has become one I reach for all the time... and the bright pink lipgloss I am made up with becauseeeee it's cool toned. Most of the neon or bright pinks in my collection are sadly quite warm u c, meaning they clash against my complexion & make me sad. BUT NOT THIS GUY!
