I've got a fab brand to share with you guys today - one you may have previously tried before; under their old name of Optiat. These guys have rebranded, expanded & evolved into something even better than the brand I'd used & enjoyed in the past. Their new packaging is bangin', their ethos is 10/10 & their products are luxurious AF - a big part of my life now.

UpCircle Beauty (previously Optiat) have grown beyond their original offerings of repurposed coffee-based body scrubs; they now also create natural soaps from brewed chai tea spices & organic face serum; using oil extracted from used coffee grounds. Both their new soaps and serum are certified by Soil Association and COSMOS

The brand's founders have refined & grown their range of natural skincare products as part of the rebrand; transitioning their coffee scrubs from plastic tubes to 100% aluminium ones & eliminating 99% of their plastic packaging [yaaaaaaaas!]

UpCircle create genuinely sustainable, natural and organic skincare that is not only innovative in application and design; but which also delivers consistently fantastic results. 🙌 It's vegan-friendly, cruelty-free and 100% sustainable too. They very kindly sent me a couple of their new products to try out recently - and I'm here today to sing my praises for them. Probably with a fair bit of weeping & overexcited swears.

Upcircle's new range includes Coffee Body Scrubs [3 different blends with Shea Butter to nourish skin post-scrub; made using Arabica coffee grounds from artisan coffee shops], Coffee Face Scrubs [again, 3 different blends - high in caffeine and antioxidants with skin brightening properties], Chai Soap Bars & a gorge Face Serum; too.

I've been lucky enough to try out the Upcircle Coffee Face Scrub Herbal Blend* and this fab lil bottle of Upcircle Organic Face Serum with Coffee Oil* over the past couple of weeks - and they're a lil revelation

I've tried a fair few coffee body scrubs in my time [including the Optiat branded ones actually, back in the day!] and I really, really love them & the exfoliating, refreshing & re-energising vibes they bring about... but never one designed specifically for the face before. So this new coffee infused facial product excited me greatly

The one Upcircle sent over to me is the Herbal Blend; made with repurposed coffee grounds from London cafes [how cool is that?!]  This variant is the ideal choice for us huns with oily / combination skin, with tea tree to help fight spots, acne & breakouts.

You may have seen me during one of my many bath-snaps on Instagram stories sporting a coffee ground-fuelled face full of this product - I LOVE it. It smells so zesty & alluring; leaving your skin feeling so rejuvenated and tingly-fresh. It's a different consistency to ya typical coffee body scrub... which it needs to be for the face, as that's the issue I've had when trying to exfoliate it with general scrubs before; & it just not clinging to the skin the same.

Your skin is left fresh, super soft, ALIVE and feeling super clean post-scrub - and it just all smells so good; like a sexy facial version of a Chocolate Orange. I'd highly recommend it for anyone who has oily skin or the remnants of breakouts past on ya face; it lifts, brightens, softens & exfoliates a treat.

The coffee-infused facial serum is another luxury lil experience in itself - with stunning packaging... I'm a sucker for a little glass bottle, and a good font! This serum is really rich & nourishing; a little goes a long way, you only need a couple of drops to treat the entire face. It smells lovely too - it reminds me of Turkish Delight!

Your skin is left hydrated, soft & nourished post-application; I've been using this serum after cleansing and toning of an evening, before moisturiser [but tbh, you don't really feel the need for moisturiser after massaging this in, it's that rich.] It's gorgeous to look at, gorgeous to smell, gorgeous to use and good for the skin AS WELL AS the world. What's not to love?

I'm a big fan of Upcircle, their products and their sustainable, cruelty-free ethos. I love both these products, especially the facial coffee scrub; which is a proper lil revelation for me and something that just leaves my massive rancid face feeling amazing. I'd highly recommend - for the good of your skin, and the good of the planet too!

The range is available to shop in Boots and via www.upcirclebeauty.com.
