I love NYX Makeup. Always have, always will. If there's one brand I'm prepared to splash out on - or pick something up just to try out on a whim - it'll be from these guys. And that's really something coming from me, as I'm tight AF & don't happily part with cash [namely cos I don't ever have any!]
I've supported the brand for a few years now - ever since the very first Soft Matte Lip Cream I picked up from their collection in about 2013 for an event in London. I love their packaging, affordable price tags, on-point products [always evolving to cater for the latest beauty trends] and the fact they don't test on floofy pets. I also love the fact they they've started stocking this babein' brand at Debenhams; one of my favourite places to lose myself in - amongst the beauty counters, gift departments and fragrance stands.
I've been lucky enough to get my hands on some of NYX Professional Makeup's bestselling bits from Debenhams to test out & share with you guys today - and there's some fitties in the mix here, I'll tell you that for free! Okay so yeah - I am more than a little excited to see how this product works out for me over the next few weeks of extensive testing that I have planned for it. I was rambling on over on Insta Stories the other day about how I'd recently taken some selfies for the 'Gram and had the shocker-of-a-lifetime when I noticed how obscenely large my pores were sans-filter. So I'm really keen to discover whether regularly using this product alleviates the situ.
On first impressions it's a craaaaaazy fluffy, 'feels-like-nothing' consistency... a little like cement / concrete for the face [you'll know what I mean when you try it.] It's like... think of an uneven surface, and when you scrape cement [or whatever that grey building material stuff is!] over the rough edges & holes it fills them; leaving you with an even finish. But in makeup form. It totally leaves your skin feeling like velvet and the difference it makes to open pores is INSANE!!! If you're a member of team Massive Pores [like me] this stuff is a must-have. I was legit left stunned when I tried it on a small patch of holey looking skin.
NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette in Cool Neutrals* RRP £16.00
Eyeshadow Palettes; my one massive vice, downfall and love. But she's a beaut, amiright? The palette retails at £16.00 and contains 16 cool toned, extremely workable shades; meaning they're costing you about £1 per pan. Which is pretty good value!
A mix of mattes, shimmers and metallics; the Cool Neutrals palette is a must-have for creating proper decent smokes. Compact, beautiful and packed full of pigment; I can't fault her. Or deny my love for her; espesh some of the deeper shades in the two bottom rows. Dat purple *heart eyes emojis infinitely*
Just look at some of the shades in this palette queens! That royal blue makes my life. A mixture of creamy and massively pigmented powders to slay super hot smokey, defined eye makeup looks and chisel them cheekbones to ultimate perfection. No wonder this is a bestseller!
NYX Strobe of Genius Illuminating Palette* RRP £16.00
If there's one of these products I'm excited to rub my entire face in; it HAS to be this beautiful palette. Just look how erotic it is *insert endless streams of heart-eyed emojis* This babein highlighting palette gives me legit life. Everything about it - from how compact it is, to how good it looks [high Instagrammable rating] just fills me with intense happiness & makes me embrace highlighter that little more each day.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Budapest* RRP £6.00
I have wanted this shade for so long. Like, way long; since I spotted it on a Pinterest image around 230 BC and fell in love with it. I picked up NYX's Mahogany lip liner during my desperate quest to find it [which was lucky actually as I can totally use it with this now] but until now, she's slipped through my fingers.
I can confirm Budapest was worth the wait - holy mother of hell she's a beaut; pigmented, rich, beautifully matte and at that price... a contender for my fav product of 2017. I literally cannot wait to get my hair done, my tan on and slick on endless layers of Budapest this season.
NYX Butter Gloss in Strawberry Parfait* RRP £5.50
This is the exact kinda dewy, glossy pink shade I typically wear during the day [at a price I can {almost} comfortably afford] and I love it. Strawberry Parfait isn't as intense as the other shades in this lip edit - though the colour is sweet & totally buildable, she's definitely sporting a more natural, dewy finish than the others.
I've seen and heard LOADS about the NYX Lip Lingerie products prior to this post... even me Ma has one... but this is my first time with them. I. Am. Blown. AWAY by how pigmented yet non-drying this shade is. And how actually perfect it is for the Autumn / Winter seasons. No wonder everyone loves these so much - Exotic is one of my favourite discoveries from this colab and I'm too excited to hunt down & purchase every other Lip Lingerie shade I can get my mitts on now!!

This is a shade totally unlike anything else I own. And it's texture, longevity and beautiful suede finish have captured my actual heart. Another shade perfect for this time of year, I'm super keen to have a further play about with this and create some super festive, on-point looks with it. And just look at that diamond-esque detailing on the cap! LOVE.
If you're looking for Fall shades with matte finishes, raaaaaaging colour pay-off and huge staying power, then this and NYX's Lip Lingerie products are the ones for you, queens.
Are you in love now? Cos I sure am. Even more than I was previously... which I think takes my love into the realms of mega stalker obsesso by this stage. The versatility, affordability, long-lasting formula and rich colour pay-off of each and every product I seem to try from the brand makes NYX makeup a must-try in my eyes - and I expect to see them nestled under many a Christmas Tree this year!
