It's no secret that I love a bitta fake tan in my life. Especially as I'm too poor to afford a holiday and I'm not even in a position to make the most of the British sunshine; what with everything going on in my sham of a life right now. Lol. Oh, adulting.
So I've firmly adopted the mantra fake it till you make it and I'm tanning from a bottle; safely and on a budget. With all my health ailments right now, the last thing I need is skin cancer scares adding to the never ending list of body parts betraying me. But equally, I'm too transparent and mouldy looking to not embrace a bit of a terracotta glow - especially now it's legs out season and too hot to cope. So fake tan it is. And I've found a FAB, ultra glamorous Tanning Mitt to help me achieve a streak-free finish.
This stylish, sexy little leopard print Tanning Mitt is from Velvotan - a brand I hadn't heard of before, but would totes recommend after trying this. It's gorgeous quality, super soft and doesn't pure absorb the fake tan as you're applying it; like some of the cheaper ones do. And I love how bold it is - from the striking leopard print on its upper, to the bright coral on the flip side.
This little number is a new release for 2017 - and the sexiest looking Tanning Mitt I've ever clapped eyes on! It works with any formula of fake tan [mousse, cream, spray on and tinted moisturiser] and promises a streak free finish every time - plus its waterproof barrier covering stops any fluid from seeping through and accidentally tanning your hands mid-application. There's literally nothing worse than this - trust me. I once had to use an ENTIRE BOTTLE of Asda Smart Price toilet bleach to unstain my hands from a similar disaster.
You can get your mitts [pun very much intended] on this Original Leopard Print Tanning Mitt* from Velvotan at Tesco for just £2.99 - which is amazing value and super accessible too; simply throw one in your trolley alongside that value pack of pasta [and your weekend wine] and you're good to go! Alternatively, you can shop the rest of Velvotan's patended self-tanning range via Tesco Online, Amazon, Feelunique.com and Fragrance Direct.
Have you ever SEEN a more stylish Tanning Mitt in your life? Have you tried anything from Velvotan before? What's your favourite way to apply fake tan - got any tips for me?
