Missguided Babe Power Perfume*

I love Missguided, so when they announced the release of their first perfume, I knew - without even smelling it - that it would be amazing. They're one of the few online retailers who actually seem to listen to their customers, consistently slay their branding and who stock clothes which actually come up true-to-size... meaning that I can shop online with them & not be left wildly disappointed by the assortment of child-sized garments that turn up. Like you get with other retailers. Naming no-one in particular *cough*H&M*cough*.

This is Missguided's Babe Power Eau De Parfum* 80ml, which retails at £28. With its quirky design, rose gold exterior & fab branding it ticks all the boxes from the get-go - but does it smell as babein' as its name suggests?

Well, in a word - yes. It wasn't quite what I was expecting and I'll admit that on the first spritz, I wasn't sure whether I liked it - but once it mellowed into its warmer middle and base notes I was hooked. It's a very hard fragrance to describe - it's sweet and a little floral, but it's very fruity initially; before mellowing out into a spicy, vanilla infused kinda base. Officially, it's described as follows:

top notes: grapefruit zest, sour cherry, pink pepper, crisp apple, pineapple and rhubarb

heart notes: orange blossom, peony and jasmine

base notes: vanilla, candy floss, sensual musk, amber crystals 

I think it goes without saying that whoever designed the packaging & branding for the Babe Power Perfume deserves an instant payrise... it stands out by a mile when compared to ya bog-standard perfume bottles & I love everything about it. It's stylish, sleek and fierce AF; all elements which 100% are reflected in Babe Power's unique fragrance too.

Just throwing this out there but fellas, if you've stumbled across this blog post... this perfume would make a FANTASTIC Valentine's Day gift, yeno. And equally, with its powerful message of BABE POWER this fierce fragrance makes the perfect choice of gift for your BFF  [or yourself] for Galentine's too - cos let's face it, most boys are useless and ya gals / you should & will always be number 1. And there you have it - single or not, I've now justified your need for this fab perfume ... so go wild spreading the love for February 14th this year, guilt free.
