You might know me for being somewhat of a notorious hairbrush dodger / fiend, but on the off-chance I do make an effort with me mane, I like to use effective tools which work straight off, yeno? No messing around required or professional know-how necessary. I'm no hairdresser [in fact, I keep on having nightmares where Katie Middleton and Leanne Page tell me this and also, that my hair is sh*t *sobs*] but do I know a handy tool or two [and a bargain price tag] when I see one.
These fab hairstyling hacks - which won't cost you the earth, from innovative hair styling brand Scünci are tools which have defo piqued my attention for exactly that; as well as making me look less trampy and upgrading my [admittedly rare] styling regime to being much more efficient.
Scünci are the hair styling brand that have thought of every hair hack under the sun [on this note, I have some super fun DIY Summer Hair Looks posts planned actually; with some of their kits, accessories and ultra glam goodies I was kindly gifted at Christmas] and made them accessible to all budgets. So us poor people / money savvy shoppers don't have to suffer with bad hair days any longer; thanks to the constraints of our collective wallets!

From delicate hair accessories to finish off a glam do... to basic, non-snag bobbles and finishing brushes - these guys have got yo back.
I [naturally] LOVE the bright pink aesthetic of these Scünci brushes and their shaped, ceramic handles that give the perfect amount of grip and control when using them. They're each perfectly designed for the role they'll be playing in your hairstyling regime and feel / perform as good as they look [ie very!]
The Scünci Detangling Brush* is perfect for gals like me, who have long and fine locks which get dead tangled dead easily. Its wide, easy to grab handle and squishy bed of bristles allow you to tug through the toughest of tangles - without major pain. You can use it on wet or dry hair, so I quite often take it in the shower with me to work through more troublesome tangles... with a sh*tload of conditioner and detangling products!
I have quite fine, limp hair [though I guess you guys wouldn't really see that side of it, as I ALWAYS have it pinned up in some form of messy bun to enhance my levels of productivity / avoid washing it] so tools like this Scünci Volume Brush* are gifts sent from God. I love the curved shape of the brush and the hard, taking no sh*t bristles - it's shaping has really helped me create some pretty decent quiffs recently and will be perfect to create the necessary volume & height to pull off daring up-dos and victory rolls.
Finally, this Scünci Quick Dry Paddle Brush* [which I've featured on my Instagram before - and loaaadsss of you messaged me about] is bae - especially for you gals with long or thick hair. As well as looking super pretty, this purpose designed brush allows like, over 50% more air to flow through it when blowdrying than ya bog standard brush [bog standard, not bog brush... times aren't that hard for me yet that I've had to start combing my hair with the toilet accessories] does. Meaning it speeds the whole process right up - which is ideal when you're running a bit late for your Monday morning shift of doom, cos you fancied an extra 5 [well, more like 15] minutes in bed!
