Yeah I'm admittedly late in posting this, but no; I don't rly give a solitary or collective sh*t. Because no matter how late I am jumping on the January blogpost wagon of fave product round-ups [mid Feb ain't too shabby for me, I didn't think?] nothing's going to change - the products within this post were some of my favs in 2017, but are still very much current baes too. Here's why - and a little more about these absolute worldies too.

Let's kick things firmly off with these Smilelab Teeth Whitening Strips... cos guys, I sh*t you not, these are incredible. I've tried a pretty wide range of teeth whitening inventions in my time [I am pretty much a pensioner, so that's a lot of time] with very minimal - if any - results. But these strips - holy mother of hell, they give instantly noticeable results from the moment you take them off yer gnashers and are 100% worth the investment

The toothpaste too is frigging awesome and extremely effective in making teeth look whiter. So don't pay a small fortune for teeth whitening at the denny - or go to one of them knock off practices that pure bleach ya mouth with illegal chemicals; get your butt down to Boots & enjoy them advantage card points, gurl.

In terms of fragrance - and in fighting the good fight against smelling like sh*t, there's a few picks nestling in amongst this somewhat jam-packed flatlay definitely worth mentioning here. So...? released more of their bestselling body mists in 2017 [which are cheap as chips and available in Boots & Superdrug] and these two particular scents - Candyfloss and Fresh Floral, are so damn good that I can't even.

Change by Lisa Riley is a perfume I would never have anticipated loving so much [I'd forgotten she existed tbh, outside of her You've Been Framed Days!] but this feisty, powerful scent captured my heart last year; thanks to Ideal World TV. Vera Wang's Hippy Princess will forever be in my top five scents, Hugo Boss' Eau De Parfum For Her is my new all time favourite perfume ever [and something I dedicated a whole blog post to here] and discovering this Baby Powder scented perfume from The Library of Fragrance / Latest in Beauty was another scent milestone which totes needs mentioning. It just smells so good!! You can find out more about the Latest in Beauty experience here.

I'm properly sh*te at cleaning my makeup brushes. Despite reading all the horror stories of various creatures festering in unclean brushes & making people's faces peel off [maybe slightly dramatic but yeno], I still put off doing it. However, this Purifying Brush Cleaner [and also, the Brush Cleaning Egg] from Ciara Daly Makeup is a game-changer and makes the process so easy. It simply spritzes out, gets to work straight away and is super powerful

This ultimate ball-ache of a chore is made quicker, more enjoyable and tons more efficient; with brushes drying rapidly after their wash, smelling fresh & with every last trace of product removed. You can save 15% on Ciara's range of products using code love15 at checkout [not an aff or commission based code, just for the genuine love of this brand that] and I highly recommend checking out her collection.

Monuskin's range of products for oily skin rocked my world, skin and senses in 2017 - they honestly work so well for me & my shiny joke of a complexion. My all-time fave from all the beaut products they gifted me is undoubtedly the exfoliating scrub though - it's amazing in every way. I am going to cry genuine, unstoppable tears when it finally runs out.. and judging by how much I've used it, it won't be long. And then I may as well just give up on life and resume  wandering around looking like an oil slick gone wrong.

And talking of exfoliation, this is another scrub that I DO actually want [vintage TLC reference there, amiright?!] ... from Bloomtown - which smells so incredibly fit that I can't cope. This is their beautiful Sugar Scrub - in the fragrance The Woods; and it's just all kinds of erotic tbh. The fragrance is too fit - like, I want this scent in and around my nostrils for the rest of time, pls. And as well as exfoliating, this product leaves your skin dead soft and hydrated afterwards; too. Great for removing fake tan remnants. Absolute babe of Bloomtown.

I rly love Embryolisse tbh - they were a new brand to me in 2017 but I very quickly established that their Micellar Water [yep, that M word I have NO SH*TTING IDEA how to say] is up there as one of the best I've ever used. Soz Garnier hun; your harsh, stingy AF formula was not the one for me. But this one totes is. And it smells like a dream. A wet one. Soz, I'm very inappropriate.

And finnnnalllllyyyyy I wanted to show a little love to Skintruth; a lesser known brand who totes deserve more recognition and love. I've been using their Equalising Toner for ages now - which smells pure fit and doesn't leave your face stinging or on fire [like I've found with other toners] and their fab little Clay Facemask pot, which really helps with my entire oily facial situation yeno. Check dem out xo
