Ingrowing hairs. Bane of my life. ALWAYS rearing their ugly heads after I've had a wax or epilated; no matter how ferociously I've exfoliated beforehand. I've followed every step every beauty magazine EVER has told me to take, and yet the blighters still plague my life.

I kinda have a love-hate relationship with them, if truth be told. Like they do my head in, leave marks on my oh-so-fragile skin and can be pretty uncomfortable, too. But then on the flipside, those 'longest ever ingrowing hair removal' videos on YouTube make me wonder what it would be like to cultivate mine, purely for the satisfaction of setting them free one day; for that moment of viral internet fame [I'm that sicko who is strangely fascinated with those spot squeezing, ingrowing hair and other such GRIM videos. I don't know what it is about them haha.]

Anyway, thinking about life logically and not in a 'five minutes of fame' way - ingrowing hairs are a right pain in the a*se and definitely something I could do without. Amiright? Do you get these bad boys too? As I've got older and use a mix of razors, getting waxes and other longer term hair removal options such as epilating to keep my skin smooth, I've noticed that my ingrowing hair situation has peaked and is at an all time high. It's like swings and roundabouts - my legs are smoother for longer after epilating, but then, this seems to be because half the hair just grows back under the skin instead? I don't get it. I don't like it. And I needed to get rid of it. Which is why I was so thankful to hear about Aloe Clear.

Aloe Clear very kindly sent me some of their products to try out; a large 60ml bottle of their Soothing and Cooling Roll On Gel* and three handy little bottles of their Bikini Saver*, too. I wish SO MUCH that I'd heard about this stuff before I went on holiday this year. But at least I'm stocked up, ready for my next vacay [or my clear, smooth skin will give me the perfect excuse to book one, right?!]

What is Aloeclear?

Aloeclear is a “roll on solution” for ingrown hair and razor rash, which has some pretty insane reviews - people raving about how great it is. They're right, btw. Aloeclear lotion is specifically developed in their UK based lab, to banish ingrown hair and razor rash after hair removal. Just up the road from me, actually #LocalBiz

How?

Thanks to its anti bacterial, exfoliating action and with a natural blend of moisturising Aloe Vera & soothing Mentha Piperita, Aloeclear delivers the clearest, freshest skin possible after hair removal, plus quickly lifting pre-existing ingrows to the surface.

Aloeclear is a roll on defence against ingrown hair, razor rash and skin irritation after hair removal. It's suitable for all skin types, too. Aloeclear is ideal for use after any hair removal procedure including Waxing, Shaving, Sugaring, Threading and Electrolysis.

Its Aloe Vera rich formula instantly cools and calms skin bringing fast relief to after wax redness or razor burn. And it's 100% sting free, promise!

What's it like?

In a word - AMAZING. It smells gorgeous and feels incredible on your skin. It's cooling, soothing, relaxing and definitely enhances your circulation. Hours later, my legs still feel AMAZING; like totally reinvigorated, wide awake and relaxed. There's no stinging, no redness, no rashes. Just clear, rejuvenated skin.

My skin looks refreshed, alive and clear - the most even the skin on my legs has looked possibly ever. Sometimes after shaving or waxing my skin goes pure pink and irritable - but not anymore.

Ingrowing hair wise - this stuff seems to stimulate them and encourage them to rise to the surface, rather than them just lurking u
nder my skin. Which means when I exfoliate and shave again, they are eradicated for good. And the cycle continues.

The Roll On feature on the Aloeclear products is just like using a deodorant - it's super quick and easy to apply. It dries quickly too, making Aloeclear totally convenient to slip into my daily routine. The bigger Roll On is ideal for larger surface areas; such as my legs, and the little Bikini Savers give you more precision and control when applying to smaller, harder to reach areas. They're  also great for use on the go, to target stubborn ingrowing hairsGenius, really. And definitely a product I recommend.

The Aloeclear Bikini Saver Roll On is just £2.95 [click here to buy] and the larger, 60ml Roll On is £12.95 [click here to buy.] Honestly, if your skin needs a bit of TLC and you suffer with  razor rash after hair removal, you should totes check this product out. It's a game changer.
